Food was very delicious. View was beautiful. It was nice catching the sunset. Had a delicious espresso martini which was one of my favorites to date.
Amazing food, drinks and ambiance! Must visit if in La Jolla ☺️
This is a great spot for a celebratory dinner.! The menu is creative and delicious. Entrées are generously sized— for example the duck was two full breast halves, not just a few slices. A special oyster appetizer was inventive, and prepared with a light hand to show off the delicate briny flavor. Everything was perfectly prepared. Wine list is extensive, but pricey— though there are a few quite nice wines at accessible price points. Service is really excellent and ambience on outside patio delightful. Perfect venue for a special night.
My friend and I both enjoyed our choices a LOT...exquisite hamachi sashimi and a fried chicken sandwich. Wait staff extremely solicitous and patient--we were there three hours! Wine selections, vis a vis Sauv. Blanc could be better: a New Zealand choice included?
Excellent food and friendly service!
The service was wonderful and the food exceptional. The evening couldn’t have been better.
Great food, great setting. Wednesdays’s any wine half price!
Great service and amazing food at NINE-TEN Restaurant. Beautiful meal from beginning to end; every dish was filled with so much flavor and texture. Perfect date night spot with the ocean a short walk away. Will definitely be a returning customer!
Upscale food. Great variety. Parking accessible. We had great service and will definitely be back. Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning and surprisingly not crowded. We had 5 different entrees and all were spectacular. Don’t forget to try their hot sour dough bread and their pastrami states homemade and it was delicious. I had the salmon avocado toast and it was great. Mom had the SHAKSHUKA and I was surprised that at her age of 91 she loved it. We all shared some of the ricotta pancakes. Give this place a try. A hidden gem.
Outstanding food and service - as always! One of our favorite restaurants.
Everything was amazing as always. My favorite restaurant.
Husbands birthday lunch but they didn’t acknowledge it even after putting it in the reservation. Food was great! Server wanted to be anywhere but there. He kept forgetting things and never brought our drink but tried to charge us.
Excellent food. Swordfish Tacos were delicious! Had a nice lunch with a friend. Our server was so accommodating & even brought our coffee/teas inside for us when sun shifted. Valet was great in a busy area of La Jolla.
Excellent food; well plated and prepared. The outdoor tables in the back are nice, but the area could be dressed up a bit more to make it feel special. Service was prompt and attentive, although it seemed almost too casual/non-chalant for a restaurant that strives to provide a fine dining experience.
Nine-Ten is a delightful restaurant! The food is delicious, innovative and perfectly presented by an attentive and well-trained staff.
My only annoyance was not with the restaurant but with the restrictive OpenTable seating options. When we arrived at 5:15, there were only 2 tables in use, and by 6:30, which I would prefer, there were still several empty tables. I will contact restaurants directly in the future!
Great ambience, intimate setting, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service.
Great meal and setting. Swordfish tacos were sublime
Everything was delicious! Best Eggs Benedict I have ever had!
Eric was an excellent waiter and the food was phenomenal. Not inexpensive but excellent. Thx
We live in Montecito, California and were visiting Mission Bay.
I wish we had a restaurant like Nine Ten where we live.
The food was outstanding. I ordered scallops, and it was the best scallop preparation I’ve ever tasted!
I wish I could have asked for the recipe, but they wouldn’t taste the same The size of each scallop was very large.
It was an excellent dinner.
Great birthday celebration
An excellent evening all around.
Service was very slow, but the setting was so charming it didn’t matter much. Food was quite good.
We were surprised to learn it was wine Wednesday, great deal.
Food & service was excellent!
The brunch menu is fabulous! The maple pecan scone and swordfish tacos were incredible! Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable. We always love dining at Nine-Ten!
Such a beautiful experience. Everything was fabulous. You will not be disappointed.
I hadn't heard of this place, but kept seeing it pop up as one of the best in San Diego. The food was amazing, and everyone agreed one of the best meals they've had. Best burger, best duck, best oysters, best lamb, everyone's meal was beyond expectation. The ambiance was lacking though, as it's just kindof a hotel patio setup. But I will be back for the food for sure.
Our first dinner on vacation and it was very good. Glad we came here.
The ambiance, our service, the food and Wednesday's 50% off all bottles of wine came together for having a fabulous 20 yr celebration.
We have eaten here several times, and consider it one of San Diego's best restaurants. The 'Mercy of the Chef' multi-course dinner is excellent. It's not currently on the menu, but is available on request.
Good was very good especially the duck and lamb. The pork belly appetizer was yummy as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the almond cake dessert as well. Great time overall.
We had our anticipated Sunday brunch at the restaurant, and the balcony view was nice. However, the food was merely mediocre. My Egg-Benedict was tepid warm, with heavy sauce that had gone cold. The other dishes we had were on the greasy side. The whole experience at this restaurant (we also had dinner here after reading the rave reviews and wonderful pictures on their website) made us wonder whether the restaurant has changed its chef, and lost its Michelin star status/menu as a result.
We were given rave reviews about this restaurant but it turned out to be a nice restaurant not worth recommending. The dinner menu was uninspiring and the Sunday brunch was just regular hotel restaurant menu. The food was decent but not special.
Best kept little secret in La Jolla. Always great food and service.
Outstanding in every way. We had a gobsmacking experience for dinner, and kept going back for breakfast. The Grande Colonial presentsa gem!
Food was excellent, good variety and very creatively prepared.
Terrific place to celebrate any occasion. Will definitely be back!
Everything was excellent. The food is probably the best in the area. Service was fine. Good attention. Seating on the back balcony was great.
