Nice vibes, felt quiet and out of the way. Nice service
Arrived to be told no blankets as they were in the wash. Of course it was outside so we expected to be a bit cold but there was nothing in the way of warmth. The food menu was basically just burgers because everything else was not available. Tried to order something else but this was unavailable as well. We didn’t stay to taste the food, we left as soon as we could.
Hello Jason, We are sorry you did not enjoy you’re time with us. Unfortunately with the rules around COVID-19 our team regularly wash and dry the blankets. If they are in the machines this means we ca not offer one right away. Like most restaurants we have been working with a limited menu due to suppliers unable to provide normal service. I am aware we were out of the Chicken Schnitzel, this was the only item unavailable at the time of you’re visit with us. Sincerest apologies, NineB
Excellent customer service from all the members of staff. A lovely modern restaurant absolutely recommend
First time visitor, as we don’t live in the East Midlands. Very quiet outdoor area, with blankets provided for customer use. The menu was quite limited, although as I was aware of this on booking it wasn’t an issue. Delightful staff!
NineB had a great atmosphere with elegant outdoor dining, great food and amazing cocktails. The service was also superb, and the price overall was in keeping with the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend.
Service was exceptional and the staff were very helpful. Food was just ok. Nice ambience and very modern.
The restaurant wasn’t aware of our reservation, but fortunately there were enough empty tables for us.
The menu had a good variety, however, the descriptions/ titles didn’t manage the expectations of what was presented. A ‘bread platter’ starter arrived as 2 slices of toasted baguette with olives. The bread itself was identical to the bread accompanying the vegetable soup, which was an anti-climax to the overall experience. I would suggest amending some of the dish titles to reflect what is actually offered by the kitchen. Mains was enjoyable.
Very dull atmosphere with little/no music.
Despite all this, it was great to back in a restaurant setting and looking forward to eating at the Blues Bar later this week.
THE FOOD WAS AWFUL! It was microwaved food claimed as cooked food. THE SERVICE WAS LOVELY
Great location and service, lots of tables in the sun!
Amazing, lovely staff and really great food!
Would highly recommend!
Most of the food was nice but unfortunately when asking for a rare steak I was presented with a medium at best. The 'thick' chips were more like fries and we had to remind them to bring a bottle of wine that we ordered. Overall it was pretty average but the staff were pleasant.
Nice venue. Could be good but the food was only okay. My risotto was bland and a bit boring, my wife’s pork was dry. Service was very slow, nice people but slow. Waited over an hour for food - got an apology but still had to wait. Dessert was nice. Drinks also seemed watery. Not likely to return though might give it another chance post Covid
Lovely meal at NineB. Food was excellent - they just need to work on creating a bit more atmosphere, turn the lighting down maybe as it’s really bright and add to the decor as it feels quite bare and very much like a hotel restaurant at the moment. Overall though really nice and we’ll be back!
Food was lovely, service was quite slow considering there wasn't many people in the restaurant!
My first visit to NineB and certainly won’t be my last.
Outstanding food and service.
Despite the current situation causing the restaurant to lack in customers the ambience was still very comfortable.
The food was sensational, being a chef I value the flavours and efforts made by the chefs when eating out, every effort had been made to enhance every flavour in every mouthful taken. The front of house staff was very attentive, ensuring we had drinks with every course and a jug of water to refresh our pallets. Staff was all wearing face masks, we felt very safe with Covid restrictions in place. The decor of the restaurant is outstanding. A real treasure buried in the hustle and bustle of the city. We will 100% be returning.
Fab lunch and was lovely to be only 3 couplesin the resturant so felt bery safe.
We were impressed by the reassuring measures in place regarding Covid, which made for a more relaxed experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and we found the food tasty.
First time visiting. Little hidden gem in Leicester, interior is stunning will certainly be returning for a drink or 3!
Nice to catch up with friends in one of the booths. Staff were very accommodating and the food and service exemplary.
Very quiet evening. Lovely decor, good service. Food was fantastic.
We received a very friendly welcome and great service throughout. Our food was excellent - good, fresh ingredients, tasty and well-prepared. Highly recommended!
We had such a lovely evening! Food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff knew it was mine and my partner’s anniversary so at the end of our meal they brought out a little plate with “Happy Anniversary” written on it in chocolate along with some chocolate covered raspberries. It was really sweet of them and topped off the evening!
Beautiful aesthetics. Nice and quiet and great service!
Service was friendly, polite and attentive. The food we ordered was excellent - fresh ingredients, well prepared and nicely presented. The portion sizes were generous. We very much enjoyed our visit.
Food excellent, but took 55 minutes to arrive. Love the building. Wine was expensive
We went at 7pm and it was really quiet and we thought it was such a shame as the restaurant looks amazing, the service was really good and the food was also quality. The young man making the drinks and waiting to all tables was amazing I wish we would have got his name. I hope more people hear about this place it’s definitely worth a visit!
Really enjoyed the food, service was a bit slow but understandable due to COVID-19. All staff in masks and PPE. I would recommend it for a nice meal.
No real atmosphere being wednesday night. Food and service was good just not amazing. Portion size was bigger than expected. We had 2 cocktails, 2 starters, 2 mains, vodka n lemonade and pale ale at £70 then eat out to help out £20 off. The £50 is more in keeping with this meal.
Dont get me wrong lovely meal just not enough to rush back.
The waitress was friendly, the food was delicious and warm, the environment was brilliant. I can't fault anything.
needs more of a open range menu , quite basic , the ciabatta bread needs to come with salad as quite carbs with the crisps , the dish looked very beige , but apart from that the cocktails where lucky, deco, and staff were lovely
The service was great. The food tasted amazing overall a great evening!
Waiting staff not trained to serve table correctly ( not their fault)
Staff did know the menu
Never asked how our food was
Had to ask for sauces/mustard
Manager sat on her laptop the whole night in the restaurant
Waitress at the next table serving 4 lads very loud
Baby crying in the next booth
Very nicely fitted out
Would not rush back
This place is new and I thought it showed. Food was good, but everything just seemed like a learning curve. Was quiet but again being new not sure people are aware of it. With more people in it could be a great venue. So would go back again and hope more people would be dining too
We were a party of four. We're aware the venue is new, so we weren't expecting it to be buzzing and that probably was the attraction. It's a beautiful venue, but the food quality is very poor and not good value whatsoever. Some wine wasn't available, which meant we opted for the most expensive... not sure if that was a ploy to upsell?
The food was good maybe slightly over priced in the market, but overall I had no complaints.
Went here for the first time for Valentines and it was lovely! The food was delicious, the service was really good and the decor is beautiful!
Steaks were very good as was the cod dish. Very good service. Need a few more diners to create a restaurant atmosphere. It’s brand new venue so hopefully this will build up in time. Worth a visit.
