Great food! Very fresh and authentic. Great service even so after changing tables twice to accommodate two handicapped people. Wish there was a better bar menu. They serve only beer and wine. But We will recommend it to everyone! It was also extremely easy to get reservations on line and we received a call back to verify.

Looking for a good sit down dinner. It fits the bill. Food is food has good selection at a decent price.

Some of the items we ordered were very good and some not so much. We also realize that taste varies from person to person. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Reservations. What reservations? The hostess informed us upon entering Nimbeaux's that they don't accept reservations, so don't waste your time trying to make any! As for food, select at least 3 entrees that sound appetizing because chances are they will be out of something you would like to eat. Or, they will substitute something they do have in the back without telling you and bring it to you anyway, possibly hoping you won't notice! Overall, this was a huge disappointment and ruined our Father's Day dinner!

Upon arriving I was told I didn't have a reservation. Just call in.

This makes the 4th booking I have had to do for a group of people that was 15 or more and I'm never disappointed in the food , the service, and the welcome my people receive when we dine there. This is why I will continue to book any future Special occasions with Nimbeaux's.

Great seafood selection, reasonably priced, clean. Great Lemon pie and bread pudding

Probably good for families on a low budget, inexpensive but nothing special.

The food was all good except two at our table had crabcakes that were too salty to eat. But it is really hard to complain about a restaurant who opens for business at 5 p.m. on Saturday and happily takes an opentable reservation made at 4:30 p.m. that same day for a table for 19. That alone marks it high in my books. Then the owners were gracious enough to take my great-nephews on a tour of the kitchen and the back office! Thanks for taking care of us Nimbeaux's. We had a great mini-family reunion on my trip to Lafayette!

Nice place. Owners even came over to wish my mom a happy birthday. We were a huge group and rather noisy but no one seemed to mind. The food was excellent and had a great variety.

My husband and I were planning a trip to Lafayette for a workshop and found this restaurant online. We made a reservation for 8:30, the first available for a Saturday night. We arrived a bit early and found that the reservation was not necessary. We were seated and our waiter was quick to serve us. Our food was delicious and was served quickly. Part of my order included macaroni and cheese. The waiter warned me that it had been seasoned very well that day, but I still ordered it. This is the only reason I did not rate the food as very good. Mac and cheese should not be spicy! This was a minor concern, as our overall experience was excellent! I appreciated the simplicity of the decor. It made us feel welcome and part of the family

Owner makes special effort to welcome guests, especially "regulars". Good wholesome food at a pretty good price. Their fried catfish is not the best I have ever eaten but it is pretty doggone good!

Nimbeaux's once again did a great job in seating a large crowd and catering many diffrent dishs where, everyone was satisfied with their meal. the lady who took care of never let us want for anything and was very courteous and professional. we will as an organization contiue to set up lunchs for meeting theres.
