   First time at Niku and it did not disappoint! Service was amazing and food was so good. We got the tomahawk, broccolini, and crispy potatoes. My fav was the broccolini and my bf’s fav was the tomahawk.

   The food quality is very good. The improvement in quality over, for example, a Brazilian steakhouse, isn't sufficient to justify the ~5x increase in price though.

   The best steak I’ve ever had (wagyu tasting experience). Great customer service. Good drinks. A little loud. Pricey.

   Waitstaff was good. Ambiance was not bad, during 7pm it gets pretty loud and energetic (also had a crying baby nearby). Sides were excellent. Ordered the Ribeye and Filet. Ribeye was a bit on the chewy side so was a little bit disappointed. Overall everything was good.

   Niku was very enjoyable in their temporary location. My boyfriend is neurodivergent and sensitive to sound. They accommodated it so perfectly we were able to have our first dinner without any triggers. This made it the most memorable occasion for us. We are so grateful to them for making the accommodation effortless for us. We absolutely loved the staff and location. There are fire pits outside that are cozy after dinner. The tables are nicely spaced out. If you want to experience Niku with a little more privacy/space I would visit them now. The quality of the food is excellent as always. They made my “steak doesn’t agree with me” boyfriend into an absolute steak lover. I just wish Chef Dustin sold his cookies here 🥺 maybe one day. Thank you Niku for making our anniversary our best date yet.

   Stopped in at the temp location of Niku at The Third Floor inside The Jay Hotel. As usual, the food was phenomenal. Exact same menu as their usual location, and prepared the same. Our waitress Megan was very attentive and provided great service. The ambiance of The Third Floor is much louder and a less intimate setting, but that's outside of their control. Can't wait to get back to Niku when their regular location reopens.

   Greatly appreciate the crew at Niku for allowing us to switch to a window-side table for my birthday! Loved the food and service. Thank you for the additional glasses of wine tonight, and for allowing us to stay passed the closing hours!

   Everything was great, been meaning to try for a little while now. I wasn't sure because they are currently hosting out of their sister restaurant, but I was pleasantly suprised. I was able to grab a drink downstairs at Prelude, met my friend upstairs and we're sat right away. Drinks came quick service was great , shoutout to Megan our server for the great recomendations. Bone marrow was unique, but not my favorite the toast was great. The potatoes we're great and the star of the show the tomahawk was huge flavor was amazing. Can't forget the Dungeness crab starter that was amazing definetly try that. Will be back !

    It was outstanding. Everything from being greeted in the elevator by someone who was actually headed to their shift/getting back to the restaurant set the tone already for our experience. We were checked in for our 6pm reservation smoothly and brought to our table with multiple greetings from different folks for our anniversary occasion and loved it, we even got a small card with my personalized message to give to my girlfriend, which we will be keeping for a long time. We got complimentary champagne to start off our evening followed by avocado toast with roe. We had bone marrow with delicious short beef and bread, and the crispy pig ears were extremely underrated, probably the only time I would ever eat pig ears. We got the tomahawk, which was more than enough for the two of us, paired with the potatoes and broccolini. We topped it off with the wagyu fat brownie and it was tremendous. They even gave us some very unique cookie sandwiches to complete our evening. Our leftovers were packed very nicely and we finished our evening at the restaurant. I could not say how impressed we were with the service and food for both of our first time with Niku. I did not know that this was not their original location, but wow this will absolutely not be our last time ever dining with them. Would highly recommend!
