Cute little sushi place, was jam-packed at lunch on Monday. Probably a frequent haunt for business types around downtown Seattle. Overall Great sushi! I recommend the Geisha Roll!

Had sushi, sashimi, maki and hand roll. Incredibly fresh, not too much rice. Creative dishes. Well balanced flavors . Delicious! Must get the spicy scallop hand roll and Crunch Roll!

Disappointment. Average sushi at best. Not at all what I expect at a seafood capital like Seattle.

Enjoyed several tasty small plates during happy hour and a very good roll. All very fresh and well prepared, great cocktails too - the Coco Cosmo & Lemon Drop were excellent!

Food was decadent. Cocktail was dangerously good. Service was great. Ambiance was exactly what we were looking for after walking around downtown Seattle. We went for happy hour so we indulged at a reasonable price. Although there was a cute patio seating area we opted to sit inside by the window.

I had great expectations from the reviews on Yelp and other sites. Surprised to find out from the server that there's no happy hour on holidays such as Labor Day etc. - its not mentioned anywhere. For the price, it's worth it only if you visit during happy hours. We tried the so called famous Agedashi Tofu and found it pretty bland. For drinks we had Asahi Draft beer and Buddha's Tonic. We tried Fried Calamari ( ok taste, a bit more rubbery than I expected), Spicy Tuna Roll , Spider roll...and Firecracker Roll (off-menu but pricey at $18). Total with tips came to almost a hundred bucks - the priciest dinner I've ever had but not the best. Ambience was fine but service was excellent - the server was very attentive and fixed our wobbly table as soon as she saw it. Oh, and the flies can be a distraction.

We went on a warm evening and it was too hot to eat inside but an outdoor table was available. Lots of city traffic noise but much cooler than inside. We began with two appetizers which were good; the beef wrap rolls and Kalbi short ribs. We ordered the small plate of broiled salmon which was so "fishy" and overdone we sent it back to the kitchen. We ordered several seafood rolls which were good. Overall a good though not exceptional meal.

Nice quiet location off the beaten path away from the tourists. Delicious sushi. Very nice ambience. Very disappointing service, probably 45 minutes to get our first two dishes. To be fair, they comped me a beer and brought our third dish quickly. If I knew the service would improve I would return tomorrow.

This is a very nice restaurant; close to Pier 51 for a bite to eat before you head home. We often go after a Seattle outting. Great Happy Hour prices.

Made a reservation for my daughter and I to have dinner before attending a play. I had been there just once before and the waitress recognized me right away, which I thought was impressive and spoke volumes to their friendly staff. Since we mentioned our plans to attend a 7:30pm show, our food came out rather quickly but it was still presented beautifully and tasted delicious - both fresh and refreshing! Overall, it was a relaxing dining experience because of the ambiance but also felt fun and adventerous because of the menu options. Our only regret was running out of time to enjoy dessert, but now we have another reason to go back.

The Geisha cocktail was delicious! The sashimi was very good and is a great deal on happy hour. The location is a little hidden and it's a cozy spot. We enjoyed sitting in the patio on a nice Friday evening before heading to a Mariners game.

We were in Seattle on vacation and craved sushi. Found this little place on Yelp and really enjoyed it. The concierge at our hotel didn't know about it so we made sure to tell him. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were seated immediately upon arrival and the service was attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and the presentation is above average. I think the recipe may have changed for the agedashi tofu, I remember enjoying it a little more the last time I was here, but overall, I loved the meal. I order plain rice rolls, and this is one the few sushi places I go to where I don't have to explain what that means. We no longer live near this restaurant but we make the 40-minute drive to eat here, we enjoy it that much. I highly recommend Nijo Sushi!

Nijo is the place my husband and I always look forward to. We go to Seattle about once a month, and we do rotate restaurants. But we've never been disappointed at Nijo. We order off the happy hour menu, which is varied and offers great value.

The food was quite amazing, do not let the number of pieces that come with each roll fool you. There's either more than enough rolls, or they are much larger to compensate less rolls altogether. The chefs choice for nigiri was amazing as well and well worth the price (in my absolutely not experienced opinion).
