The food was phenomenal, the hostesses and our waiter were really patient and friendly!
I absolutely enjoyed the Sushi and the service was wonderful. The lightning and decor was relaxing and calming. I can’t wait to go again.
Beautiful presentations of the sushi rolls and delicious too!!! This restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere, I highly recommend you check it out!
Our waitress was super friendly and very accommodating.
The three of us had a wonderful time. The cocktails were fantastic, the salads were refreshing & the sushi was scrumptious.
I went with a date and we got the chefs choice six course meal. Each course came with a paired sake. Everything was fresh and the sake pairings were perfect. The service was outstanding. Great sushi spot.
Our waiter was pretty delayed and lax with her service - could have been more proactive.
I love this place! Excellent Sushi, Sashimi and Miso Soup. A must place to visit if you love Sushi!!
One of my favorite restaurants. Great Happy Hour menu.
We come here often and love it! :) great service and tasty sushi! I love the “Evergreen roll”!
First time at Nijo’s. Great sushi and service! Also a great value since we went during Happy Hour. Looking forward to going again!
Nijo has become one of the go-to places for my husband and me when we drive to Seattle every month or two. This time the restaurant was steadily busy, but service didn't appear to be overwhelmed. We find the happy hour menu, which runs until 7 pm every day, to have everything we need and be super reasonably priced. We'll keep coming back, for sure.
Nijo was absolutely outstanding. My boyfriend and I arrived about ten minutes before our reservation was guaranteed for, yet were seated immediately regardless.
The ambiance was perfect. Dimmed lights to set a casual and intimate mood, light noise from conversations around us made it feel comfortable, leaving us feeling like we could hold a conversation at a normal tone, while at the same time it was not at all noisy in the restaurant.
Our server was kind, polite, and speedy. Our service was impeccable, and the quality of each dish was exceptional.
We absolutely love Nijo, and this wonderful experience is just another to add to our memorable times there.
Nijo is good. The service is friendly and attentive and the cocktails are very good. The sushi is decent. Not great, but good fish and a nice selection of apps.
Friendly staff and great food! Consistently great!
Shout out to Lily our favorite server!
Food excellent. Selection great. Ambience cozy. Service friendly. Minor glitches quickly and happily resolved
I've been here before and the service and food have always been exceptional. The prices are quite a bit higher than what you would find in the International District, but for me - on occasion - it is worth it. If the prices were more in line with other sushi spots nearby, I would come here more often.
The sushi was incredible as was the service. My cucumber water glass never reached half full!
Happy hour menu is fantastic! We love coming here and go for birthdays and family dinners. The salmon collar is the best appetizer! We also ordered the fried oysters, calamari, short ribs and seared scallops... and about 8-9 rolls. The service is always on point, very friendly!
Cute little sushi place, was jam-packed at lunch on Monday. Probably a frequent haunt for business types around downtown Seattle. Overall Great sushi! I recommend the Geisha Roll!
Had sushi, sashimi, maki and hand roll. Incredibly fresh, not too much rice. Creative dishes. Well balanced flavors . Delicious! Must get the spicy scallop hand roll and Crunch Roll!
The ambience was nice, the wait staff friendly and the food was amazing.
Excellent food, great location, friendly service. The sushi is absolutely excellent !
Disappointment. Average sushi at best. Not at all what I expect at a seafood capital like Seattle.
Good food, reasonable price. Good menu with a lot of options.
really poor customer service, the host was rude and did not want to accommodate, the manager was slightly nicer, food was good though
Enjoyed several tasty small plates during happy hour and a very good roll. All very fresh and well prepared, great cocktails too - the Coco Cosmo & Lemon Drop were excellent!
Very fresh. Good value. Great selection of sake. A little on the loud side.
The sushi was amazing! Great service and awesome ambience.
The food is awesome! Seattle Tempura roll is a can't miss item. Great happy hour options.
Great sushi and great experience!
Food was decadent. Cocktail was dangerously good. Service was great. Ambiance was exactly what we were looking for after walking around downtown Seattle. We went for happy hour so we indulged at a reasonable price. Although there was a cute patio seating area we opted to sit inside by the window.
I had great expectations from the reviews on Yelp and other sites. Surprised to find out from the server that there's no happy hour on holidays such as Labor Day etc. - its not mentioned anywhere. For the price, it's worth it only if you visit during happy hours. We tried the so called famous Agedashi Tofu and found it pretty bland. For drinks we had Asahi Draft beer and Buddha's Tonic. We tried Fried Calamari ( ok taste, a bit more rubbery than I expected), Spicy Tuna Roll , Spider roll...and Firecracker Roll (off-menu but pricey at $18). Total with tips came to almost a hundred bucks - the priciest dinner I've ever had but not the best. Ambience was fine but service was excellent - the server was very attentive and fixed our wobbly table as soon as she saw it. Oh, and the flies can be a distraction.
We went on a warm evening and it was too hot to eat inside but an outdoor table was available. Lots of city traffic noise but much cooler than inside. We began with two appetizers which were good; the beef wrap rolls and Kalbi short ribs. We ordered the small plate of broiled salmon which was so "fishy" and overdone we sent it back to the kitchen. We ordered several seafood rolls which were good. Overall a good though not exceptional meal.
Fantastic service, price, food and leche martinis!
The sushi here was incredible! The service was great! We sat outside and it was very pleasant and quiet. I really enjoyed eating here and would recommend it.
Great location, service and food! I'm vegan and they totally accommodated me:) good cocktail selection too
This is my go to place for a sushi lunch. Ate outside on the patio. Good selection and reasonable prices for sushi. Staff is very friendly.
Nice quiet location off the beaten path away from the tourists. Delicious sushi. Very nice ambience. Very disappointing service, probably 45 minutes to get our first two dishes. To be fair, they comped me a beer and brought our third dish quickly. If I knew the service would improve I would return tomorrow.
This is a very nice restaurant; close to Pier 51 for a bite to eat before you head home. We often go after a Seattle outting. Great Happy Hour prices.
