Nijo Sushi Bar & Grill
1st time there. Was really good! Will recommend to friends
I took my husband for his birthday, food was great but even though I told the restaurant it was his birthday no one said anything or offered a birthday dessert or anything.
Valentines dinner - sushi was great
First time eating at Nijo Sushi Bar and Grill and it was nothing short than amazing! We went for Valentine’s Day. Our table was extremely sweet with a nice rose and candle. Wonderful atmosphere and our server was fantastic! Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. One of the rolls we got was from the valentines menus with the scallops and seaweed salad and it was literally the best roll ever! I would highly recommend Nijo!
Love this place. Great atmosphere and food!
Very convenient to Beneroya Hall. The Happy Hour was very enjoyable.
Really great food and super friendly staff. The server made awesome suggestions and every employee we interacted with was super gracious.
My friends and I are sushi and Japanese food challenged. By that I mean it can be hard to find a restaurant in the Seattle area that delivers to the quality that we really enjoy. Nijo did just that and we were all super impressed.
The service was very attentive as well. It was a nice atmosphere with just the right amount of noise from other diners.
A very enjoyable evening
Friendly service, good advice on food, romantically lit
Great food for a great price.
Excellent sushi! Nice business dinner on a Tue night.
Great service and delicious food at a surprisingly moderate price. I recommend this restaurant very highly!
It was my girlfriends birthday and our first time eating there and they were not very welcoming or nice. they were quite and giving us looks
This is by far my favorite place to eat! Love the delicious food, ambiance, service and staff! Thank you, Nijo Sushi Bar!!!!!
Decent wine selection, good rolls
Great food all around and a great place to dine.
The service was pretty bad, but the food was really good. If you don't mind waiting for your food to come out, then 10/10 would recommend.
Great service, food and good prices - we were there at Happy Hour.
I come here quite often and it was just OK this time around. The rolls seemed smaller today and the piece of salmon was very small. Maybe they’re cutting down on portion sizes?
I went here for lunch and ordered the Combo A. The chef's special was veggie and salmon. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The service was attentive, but not overly so. Overall, really good experience.
Best spot for spicy sushi and sake in the city! This is our go-to joint for authentic fresh rolls, short ribs and more! Great fir a date night out or with the kids. Cheers!
This was all of our first experiences dining here. While the sushi was good (we had sashimi and rolls) the service was so terrible, it affected our appreciation of the meal. There was no excuse since it wasn’t overly busy. Needless to say I don’t think any of us would go back.
Fantastic sushi and ambiance.
We thoroughly enjoyed lunch!
Great fresh selection of dishes and sushi.
Great food, service and setting! Our first time and we will definitely return!
The food is always amazing, especially the chefs combo. What an excellent deal for the quality of sushi and nigiri. I’ve taken friends and family alike here, and will continue to go during my trips to Seattle.
Wow. Terrible dinner at Nijo. When I made the reservation I asked for a good seat because we were celebrating a 50th birthday. They said nothing when we arrived — not even a welcome or a hello— and put us at a table right when you come in with lots of traffic. No one talked to us for 15 minutes. We got drinks 10 minutes after that and no one took our order until 40 minutes after our arrival—- even though it was a Tuesday and clearly not busy. Our food came in a random order with the soup last and only after we reminded the waiter. Not an enjoyable dining experience.
Showed up early for our reservation on a rainy Seattle night. Greeting was friendly, we were given the option of sitting in the bar area right away or waiting for our reserved table. We chose the bar area and had a great experience. Service was good, drinks were made well and the sushi was fantastic. We spent 2 weeks in Japan this summer and these rolls and fish freshness/quality was every bit as good as anything we had there.
One of the best places to eat Sushi! So Good! Their rolls are authentic and the fish is fresh! Yum!
Promptly and warmly greeted. Food and service outstanding. Nice sake list. A little on the loud side, but in a good way.
Opted for some sushi while in Seattle and this place had some good reviews. They didn’t disappoint. Little small but very busy and really good. Definitely make reservations or plan to wait a long time.
The food was fantastic very fresh, we ordered Omakase and was very pleased with the chefs choices.
We used only the happy hour menu, so this review lacks depth. The nigiri sushi was very good but short of excellent. The maki others were having looked voluminous, if nothing else. Lots of servers, so our server was attentive but not . . . warm. That's not a complaint at all, but it's one star down from top rating. We are definitely not fans of TVs in restaurants, however, and the two large TVs detracted from the experience.
I've been to Nijo Sushi over 15 times and its been a great dining experience every single time.
Sushi before symphony! Fish was fresh, tender, and delicious — to order. Rolls were flavorful and generous.
I can’t say enough about the freshness and goodness of the food here. Absolutely would recommend this for any occasion!
Lovely place, good food - loved the Unagi dish- great location and good service.
