Our meals were delicious. The service was excellent - the server was friendly, knowledgeable & very efficient. We have eaten here many times and will come back for many more.
The patio is ideal for a summer luncheon. Food is always good! Service always impeccable!
I really like this place, but the server mentioned 2-3 times how glad she was that we were the last of the brunch table. She also said she was glad for afternoon tables to arrive. I thought that was really rude. We knew it was a busy time; crowded, and so we asked very little. I thought we were pretty flexible, considering there was 7 of us!
Not a great first experience unfortunately. I will forgive a bit given it was Mother’s Day and I understand how busy it was. Unfortunately many tables that arrived after us got their food before us. The server was very awkward and cold. Food was good, nothing exceptional, but good.
We came for Mother's Day brunch. Nighttown was very affordable compared to many other brunches I looked into. We expected it to be very busy, since it was a holiday, but our server was still attentive and personal. Food was spectacular, as always. Yet another great experience at Nighttown!
We sat on the patio and that left a lot to be desired as far as atmosphere, but the food was wonderful!
Took my mom for Mother's Day, everything was good, my mom enjoyed her dish (Famous Dublin Lawyer) as did I, the atomsphere was festive and lively. My only two negatives is that the food is over priced and entering into the restaurant was very tight, narrow and challenging. It was like one way in and one way out and that was very frustrating.
Outstanding service. Great food. Wonderful ambience.
Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere.
So glad to come back to eat here! Once again, the PEI mussels were great including the broth! Ordered the burger which was fantastic! Added bacon and substituted asparagus for the fries for a small upcharge which is well worth it! Love the happy hour at the bar which is packed on both sides! They offer entertainment so the place gets busy. The food and service were outstanding....very personable and attentive to customers! Will return on next business trip to try the lobster roll and other great items on the menu!
Waited for ever for food . Forgot some of our food. Then had to send back food not cooked right. It was a long night. Good thing we didn't buys tickets for the show.
We have always enjoyed Nightown. Food was great and service was good. Only downside was the wobbly table. Had to keep our foot on the stand to keep it stable.
Night Town is our go-to place for Easter. The food and the service were great and we love the ambiance and sharing a good meal with others.
The Dublin Lawyer never disappoints. If you dine at Nighttown you must have the Dublin Lawyer.
Service was great for a very busy Easter Sunday brunch. Limited menu was well thought out and had the right amount of items to please anyone as well as allowing the kitchen staff to put out great food.
Service was sub par. Walked into the restaurant and was greeted immediately but the same gentleman who greeted us skipped us in line to seat us. If not for the manners of the couple ahead of us, we would have been waiting for sometime for a seat, even though we had a reservation. Once seated, the waitress ignored us nearly the entire time, saw us four times that included receiving the check, and was distant at best. Menu looked amazing but would not recommend this place to anyone.
Nighttown never disappoints. Service is consistently outstanding, food is always creative, well prepared and generous. I guess that's why we return there time after time. It has the BEST calamari and French onion soup as well as an excellent wine list. There is not a bad choice on the menu. Brendan and his staff are a well oiled machine that know how to please the customer. Keep up the outstanding work.
The Nighttown Gang always takes great care of us! Barbara was terrific lounge entertainment!
The best Eggs Benedict in town!
Nighttown had incredible food as well as talent. I enjoyed the fact that the headliner trumpet player had an all high school back up jazz band; I was blown away by their musical gifts. The only thing I didn't enjoy was how food and tea was passed from my server to customers and then to me, since there was no room for the server in between tables and I was in the middle of the inside of tables.
We were on the patio and there was not enough servers, it took forever to get service. My friend ordered prime rib and they ran out. The temperature was hot.
Meeting with local colleagues
When we arrived with our large group the restaurant had no record of our reservation. However we were given a private room upstairs and had amazing service by our server. The food was outstanding as usual.
Such a great experience and menu for restaurant week
Tasty, fresh food. Very good service. We will certainly go again for dinner and music
Great Jazz club with better than average food
Fantastic service and accommodated is in the back patio for a large party. Best place in town!!
We enjoyed the food . We had a reservation and we were taken to the enclosed outdoor patio- it was cold and we did not like the ambience of this seating. The person tried to offer us another table in this same area . We asked if we could sit in the main restaurant and he said everyone has reservations. We even offered to wait , so we decided to leave , he was not even trying to assist us. When the owner saw we were leaving he right away checked and told us we could be seated momentarily inside the main restaurant. I believe the first person who took us to our table did not even try to help in a positive way. Our server was very friendly but had too many tables to wait on . The food was good and we had an enjoyable evening with our friends. Just feel the person seating us could have tried to help us and could have had a better attitude.
Night Town is THE place to go with friends - the staff, food, service, ambience make you feel like warm and welcome. It is our favorite go to place in Cleveland!!!!!
The food was very good. We had prime rib and chicken caprese. The server was very attentive.
The clam chowder and wedge salad were outstanding.
Everything was great! Food, service and atmosphere . Grave to return to see all the hanging art in the rooms I missed!
Dining while watching the show. Music was excellent! Perch was recommended but very disappointing. Tasted old.... not the fresh perch of Lake Erie that I was expecting.
From the apps to the corned beef and cabbage....the kitchen at Nighttown is topnotch. Love how the owner visits each table. Such a friendly, enjoyable place and a wonderful menu.
Great as always. No place better to start a St Patricks day off.
We went there for my wife's birthday dinner. The food and drinks were great, as was the service.
The lobster Benedict is amazing!
The food was very good and the music was excellent. The service was probably the worst I ever experienced. The waiter was no where to be seen most of the night and didn't even seem to try or care. I had to go to the bar to get drinks. When the bill came, I gave the waiter my credit care. He never came back until I reminded him. He proceeded to bring me the same bill without my credit card. They lost my credit card. Instead of apologizing, both the waiter and manager made excuses. I have wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time but I won't be returning.
The server was too busy to give appropriate attention for the price that was paid. We had to remind him to bring drinks and bread. It took a long time to bring drinks and appetizers and then the dinners came quick before we finished the appetizers. Also had to ask another server to get him when we wanted to order desert. He didn't leave the check at that point and we waited and waited nearly missing our show for the check to be dropped. He was not very friendly either which could have helped. He was however very friendly and much more attentive to his other tables. Overall the service was very poor for the price of the meals. We won't be back.
Food good but that’s where it ends. Service was very poor: server was very rushed, didn’t fill water glasses, didn’t seem interested, just trying to get to the next table and was at least 10 minutes before he returned for bill after leaving at the table. Returned after a concert for dessert and went downhill from there. Walked into restaurant to see if there was a table, waited 10 minutes at the entrance to dining room and no one asked if I needed help, despite the fact that multiple servers were standing around complaining loudly about an issue a someone’s bill. There was an empty table so we just sat down. We ordered 3 desserts, including a cremee brûlée. The server did say their torch wasnt working and they would try to crisp the top another way. She brought the other 2 desserts. 15-20 minutes later, after the other desserts were done, she brought my dessert which she acknowledged wasn’t done correctly. She did take it off the bill as I declined it. I would not go back
