Tv was turned to max volume so people could hear a political speech. Couldn’t get anyone to bring the manager to our table. People got up from their table to watch without their mask on(COVID violation) Saw manager on our way out of the restaurant. She Was unsympathetic, rude and turned her back on us and walked away. Been coming to Nighttown for decades but will never go back. We wanted to have a quiet peaceful dinner free of all the external problems going on in this country. Didn’t happen.
Patio is warm on a cold November night. Nobody does patio dining like Night Town.
My only go-to place right now! Always a warm and friendly experience!!!
Awful service. It took 1 hour and 35 minutes to get our food and it wasn’t even hot. I will not be going back.
Wonderful evening on the heated patio at Nighttown. Live piano music added to the experience. Food and service were incredible as always.
I felt very safe eating on the patio. NT is following proceedures setup by
Governor and Health Dept. Thanks for providing a lovely and worry free place to ear.
Nighttown has always been the be of our “go to” restaurants. We can always depend on the service, food but most of all they always took care of their customers.
In going out in the current climate we were safe, service and food were excellent but as always they took care of us.
A wonderful intimate time. We cannot wait to return again.
We went for a Sunday brunch. The service was great. The food was delicious. The patio is a really nice place.
Awful service, thought our waitress left for the evening. Food was okay but not anything to boom about. Piano player was great and patio is lovely.
Good food, good service, safely distanced environment.
Wonderful brunch at Nighttown. The Lobster Benedict is to die for. Also enjoyed the omelet of the day.
Staff was friendly and very helpful, especially with a number of great items on the menu. We sat outside on the covered patio and felt completely comfortable and had an excellent dining experience. This was our first time at Nighttown, but we will definitely be back to try some of the other amazing food and drink choices on the menu.
It was great! Food was delicious, service fantastic and the safety precautions during COVID-19 made us feel very safe.
Nighttown always dies a great job. Server was very personable, just a little slow bringing the check.
Love Night Town. Cool electronic check out. Great food. Great service.
Nighttown is a neighborhood favorite. Food and service are dependable. Especially important to us during covid, patio is a protected area whether it’s hot or cool outdoors. Also confidence inspiring that the wait staff is not a bunch of 20-somethings which, in the covid era, always makes me wonder how many friends they hung out with in the past week.
Food was good and service was stellar. Joe was very engaging and attentive. He did a great job celebrating our dad’s 80th birthday. Thank u for making it a great day
Despite construction close by, ambiance was pleasant ... wait staff attentive + patient... we like "all-day menu" which includes our NightTown favorites with some new additions.
Excellent-as always. We are never disappointed at Nighttown
We ate on the patio. The tables were well spaced with notes that they had been cleaned and all servers wore masks. The food is good with a nice range of choices. There are several new items. The new arugula salad (I added salmon) was excellent. My husband and I have been dining at Nighttown for many years and have never been disappointed.
This was our first time going out to eat since the pandemic started. We were completely comfortable being at Nighttown. Everything was spaced out, staff wore masks, sanitizer was available, etc. And the food was amazing as always.
A nice Birthday dinner, for a small group
Nighttown is a fabulous restaurant, staff is great and food is always delicious! Been dining here for many years with the family and Dublin lawyer is still my favorite dish.
Nice evening with great service!
The waitress was not friendly and the chicken was burnt.
This is by far one of our favorite restaurants. The food is good and the owner, Brandon, sets a very high standard.
As usual, Nighttown was terrific! There patio is peaceful and the food is fantastic!
As an annual visitor to Cleveland, some years twice, since 1980, I had dined at Nighttown at least once per year until the death of my mother-in-law in 2008. My wife and I returned for a visit last week and one of the first items on our to-do list was dinner at NT. It is one my favorite restaurants in Cleveland, and anywhere. Our experience was of course limited by the COVID situation. So not much of the ol' NT ambiance to bask in but the staff was absolutely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious as always.
The service was awesome, we asked to be seated inside because of the heat. We had a room to ourselves (which was great) I was slightly concerned that we would be forgotten but we were not, the staff did a great job of checking in on us!
It was my first time dining at Nighttown, and I will definitely be back.
We went to lunch after a visit at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. We ate on the outside patio which was very large and tables were nicely spread out. Food was very good and our waitress was excellent. Highly recommend the Dublin Lawyer. The waitress was super busy but took out the time to talk with us and was very efficient. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be going back!
Sat in patio area
Every staff member was masked, tables were marked if they had not been cleaned yet, checks were delivered in short glasses so there was minimal handling and the food was delicious-walleye sandwiches and grill and green salad.
The only issue was the noise and it really couldn’t have been avoided. It was very hot and humid and the fans had to run at full speed.
So happy to be back!
Always a favorite. Never disappoints. Love the patio.
My favorite restaurant meal is Dublin Lawyer. Unfortunately, it didn't measure up to its usual standards. The Ceasar salad was a disappointment, Romain with dressing drizzled over, Not up to their usual excellence.
Wonderful time as always. All safety protocols were in place. We felt very safe. Service was excellent as was the food
We're so glad Nighttown is back! Loved the arugula salad (although missing the Asian salad from before). Glad to see all the sanitizing. Will be back soon.
Always a great experience. Love the food, the staff, everything. Let’s support Nighttown!
Sat outside on patio. Nice overhead light filter. Tables are too small for “ social distancing” as it was a square four-top and we had four people. Food was average, nothing special but the service was excellent and very appropriate
We were there at the re-opening, dining on the patio (as we are only doing patio dining at present). The wait staff was well-prepared; food and wine were served on time. Various sanitizing/social distancing measures were all in place. (including the interior, which we walked through on our way out). We ordered long time favorites: house salad, Dublin Lawyer and trout amandine, and all were excellent.
There are also some new, intriguing items on the menu.
So happy to see them reopen as it is our favorite neighborhood place, we often take a walk and sit at the bar to have a glass of wine and/or dessert.
Miss the music, but owner Brendan says they will soon be experimenting with smaller, local groups. Wanted to see how dining-only was going before taking a next step.
My neighbor and I were fortunate enough to enjoy cocktails and cheesecake at their bar on Saturday, March 14, just before Ohio Governor Dewine issued statewide orders closing bars and dine-in establishments by 9pm on Sunday, March 15th. The staff was upbeat, and very gracious despite the uncertainty caused by the world-wide Covid-19 pandemic. We will certainly return to support Nighttown and owner Brendan Ring when they re-open, so we can have the delicious Lamb Lollipops, Grill & Greens salad, New York cheesecake, complete with a glass of Grand Marnier on-the-rocks!
