   Nightingale is an absolute gem in downtown Vancouver. The atmosphere is vibrant and stylish, perfect for any occasion. Every dish we tried was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. Don’t miss the baked Japanese sweet potato or the salted caramel pot de crème! One of the best dining experiences in the city!

   Great venue, great food & cocktails - very weird service style. Was served kale salad then waited an age, served pizzas before vegetable sides, very odd way to expedite. Been in Vancouver 5 nights and most aloof serving staff, not unnecessarily unfriendly but too cool for school as if they really didn’t want to be serving you or working at all.

   Lovely dinner at Nightingale. Service was professional and friendly at the same time, and atmosphere was amazing. We tried many dishes – the pepperoni pizza was otherworldly, but also the branzino, spaghetti with the nova scotia lobster, and cauliflower hummus with fofe sourdough were amazing. We also ordered the most popular item, the buttermilk fried chicken, as well as the braised meatballs, but we thought that the other items were better. Beers were cold and desserts were great. Would absolutely recommend for any celebration.

   Our server (Kevan?) was perfect for us. He got our food in right away (as we were super hungry) and provided a great experience. He was personable and genuine. Thanks for the excellent dining experience!

   I really enjoyed the gnocco frito and the 100-layer lasagna: both dishes had wonderful flavours and were made with quality Italian ingredients. The opera cake I had for dessert was quite salty, and the texture of the buttercream was a bit too buttery for my liking.

   I visited the restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. When they asked about allergies, I informed them that my daughter has a nut allergy, but when the food was served, they did not double-check, nor did they provide any explanation about the dishes. Our server was unfriendly, and even though we mentioned it was our first visit, she didn’t ask about the steak’s doneness. After placing the order, I tried to mention how we would like the steak cooked, but she said we couldn’t choose the doneness. Later, I found out that it was written very small at the bottom of the menu. Also, although I had mentioned during the reservation that it was my daughter’s birthday, no one acknowledged it. The food was average, but the service was terrible.

    One of my fav spots for a business lunch downtown. Food is exceptional, service is always hospitable. It's always a great vibe.
