   Server was difficult to flag down. When I asked her to check on one of the guest’s main courses, since the others were half way done eating theirs; her answer, “it will come when we it’s ready!” WOW

   The food quality was fantastic and really made for a nice celebration dinner for my cousin who doesn't live in the loaer mainland. Dirty Martini wasn't great though. So I'd work on that. Not cold enough and the flavour was meh.

   Amazing dinner for my husbands 29th birthday. Highly recommend sitting at the chefs table. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails/wine. Service was also very attentive - a great experience

   My friend and I arrived for late lunch at 2pm. Servers were professional and courteous. We shared squash, brussels, yams, and sirloin. It was plenty of food. Each dish had impeccable flavour profiles and thoughtfully created.

   Food was very average! I definitely think something has changed as we had been to Nightingale many times! Both waitresses were very robotic, barely had a smile and were there just for the sake of being there. Steak was rare and no one told us that thats the only way the restaurant prepares it- no modifications. We didnt end up having it as it was blue, they took it off our bill but usually if a steak is only cooked 1 way, the restaurant should inform!

   Nightingale is one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver, I did find that it seemed disorganized last night though. For the period of time we were there, food that was not ordered by our table got dropped off twice by two different servers. And for our cocktails they were just okay compared to other experiences we have had there previously. For a restaurant that prides itself on its sharing foods, and ever changing cocktail list, I wasn’t wowed by the new flavours at all. We did stick to some of the classic dishes and we are always happy with those! We were also there to celebrate a birthday, specifically the bday person chose this restaurant and it was acknowledged with “happy birthday” and that was it - a dessert or something would have nice. We will be back and hope that some of these wrinkles are ironed out as Nightingale has always had so much potential.
