Great place for brunch - lots of different choices
Everything was excellent: servers, food, ambience and the regular pouring of bottomless mimosas.
Waited about almost 45 for the food to come out. Food was OK. Atmosphere was great. The bottomless mimosa was good. The person service the mimosa was fairly nice and would refill our cups as soon as it's empty. However, she mentioned to our table that if she sees us slamming down our mimosas she would not come to get refilled.
Great drinks and excellent service. Their gimlets are ~fabulous~. Went to brunch most recently, and the freeflow mimosas came fast and frequently. Decent quality, especially for $10. Food was distinctly mediocre - all 3 of us thought our meals were a bit on the small side, did some unnecessary reinterpretation of brunch foods and I had to send my meal back (terrible pork belly). BUT, the service throughout was top notch and my replacement meal came quickly and with some wonderfully seasoned bacon. Maybe they have specialties we didn't know about.
Bottom line: if you brunch here when you're thirsty and don't need a big meal, you'll be pleased
Salmon was delicious! 2 meals and 2 glasses of wine with fries to start was $110 so definitely not cheap but the food was good,
Food was fantastic, expect smaller plates. Beautifully decorated, ambiance was great.
It was a lovely date night spot
Nightingale is our go-to restaurant as we live in the neighborhood... and after a while, it's just like... why mess around when we can go to someplace that is always great, the food is great, drinks are wonderful and service is friendly and perfect. They make it too easy.
Great food, service and ambiance! And allow for reservations!
Nightingale is one of our favorite places to go and they were so kind to us on this night while we were also working. Can't wait to return! :)
Loved the oysters, cheese plater w the awesome blue cheese and the seafood gumbo. Scallops were relishes. Our waiter was also very attentive.
I never saw the bottom of my mimosa and the smoked pork shoulder was fantastic.
We arrived a 6pm on a Friday and it was already crowded, so I recommend reservations. We were seated quickly and green olives were set down as an aperitif. I normally don't like green olives, but they were tasty. We ordered the cheese plate which consisted of 3 cheeses and apple sauce. I had never had cheese and apple sauce, but it was amazingly yummy. I ordered the cannelloni and my date ordered the hanger steak. The cannelloni was very good and filling. Neither of us liked the mint sauce on an otherwise excellent steak. We scraped as much off as we could. The wait staff was very attentive and the water service was amazing. Over all we were happy with Nightingale and would go back again.
Excellent food, cocktails and service. My favorite restaurant in Mpls.
Restaurant was closed when we arrived
Everything was really enjoyable until our mussels arrived and were in poor shape. :/ We'll skip the Mussels and frites next time and I'd suggest you all skip that entree option, also!
Great brunch as always. Love the DJ spinning vinyl old school tracks.
While the quality of the ingredients was good, the flavors were never quite right. The ribs were too sweet and the brussel sprouts boiled in texture and bland in flavor. The potatoes under the Tartare were undercooked and smothered in mayonnaise and the beef itself devoid of character.
A bad night or a strange palate. Not sure if it is worth repeating.
The burger, however, was just right.
It was fine. Everything was just fine. The menu looked great but the overall experience was...fine. There are many more interesting and delicious dinner spots in Minneapolis.
New Years Eve Dinner. Great start for the evening. Will be back!
My wife and I love Nightingale! It's a cool, smaller establishment that feels very comfortable to us. Our server was knowledgeable when it came to drinks and food recommendations. The raw oysters were varied and fresh, the steak was tender and flavorful, and the crab pasta was tasty and interesting.
We have already made our reservation for Valentine's Day!
Nightingale is a local favorite and almost never disappoints. They offer two happy hours, with some great drink and appetizer specials.
One feels well looked-after at Nightingale. Welcomed. In good hands. The room has an solidly good vibe. The vegetarian in our group found more items on the menu than he could actually order/eat in one visit...and raved even days later about the cauliflower bruschetta ... best place he’s ever eaten in Minneapolis.
Service once we were seated was great. When we got there, we waited about 10 minutes before the host came over. We had reservations at 1230 and did not get seated until 1240. Would recommend better management of host station.
We had a delightful dinner. The food and service was outstanding
Brunch is great. With all the inflation finding 10$ bottomless mimosas is getting harder to find. However. Kinda loud af
We met four friends at the Nightingale and chose it because of an article that said you could have a conversation there without the noise level being a problem. It was great. We really enjoyed our table and the food. The service was wonderful from the hostess to the wait staff. We would definitely come back.
Delicious French Toast and Bottomless mimosas were great; the server came by only once to check in on us and top off our mimosas other than that; we need to flag someone down if we needed anything. Good food disappointing service!
We all enjoyed our meals and the thoughtfully crafted cocktails. Our server was very attentive and good at reading the energy at the table.
Great meal, service and beer list
Great ambiance for drinks, we didn’t get food so no rating there
Nice ambiance. Very interesting food, well presented and delicious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only improvement would be if it could be a bit quieter it would be easier to talk.
As always, great food and drinks in my favorite neighborhood!
All four of us commented on the amazing service. I plan to contact the restaurant to let them know...it was that ideal.
Very cute space with a good vibe and nice ambiance. The server was prompt and friendly and was sensitive to our need to be on a schedule. Overall quite enjoyed our meal as well, although my brother was only moderately impressed by his pasta dish with mushrooms. I had the squid ink pasta and an arugula salad both of which were tasty. I appreciated that nothing was overly salty. The chocolate pot de creme for dessert was heavenly.
My husband had a seafood chowder or gumbo, he said it was good. I mistakenly bought a cheeseburger and the meat was bland. It's rare that these "designer" hamburgers are good so I don't know why I tried it. The fries were crisp though. The maple carrots were very sweet and only lukewarm. I think he liked his oysters too. It was a little pricey for the quality of food served.
Excellent all around experience, as usual.
We went came to celebrate a birthday. Overall everything was good until the server said “ I’M NOT SURE WHAT YOUR PLANS ARE BUT WE NEED THIS TABLE FOR ANOTHER RESERVATION!” and walked away. We were there for 90 minutes. We finished our meal about 10 prior to him saying this! Is this the policy? I won’t go back there.
Love it here! Awesome service, love the ambiance and the food is bomb!
Food and service were excellent .Noise level of music way too high.Domt understand the need for a disc jockey!
