Nic's On Beverly
Nic’s is founded by a collective of creatives, who run L.A.’s hottest dining destinations and iconic culinary and music festivals, who set out to give Angelenos and visitors alike a great restaurant--that just happens to be plant-based
Nic’s is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Beverly Blvd. that provides an easy environment to work remotely. Serving up lunch items such as wood fired Detroit style pizza, a farro and quinoa bowl, & the Chinois on Beverly salad, a play on a Chinese chicken salad. In the evening, the restaurant is a perfect hideaway to converse over drinks at the bar, which features a must-try cocktail list by Jason Eisner & an exciting wine list curated by Rajat Paar.

Horrific service and the food was not much better. There is honestly nothing redeeming about this place and after telling a friend I was here, they shared the same sentiment. Don't bother...there are better places to dine in LA.
Late to be sat, hurried off table after only an hour. Food mediocre, service was attentive. Just because it’s all vegan, doesn’t mean it is instantly amazing. Sadly this was a highly overrated experience. I won’t be back.
French Owner was rude & dismissive when asked for menus & if they had blankets or additional heaters because my elderly mother was cold. Kept literally turning his back on me. Place was near empty & waiter kept disappearing for endless lengths of time. One of our parties mocktails took almost 15mins longer than the rest of our cocktails. Def dampened our experience compared to the first time we came when our visit was excellent all around.
While the food was pretty good, the service was horrendous. They ran out of menus so we sat at the table for half an hour before we could even look at the menu. Wr did not have a consistent waiter - someone different came to out table to take our order, drop food off, check on us, etc. One of the employees was super combative when we asked for menus, he wanted to force to order cocktails before he’d give us food menus. We told him my friend was allergic to nuts and he had a horrible attitude about it. We finally got our menus and then it took even longer to order. No one came to check on us after we got the food. We wanted to like this place! But we won’t return based on this service.
The food was not timed well. The appetizer never came. The dessert tasted like play dough. They couldn’t time after dinner coffee with dessert (coffee came ten minutes before dessert). It was thoroughly disappointing.
Always a pleasure to dine at Nics. A little oasis in the city. Great food and awesome drinks. Save room for dessert.
We went there for my daughters birthday and we loved it! There was 5 of us so we were able to try a good variety of the menu and there was not one thing that wasn’t amazing. Great chef, great ambiance, and great service. We will be back again and again!
I had an amazing birthday brunch here! Can’t wait to go again. ❤️💕🌈
food was very average. service was poor. drinks we ordered when we sat down came towards the end of our meal! should have been much better. too bad. vegan restaurants can't afford to be bad. they shouldn't give meat eaters more reasons to hate us...
Food was excellent, as always. We ate on the patio, which is very nice, but at 50 degrees they need a better outdoor heating system.
Had a 6:45 reservation for 7 people, but table wasn’t ready for 1/2 hour. Not a huge deal, but they could have comped a drink or an entree. It’s just good customer relations.
Nic's has become incredibly busy on the weekends! It's no wonder, the food is creative and delicious! You'd never miss not having meat there! While I'm thrilled for their success, I think they need to hire more help. At times the staff seems to be overloaded and challenging to catch. But they do their best, and are always professional. The other drawback with the busy scene is the noise level. It gets so noisy that it's difficult at times to carry on a conversation without shouting, which further adds to the noise, all the while competing with the background music that's playing. Regardless, Nic's is a great place to go for a nice evening out. It's wonderful to have fine plant-based dining that's not all seitan and tofu nearby!
We dined there 2 nights in a row and tried many wonderful creations from the menu. Nic’s on Beverly is OUTSTANDING!!!!
Everyone’s so personable, especially the wine specialist!
We can’t wait to come back for another fabulous evening of fun and fantastic cuisine!!!!!
I absolutely loved the food and thought it was a lovely place! Ambiance was nice and the menu was perfect. The only thing is their outdoor heaters don’t work very well so everyone was freezing sitting outside-I would suggest sitting indoors. I bet it’s beautiful there in the summer!
Nic’s Has been my go to place for meeting with family and friends. I know I can always count on the food the quality of service. I have a new favorite it’s the beet salad can’t wait to go back I’m already craving it. However there is a new burger and french fries it is so delicious I had to order it there goes my diet!
Everything g about Nic’s is divine! The food is fantastic, the space is stunning and the service wonderful! Go!!!
Love love love and you know it's healthy (except for the few fried items) so you enjoy scrumptious food guilt free
Great service and ambiance. We are thrilled that it is all vegan. The menu options were inventive. But we tried about 8 items off the menu and all ended up being deep fried and/or extremely oily so everything sort of ends up tasting the same. It would be incredible if the chef could cut out some of the oil and deep frying and allow the incredible flavors of the beautiful produce and spices to shine through. We had a pumpkin cheese cake with Persimmon, pomegranate seeds and a creme brûlée whip cream that was beautiful.
Went and hit up the happy hour for my birthday before a show at the comedy store. Was happy to bring along 6 friends for the first time, and they all were blown away and had a great time. The drinks took a bit long and were a little on the strong side, I wish they had more options of house cocktails. Maybe rotate them. Overall a fantastic time.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly service. A must for vegans!
New Years Eve dinner. Great food, a tad loud, but it was New Years Eve, so that’s to be expected.
Love love love love love love love love love love love love love
Nic’s never ever disappoints! They have the BEST vegan food in the city! Just hoping they add those brussel sprouts to the menu!
Amazing ambiance, experience, food, and service. Best in class!
Nic’s has become my go to plant-based restaurant! Lovely environment and friendly service. My top menu picks include the avocado crispy rice, the mushroom pizza, the gnocchi and the perogies. So many great choices! They are especially good at pasta and their salads are light and delicious. Try the Frose! Excited to return!
Wonderful food and service. Amazing deserts . We will definitely come back.
I was there Christmas Eve, everything was amazing, food, decor, presentation. Our server was Meghan she was awesome! Everyone was super friendly. Definitely coming back.
The food was great but the wait, service and sitting outside in the cold even when I reserved makes it a disappointing experience. We also waited an additional 30minutes After we placed our order and then our waitress came back and told us they don’t have pizza dough so we can’t order the pizza.
Best restaurant anywhere. Food and Drinks are outstanding as is the service. The place was packed and yet the noise was comfortable. We will be back!
we had a great solstice dinner for our little vegan family
everyone was thrilled
Good food however small bites fir big prices
Loved Caleb our server!! Drinks were delicious and food was amazing!
The food is so good!
Food and flavors were good, but portion sizes seemed to be on the small side and not many options to choose from. For the price, I expected a bit more on the plate. I had the beet salad, my husband ordered the curry, friends got pasta dishes and we ended up having to order a pizza to share as well. The pizza was 90% bread. The service was standard, nothing outstanding, but what stood out to me the most was how incredibly noisy the restaurant was. I had to yell across the table to speak to friends sitting with us and ended the night with a sore throat. If that was a Wednesday night, I imagine the weekend would be even more boisterous. Not a place to come for dinner and a conversation.
Leuk restaurant met voldoende smaakvolle opties op de kaart. Vriendelijke bediening en door dit alles een prima locatie om samen wat te eten. Kom zeker eens terug om iets anders te bestellen en hen nog beter te kunnen beoordelen
Fabulous vegan dining. The patio is lovely
Service was lame. The brought out the red curry with no rice and on explanation until I asked and they said the rice was still cooking and be brought out when it’s done!!!?? I mean.... really ???? So we were starving and ate the red curry sans rice cos it wasn’t ready til the end of our meal ... smh... not going back except for happy hour at bar. Super lame service and no apologies or items no right out to compensate for this total unprofessionalism #byyyyyyeeee

Our new favorite local spot
The best vegan food in LA!!! Love the pizza especially
There are some incredibly good and addictive items on the menu. The Detroit style pizza, eggplant pasta, falafel burgers and their version of fries are just a few. Omg and the beet salad! All vegan all amazing!
It was a cold evening so we ate inside, I would have liked to experience the beautiful outdoor area but I will leave that for another visit. The black bean gyoza was terrific, as were the falafel sliders. I did not care for the tacos at all and the porcini mushroom pizza was way too salty for my taste. Service was uneventful. I would return for another visit and try new things.
