Nic's On Beverly
Nic’s is founded by a collective of creatives, who run L.A.’s hottest dining destinations and iconic culinary and music festivals, who set out to give Angelenos and visitors alike a great restaurant--that just happens to be plant-based.
Nic’s is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Beverly Blvd. that provides an easy environment to work remotely. Serving up lunch items such as wood fired Detroit style pizza, a farro and quinoa bowl, and the Chinois on Beverly salad, a play on a Chinese chicken salad. In the evening, the restaurant is a perfect hideaway to converse over drinks at the bar, which features a must-try cocktail list by Jason Eisner & an exciting wine list curated by Rajat Paar.

Our new favorite local spot
The best vegan food in LA!!! Love the pizza especially
There are some incredibly good and addictive items on the menu. The Detroit style pizza, eggplant pasta, falafel burgers and their version of fries are just a few. Omg and the beet salad! All vegan all amazing!
It was a cold evening so we ate inside, I would have liked to experience the beautiful outdoor area but I will leave that for another visit. The black bean gyoza was terrific, as were the falafel sliders. I did not care for the tacos at all and the porcini mushroom pizza was way too salty for my taste. Service was uneventful. I would return for another visit and try new things.
We brought a large party (14 total) for a birthday and the food was phenomenal! Servings are larger perfect for sharing. Our non-vegan friends enjoyed everything and it was fun to try somethings veganized that I have not had since going vegan like the Pierogi! The service was slow and the restaurant seemed overwhelmed when we needed to turn our party of 12 into a party of 14 which was disappointing. Small things like checking in to make sure guests water glasses weren’t empty would have been nice but it must have just been an off night. We came earlier for brunch to check out the restaurant and service was beyond great! We will come back!
Would have been a perfect night if we weren’t seated at 7:10pm instead of 6:30pm per our reservation. Our server was great as was the food, once we finally got our table.
Most beautiful patio of any restaurant in LA
Great food with great and numerous choices, something rare in vegan destinations
Love this place!! . Food is amazing.
They left me and my guest waiting at the table far to long, there were only 4 other dining parties in the whole restaurant, I left out of disappointment and went to Yardbird.
Pricey but worth it for the amazing tastiness and ambiance
Attentive and kind and courteous staff!
Very accommodating and patient.
We shall return!
Amazing food. Went for an early dinner and had all 5 happy hour dishes. The food was amazing and the ambiance was matching.
The food was yummy, the place itself is beautiful. The service was great. And the drinks...outstanding
I love this restaurant so much. The energy is so positive. The food quality is above outstanding, and every dish is so satisfying. The servers here always go above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. I have already eaten here 3 times in the past couple months and I always want to go back. It's awesome and rare to find a restaurant that stays consistent with food quality and service.
Worst plant based food I’ve had in a long time
Very glad to have a classy vegan restaurant nearby. The atmosphere is upscale, the staff friendly, and the food very creative and flavorful. I'd imagine though, that those who are used to typical vegan restaurants may find the portion size too small and the price too high. We still have our hungry-days vegan restaurants to go to, but when we are in the mood for a fine dining experience, Nic's On Beverly is our go-to place.
Been away by how good it was. From the green beans, to the tacos, and the pizza. What wonderful flavors. The patio is magical, too.
Very nice vegetarian restaurant. Lots of yummy choices. Lovely garden seating available as well.
This location has had a high restaurant turn over the last few years and it’s a shame because it’s a beautiful space!
Nic’s was good...the highlight was def the service....
Cocktails were good, beer selection was ok....seemed to have limited wines by the glass even though it has a beautiful wine room.l and a legend bar.
Food was good-not the best I’ve ever had but great variety, specials and portions and prices were great.....they said things were family style, and they serve it that way but the portions were definitely doable if if you just wanted your own dish
Decor was gorgeous-still a little confusing how to get in....back ally patio or via the Beverly entrance door. We took the Beverly door and while staff was friendly, no one really directed us to the host stand in essentially the middle of the restaurant. So we awkwardly walked through looking for someone to greet us.
Room for improvement but off to a good start
Everything was good.. We sat inside but I also love the patio courtyard.
Great! But kitchen started to close around 9:30 which would have been nice to know. Considering they close at 10
Great place. Service excellent. Staff warm and friendly
Excellent vegan dishes that you would never know were vegan but for the menu description, served in a beautiful patio garden.
one of my favorite LA restaurants. don't have to be vegan to dine here, it's delicious!!
Everything was great except for the service. Took very long to greet us. 15-20 minutes just to get our first introduction to the waiter. Had to ask another gentleman to get us help.
Food was fair. Pizza was salty. 1 out of the three dishes ordered was good, the rest was mediocre. The wine selection was good.
I’m vegan and really wanted to LOVE this place, but unfortunately it fell a bit flat. My friend and I had a celebratory dinner and knew it was going to be a bit pricy, but ultimately we didn’t think it was worth the expensive prices. We sat outside in the cute patio, however there was a guy fixing the heater next to me about 50% of the meal. Literally right next to me while I ate, why couldn’t you have moved the heater into the corner and worked? 2 of the 3 items we ordered were good, was not a huge fan of the balsamic pizza. It was basically like a big piece of bread with a few bits of vegan but cheese on top. The portions are very small, so even after a salad and pierogies, my friend and I were still super hungry so ate part of the pizza simply for sustenance. For the same price, I would have rather gone to Matthew Kenney’s Double Zero or Crossroads Kitchen. This just wasn’t the lovely dining experience I thought we’d get. Happy to have another vegan restaurant in LA, but would rather take my money to another restaurant where I know I’ll absolutely love all the food!
Absolutely amazing! Been here already thrice and can’t wait to keep coming back!
Amazing food. Wendy was an amazing waitress. We will go back very soon.
Yum yum yum yum yum yum
Our meals were very good. Service was ok, not amazing. It was super loud in the front room. Weird vibe too. We asked to be moved to the back, but we were told the tables reserved there are for individuals with dogs. I had no idea that was even an option. But there were quite a few tables where individuals did bring their dogs. It was disappointing because in addition to it being very loud, I had a friend with me who already struggles with hearing. We love dogs though; so, we were pretty understanding.
Also, there were three desserts on the menu - two of the three were not available.
Not sure I would return for those kind of prices. Would much rather Little Pine or Gratitude.
Food was good but the service was terrible. They brought the salad last, after we’d eaten all our other dishes. Then the dessert took over 30 mins.
The food was very tasty. I knew it was vegetarian but didn't realize it was vegan until we were there. It does achieve the goal of providing delicious food irrelevant of it being vegan. That said cashew cheese doesn't taste much like real cheese, sorry. However it was very good and I would happily go back again anytime. The server was great.
Service was extremely slow and disorganized ...not good !
Sooooo yummy. Can’t wait to go back
Got ghosted after the date - so you be the judge
OMG elegant vegans rejoice! Nic's has arrived on the scene, with a gorgeous upscale casual room, green and cool patio, attentive staff, and impressive menu of vegan foods from simple and clean to elegant and complex. Admittedly the price point stuns for some of the complicated entrees, but there's a lovely mix of things for every vegan appetite, and a great happy hour menu for some light tasting. Soft tacos and dumplings - we've seen it before but they were delicious and satisfying, especially at happy hour prices. The light-fried maiyake (sp?) mushrooms - a total killer and must-have as we will return again and again just for that plate. But the showstopper - an eggplant Bolognese over gnocchi with cashew ricotta that was perhaps the best vegan dish I've had in my long life. The drink list has a sense of humor, and the vibe rivals its neighbors. The service couldn't be friendlier and more attentive. This - with Gracias Madre - makes the WeHo plant-based scene even stronger. Poor Crossroads might have to glo-up to compete.
I’ve been a vegan for a decade, lived in LA for 13 years, and been to every single vegan restaurant. This is, by far, the best food I’ve had. Literally. The pizza, the fries, the gnocchetti, Caesar salad, FRENCH ONION SOUP (OMG), avocado tacos, etc... all AMAZING! And the portions are perfect for the price. I’ve been to C-Roads where the portions are ridiculously small for the price.
I would recommend, but for what the food is and the portion size, it’s a bit expensive.
