Nicoli's Grill & Sports Bar is found in Lake Oswego, Oregon and serves up more than great food and drinks, although both are definitely on the menu. You can enjoy sports games on big screens while you dine or participate in the many games available at this establishment. Nicoli's Grill & Sports Bar offers bowling, arcade games and so much more.
Those who enjoy games and sports will appreciate the bowling, arcade, corn hole, bocce ball and shuffleboard available for patrons. As far as the food goes at Nicoli's Grill & Sports Bar, there are tons of great options. Try a plate of nachos for an appetizer or enjoy a basket of tots, hot out of the fryer. Burgers, sandwiches, pizza and more are also great options.
When we got there and checked in the staff seemed very confused that we had reservations. There was NO need for reservations as it is a seat yourself kind of place and you only need reservations if it is busy or you have a large group. Service was a bit disappointing It took over an hour and a half for us for to be seated, order taken and served. We had to place our drink order three times before we got it. The food was ok, spendy but just ok. My daughter was disappointed in her cheese quesadilla (which I didn't think was possible it's only cheese and a tortilla). I ordered the Maple burger with caramelized onions but was served red onions and I never could taste maple. I don't think we will be going back.
This is a Great place to watch the Playoffs while having a fantastic meal.
My last visit here was much better than the previous, being the service has improved with the knowledge of orders and great smiles every step.
I made a reservation for the first playoff game for the Portland Winterhawks and they said that they didn't recall my reservation. It seems that they located it, so that is good. It was great to watch the game with other fans and they had plenty of large screens for easy viewing.
I think that they may have been under staffed but overall good service, good food. I will be going back for another away game viewing.
It sucks for dinner unless your taking a bunch of kids to a party
We had a group of 15 or 16 people and had a very good time, the food and bar service was very good and all of the food items that I tried ( Pizza and the Fish & Chips) were really good..We did plan the event on a night that there was league bowling so it did get a little crowded by the time we needed to leave. I have only had one event there since it has changed hands but it seems like the changes they have made have been positive.
We had a great time at Nicolis. Last minute birthday party for my daughter that turned out better than I could've imagined. The service was outstanding! I called the day prior to talk about reserving a table with a woman and she went out of her way to make sure everything was set up and special for the birthday! We would definitely recommend this establishment to friends and be back again. Thank you!
We had pizza that was good and very large along with a huge plate of nachos that were very good along with drinks for lunch one Sunday. We bowled two games the place is great for families that want to have fun they have a small arcade that the kids love we will be back.
No need for a reservation. Place was empty yet service was slow and I still had to search out help for more water.
Took a group of friends with kids to GameTime last Saturday. There were plenty of seats available for our large group, great menu, and it was safe to let the kids run and play in the arcade while we ate and socialized. The only negative was they assigned one server to us and we had about 20 people. Other than that, the food was good, the kids meals were reasonable ($5) and came with a frozen yogurt sundae bar! Noise level was high due to kids running around, arcade, and bowling in the background, but that was to be expected (Just FYI).
They didn't have the Open Table reservation that I made early that morning?!?!? Had it been busy we would not have gotten a bowling lane. As it turned out they were able to accommodate us and took excellent care of us, even offering a free dessert of self-serve frozen yogurt with toppings. I have heard of lots of problems with Open Table reservations and I will call the restaurant directly from now on and not use Open Table. GameTime was lots of fun and the food was better than most bowling places plus the servers were attentive.
We had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday there as a family. The food service was a little slow for the younger kid, but they had a nice toddler play area.
