Dagli editor di OpenTable: Lyon-born chef Nico Romo is the youngest-ever US member of The French Culinary Academy, and his flair for French cuisine shows in the top-notch dishes at this cheery indoor-outdoor seafood bistro. Think wood-fired escargots with Provençal butter and flounder meunière. Of course, it being an oyster destination, raw-bar fanatics have plenty of platters and preparations to choose from, as well. Round it out with a glass of sparkling, white, or rosé from the French-leaning wine list.

The food is always delicious at NICO’s and the service is great! We love this restaurant! Our server Callie, was wonderful. Parking is usually challenging (public garage is across the street tho) and we sat inside this time, where it’s so loud, it’s hard to hear the conversation. But we will be back soon!

The portions were small for what you get. Of the 7 ladies at the table only 3 were pleased with their dish. When I got home I had to eat a sandwich because I was still hungry! Our server, Erin, was great!

We loved the feel of this place. Our server/bar tender was friendly and well versed with celiac and gluten free options. My husband an it had oyster, shrimp, the octopus, escargot and the bouillonaise (?). Loved it all!
