Always exceptional service and food- All their vegetarian dishes are amazing, they also custom made pasta and two other dishes to be vegetarian. The cocktails are fantastic, especially “but nothing is lost”. Great for groups, business meals, date or casual dining. I’ve been here 4+ times now with my guests and I’ve never been disappointed, the quality is consistent. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The portions are great and quality of food is great. Highly recommended and kudos to the chef!
Online reviews are misleading. The drinks were very watery :(. We did enjoy the Tuna tacos, but the crab cake salad was very bland. The ambiance of this place is also so so. We would not recommend this place.
Mixed bag. I had the eggs royal. Tasty but very salty and one egg was over cooked. My partner had the French toasty go good reviews. Service was tragic. It took 10 minutes to get out drink order. We ordered soda so the food coming out before sodas speaks for itself. Pour server’s people skills were lacking. Cute place. Very hipster in finishes and patterns. After an exchange with management, it definitely falls into the no list.

This restaurant is a complete GEM! We wanted somewhere nice to have our Valentine's day brunch and I am so so happy that we chose Nick's. From the very beginning, the look, feel and just general vibe of this place is cosy yet a little fancy (If that makes any sense). The service was great, our server, although I don't remember her name, was very sweet and attentive. but the FOOD! So delicious! I had the Crab Benedict, hubby got the Croque Madame and we also shared the apple French toast. Just wow! We each had a cocktail; I had the French 75 and hubby had the Bold Fashioned ( I think that's what it was called). I DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice romantic date, hang out with friends or family.
We arrived at five til 8 for our 8 pm reservation to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We were seated immediately. It’s lovely inside. Tables weren’t spaced out as much as I had expected or hoped. Pretty much standard spacing. We sat for 14 minutes before anyone even came over to say hello, so we didn’t have water or chance to order wine. When we finally did get a server, he was lovely but it was all just slow. Wine was ok - small selection by the glass - and our goat cheese fritter appetizer was excellent. The service remained slow all night - our waters were empty and our wine was as well - we would have ordered another glass each ($30 more for the bill) and yet never had a chance. Dinner was meh. I ordered the sunchoke and truffle risotto and it was very average. Plain, risotto was not cooked well, not much flavor - and clearly not enough oomph to be a main dish. Luckily we ordered the Brussels sprouts for a side - so sadly that’s pretty much what I ate. They were out of the pork ragi black garlic fetucinni, so my husband had to order swordfish. His was delicious. The dessert menu was just ok, so we paid and left. The service was soooo slow the entire time, and he never seemed to realize or acknowledge it at all. For $110 plus tip, it was a very average dinner. We won’t go back.
I really wanted to like this restaurant as I had heard good things but it took nearly an hour to get our main dishes. My wife's fish came out raw and the manager was happy to return it and bring her another. Unfortunately, the second piece came out raw as well. It was a busy night and the manager was kind, but it was just an off night.
Slow bar service, slow water service, slow clearing service... and who runs out of ketchup? Swordfish main course is the size of an appetizer, however fried chicken is enough for two people. Trying too hard to be like JCT Kitchen. It has the makings to be a beautiful restaurant, but far to come to make up for the lack of service.
The food was excellent I’ve been here several times and will continue to come back. I was disappointed that there was not the chef’s special and wine pairing that the chef sometimes prepares but I will be back to enjoy it on another night
We went on Saturday 2/13 early (6:30 pm) and sat in the high tops for the supposed-to-be-delicious bouillabaisse we read about in Atlanta magazine. The waiter told us it was not available because of the holiday? (he wasn't sure) but if that's the case that's nuts. That's why we went - to spend our holiday dinner at a nice place. It wasn't even busy and if that's your specialty then it should especially be available on a special night. So we ordered the root vegetable pot pie which was terrible - the roots included turnips which were bitter and the broth was uninspired. I could only eat the crust and about 5% of it but the water never asked if anything was wrong. That's because he barely stopped by. My husband's brisket sandwich was weird too - he didn't like the texture or flavor. The waiter was mostly unfriendly - explained nothing, checked on us once early after the dish was brought but never came back again for 30 minutes and made us wait 10 minutes for the check long after it was clear we were done. We'll never be back.
First time visiting Nick's Westside and had an overall good experience. I'm unsure if this restaurant is new (I had never heard of it) but the service wasn't great- it was a little slow and they were understaffed, as if it had just opened. Still, the ambiance was wonderful and very pretty. The food came out quickly and did not disappoint. I will certainly return next time.
The menu is great. Lots of selection. The appetizers and entrées were good, but the desserts, and we had three out of the four options, we’re all subpar.
One of the best burgers And flatbreads I have ever heard. Everything we ordered was perfect from start to finish.
The food was flavorful, they definitely have an amazing cook!
The ringing of the bell by the chef was extremely annoying
Valentines brunch was amazing, we reserved the private room so our kids could be mask free, while we were worry free. Brunch was GREAT, the staff was accommodating & delightful. Can’t wait to go back!
Food was very very good. Atmosphere not great. Too bright. A bit unattentve in the service
Food was great. Heated outdoor patio was not heated- their propane flames are enclosed so they look good but don’t generate any heat.
The space was very pretty. The food was pretty bad. Worse biscuits I’ve ever had and the Kale Ceasar was inedible. Horrible value.
Great, quiet spot. Great bartenders are always up to the challenge of crafting one-off creations.
Nick's Westside was great! We sat outside on the patio. They had the heaters going and even brought us a new propane tank. I will miss AIX but Nick's Westside was perfect setting for a fun and causal dinner. Fantastic drink menu!
They completely changed the menu to accommodate Covid take out. The food was not as good as we remembered. The Sevice was friendly but they seemed way too busy. The food took forever and came out in weird order. My salad came at the end of the meal. Won’t go back. Such a bummer
Good restaurant, food was ok. Nothing special. I feel like all restaurants are the same at the moment. Meats and cheeses, brussel sprouts, a burger with bacon jam .. that’s the menu of 75% of restaurants right now. I’ve become bored of paying $150 for a meal and being offered the same food everywhere.
I have been to Nick’s several times and the food is outstanding everything on the menu is unique and tastes amazing. I will definitely be going back when they have their international food and wine pairing. If it was closer I would make it a weekly spot
Fabulous service, food and ambience! The staff went above and beyond to make it a special event for my birthday.
Great place to have a glass of wine and a fantastic meal! Extremely COVID friendly. Staff was outstanding
The new menu is fantastic!
We got 2 sandwiches, an appetizer, and 2 drinks. Bill came out to $73+tip. One of those drinks was an $8 can of Creature Comfort lager. The other a $10 vadka. I don't mind paying that price for food, but not for a mediocre hamburger and steak fries that I could have made in an air fryer. IDK how others feel, but for how poor the food was, the atmosphere isn't making up for it.
Loved this place!
My wife had seen that Nick’s Westside was listed by some local publications as a new must-go-to spot, so we were excited and had high expectations. The spot was cool enough but we were the only people eating in the dining room at 7 PM on a Wednesday, which was a little strange.
The service was great as was the cocktails, but the canned beer was exorbitantly priced and the food just missed the mark. We tried snacks, apps and mains but the four of us felt like no dish really rose to a level above average. Was surprised at the total price once the bill came, and quickly we decided that the food and value did not match our cost. Would rather go to Marlow’s Tavern (which is great) for half the cost and much better food.
Would recommend for a cocktail in their sunroom, but not dinner!
We were so excited to try this new spot and were really let down. The food was over priced for the quality. Trying to make the switch to the local upscale bar with others closing in the area and it isn’t working. The environment felt wrong for the menu and food was just okay.
The best spot! Some friends and I wanted somewhere fun on a Friday night on the westside! Great atmosphere, great food, great service. We will be back!
It was awesome. Food was good, service was good, and drinks were great. I would definitely go back.
This is my third visit to Nick’s since October and this visit was mediocre at best. The salmon poke tacos were super heavy on red onion and not very tasty beyond the onion taste. The smoked chicken wings were hard and not flavorful. A favorite drink I get with pear infused vodka had Aperol added and a different liquer omitted and the taste was completely different and not good. Lastly there was a private event going on in the room where the fire place was so we couldn’t sit there. So we sat outside where it was windy and becoming chilly. When we asked about the space heaters we were told they weren’t brought out bc they are out of gas. Overall it didn’t live up to the first two visits.

Lovely outdoor situation, food and service. The inside is gorgeous too, can’t wait to sit at the beautiful bar post Covid danger. The staff wrote us a nice thank you note, very nice touch.
The patio at Nicks was so lovely! The food delicious and staff friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.
We went for date night and it was a perfect choice! The menu is diverse so we were both happy getting items that we were craving. They have a large patio with heat lamps so it’s perfect and feels covid safe.
Absolutely phenomenal food, amazing service, great drink selection, and felt very COVID-safe. We will be back again.
Love this casual spot for a great meal! Chef Nick does not disappoint
Food was either too salty or too burnt. However, the service was impeccable.
