Very good food, nice staff, and great ambiance
Chic busy popular restaurant. Love that they accept reservations. Very comfortable seating. Easy to park in their lot. The food was pretty good, not great.
Excellent as always
From the time to being seated
To having our drinks and food ordered
To always enjoying what we order.
Always a great time!
We really appreciated being encouraged to order the Brussel Sprouts and the Prime Rib Dip. But, the Cioppino and Thai Salad were as amazing as was the 8 layer lemon cake.
Service was great but I always enjoy the quinoa/kale salad and it was taken off the menu.
Love this place!
Phenomenal as always. My place to go to for terrific dinners and drinks. Just love the pizzas.
Everything was perfect, my guest had the blackened fish sandwich and I had the prime rib dip.
Our server was Maria, took our ordered, checked on us and cleared the table when we were done. We were able to enjoy our lunch and have conversation. Going back for dinner on Sunday January 23rd. Love this place both for lunch and dinner..
Food and service were great. Background music was so loud that you had to yell your conversation. ☹️
Nick’s is one of our favorites. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent. We are frequent guests and would recommend Nick’s to everyone!
There were issues with very slow Service and the food came out at different times, but the manager made it all right with us, and we really appreciated that very much!
We enjoyed the asparagus fries, fisherman's loaf, bistro salad, and burgers. One guest ordered a veggie burger that was filled with fried items so not a big hit. One guest ordered the au jus sandwich and was raving
We will be back
Classic, pure culinary awesomeness of the food, restaurant, and staff.
Always consistently good. Excellent service; staff is always attentive.
the best restaurant in LA! so great service and food! love this place
Our first visit. We'll be back. Keith was a great waiter. Had ribs and chicken. Both were very good. Cocktails were pricey but good. Great for a nice night out which is what we wanted for our special evening.
The dinner menu satisfied all 3 of us dining at Nick’s. The service was superb, and the for was very delicious.
Absolute Heaven. Nicks doesn’t ever disappoint!
They accommodated my Girlfriend and I upon request. They were knowledgeable of their menu and options. Overall great restaurant for a nice date.
Could not have been better! We showed up early and we’re still able to be seated and from start to finish, nothing could have been better. Anthony was absolutely phenomenal. We didn't have to ask for anything, and the food was top-notch, too.
I had only been to the Nick's in San Clemente, which has the same upscale vibe, but more for a beach town. This location is equally as upscale, with very modern, hip décor, and relaxing atmosphere. Come here (to any of their locations) for a guaranteed excellent experience and night out. THANK YOU, NICK'S!
Delicious food and excellent customer service
Great lunch experience at Nick’s!
Every staff member that I encountered was very helpful and upbeat. Obviously the management has their act together.
Three of us attended and we had an ahi sandwich, a chicken sandwich and baby back ribs- all very good.
This is not an inexpensive restaurant but you get what you pay for.
It was overall great.
We were there to celebrate my son’s 36th birthday. I told Nicks in advance because I was asked when I made the reservation. They didn’t do anything special only asked when we were seated if it was a special occasion, then the waitress noticed it was and told my son HB. Again, there was no free drink or dessert. Why ask? Anyways asides from that, the food was absolutely delicious. For appetizer we ordered the shrimp taquitos and for the main course, Me and the birthday boy ordered the sea bass while our other guest got the cheeseburger. We shared the warm butter cake-yummy. Hands down, delicious! We darn near licked our plates. The birthday boy ordered 2 Mai Tai cocktails and raves about how delicious those were. The food came out timely and was hot. This was our first time eating at Nicks and it will not be our last.
We visited after seeing great reviews online and are so glad we did. Fantastic ambiance, service, food. Everything was outstanding and we will definitely come back next time we find ourselves in Pasadena.
Everything we wonderful…service, food, ambiance. We loved it all!
Great meal, great venue, great service…nice way to ring-in the new year…Kenn
The food and staff were great.
Like I tell my friends, it’s not just a meal it’s an experience
the food is fabulous and the flavors combined are absolutely delicious
Perfect lunch - excellent food, service and experience.
Solid menu. Great food and service.
Good selection of food. Menu size is just right. Food are cooked perfectly. I always go for Cioppino.
It has been awhile since I’ve been there (pre-pandemic), and was so excited to go back. But the quality of the food was not the same. I don’t know what happened, maybe new chef, but everything we ordered from appetisers to main course was mediocre. And they got rid of their one really good appetiser - ahi tuna, which is too bad because it was one of their best. Not sure if I’ll go back any time soon.
We sat in the front area and were able to easily converse. Food and service were great (two salads, two appetizers).
Love Nicks. Always delicious, great service, great drinks!!
We went twice during our stay in Pasadena. Food is incredible. The best fried chicken we have ever had. The ambience itself is really fascinating. It is a very LONG space, that is quite narrow but they have done a great job of building the kitchen and a 2 floors (with elevator) of tables. We love sitting up next to Lake Street - brick walls, high ceilings - place is fantastic.
Took quite a bit of time to get the drinks that were ordered, and it was too much time between waiters coming back to attend the table.
I had not been back since 2019 and I was glad to see Nick’s open again with the same excellence. However , I was really disappointed that the Chicken Pot pie is no longer available. Bring it back!
