nicks on westminster
Everything was wonderful. The vibe of this restaurant is comfortable and hip.
Nick’s food in a gross corporate setting with really bright lights and cafeteria tables. Stick to Broadway. This one is not good.
The menu was limited. Not many selections. The actual menu looked like it was self printed. My tuna was very good. Server was on life support; no energy or life at all. Place was extremely noisy-I could not hear my guests from across the table. Had to ask hostess to turn music down. She came over later and asked me if it was quieter. I told her I did not notice any change in volume. Nicks on Broadway never like this.
Food was excellent as usual. Server was a little strange in his greeting at the table and throughout the night. He was not rude just a little off. We will be returning for sure. Thanks again
Delicious, creative, farm to table food, and the service was phenomenal. What a great addition to downtown Providence!!!
Great addition to downtown. Always loved their location on Broadway, so we were excited to try the second location. Food was phenomenal, service was lacking. We were one of only 4 tables and or server was not as attentive as we would have liked. We had to ask for silverware when our entered arrived. Once or enters arrived we never saw our server again. He spent our time there socializing with the other servers and bartenders working that night. I would have liked a second glass of wine but never got the chance. I hope this is just growing pains and will definitely go back again.
Awesome new downtown providence gem from Chef Derek Wagner.
Two dishes were excellent - country ham and tuna salad. Cocktails were very good. Ambiance is a bit corporate and cold.
Super delicious food with amazing service
Food was very good, but it took WAY too long to get our food. We were there at 5:45 and had a 7:30 curtain at PPAC. We didn't get our main course until 7:10, so we had to ask for the check as we got our dinners, scarfed them down, ran out the door and made our seats only a minute before the curtain rose. In sum, a good restaurant that needs to be much more attentive to its guests' needs.
Great food and service. Derek Wagner has another winner!
portions a little small, but food was very good, service was excellent
Very new and still fabulous service and food!
Awesome dining experience. Phenomenal food, great service, cool vibe. THE BEST!
I had the green salad. It was fantastic
Love Nick's on Broadway...love this location on Westminster!
Food was delightful as was the service, I am headed back very soon.
What can I say, I loved the food but I left hungry. The portions are tiny..
Very nice dining experience. Food was tasty and service excellent. A few glitches due to just opening. Looking forward to my return.
Service could have been a lot better - waitress was not too knowledgeable re food and drinks, needed to come back and forth to get things right; wait for food was unreasonably long; noise level was high. Had higher expectations given previous experiences in original location. This dinner was very disappointing.
We loved everything about Nick’s in Westminster. The olives were another level of deliciousness. Congratulations.
Great addition to Downtown the Food is Incredible!
We have always loved Nick’s on Broadway and were anxious to try Nick’s on Westminster when it first opened. My husband and I dined there with our cousins from Chicago. They loved the bass dish and salads. My husband loved his pasta. I liked what I had but was a bit underwhelmed by the bluefish salad which does not compare to the bluefish salad at Sarto. Our server was wonderful but the service was quite slow -- I’ll chalk that up to opening week. We are delighted to have Nick’s on Westminster a few blocks from where we live and plan to dine there often for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
nicks on westminster is PHENOMENAL. great food (as you would expect from Derek Wagner), beautiful space, and warm service.
