    Nick’s German Litchen causes me to feel welcome almost as if I’m enjoying a meal with family. Everyone is amiable including other patrons. I go there more than any other restaurant because of my comfort with their menu, service and the “homey” feeling 🥹 Roger Elliott

    We really enjoyed our meal at Nick’s. Having had three tours of duty in Germany, this is the closest to the “real thing”. Nick’s puts a Lowcountry spin on the meals.

    Nicks is always a great experience! They really know how to cater to your every need. The service is fantastic and so is the food. The staff is very helpful with providing precise information to make sure you dinner selection matches your tastebuds! Go to place for German comfort food in Mt Pleasant!!

    This is the best German restaurant I have been to in years. My mother is from Germany and she gives this place 5 stars. Nick and his wife are awesome and checkin personally on every guest. We will continue to go back.

    Nick’s has become one our favorite ‘go to’ places in Mount Pleasant. Food and service is ALWAYS great and this time was no exception. Definitely recommend as you will not be disappointed.

    I love coming to Nick’s - my wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. ANYTHING you order is going to be delicious. I have to be honest - their bacon & potatoes is amazing and their sauerkraut is the best I’ve ever had in my life. I could have the sauerkraut as an appetizer, entree and dessert. It’s that good! Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. If you haven’t eaten here yet what are you waiting for?????

    Wonderful food and evening at this delightful restaurant. It’s cozy so can be a little noisy at times but everyone is having a delightful time so no one cares. The owner and entire staff work tirelessly to ensure that you have a wonderful dining experience. I really didn’t want to write a glowing review, because I want to keep it a secret, but I had to be honest. It’s my favorite spot for dining out.

    We have been wanting to try Nick’s for a long time and finally made it. There were four of us ladies. Two of us got the Jager schnitzel and added red cabbage as a side. One got the special pork chop dinner and the other had the pork medallions dinner. Everything was excellent! I especially like the spatzel and the red cabbage together with any meat entrée. We started with a potato pancake appetizer and it was delicious. It came with a salad also delicious. We ended with sharing two crème brûlée’s. They were very good but not the best I’ve had. Next time we plan to plan ahead to order the chocolate soufflé because it takes a half an hour to prepare. We had an excellent bottle of red wine. Their wine selection is very good. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, very attentive, and very good. Can’t wait to return, we haven’t stopped talking about it yet.

    This restaurant has it all going! All German specialties made fresh all the way down to the apple sauce and desserts. Nick and his staff go above and beyond to make sure we have a memorable experiance. We will continue to try all the specialities, you should too!

    Always wonderful and especially nice to celebrate my husbands birthday- that he shares with Nick! Everything was delicious and reminded me of growing up. We were inspired to cook Sauerbraten and try our hand at spaetzle for our family Christmas dinner. Prost! to Nicks German Kitchen

    Visited on Halloween night and had delightful evening. Food ( both ordered jaeger schnitzel) was delish! Apple strudel for dessert was tasty, but pricey for its somewhat diminutive size. Both of us liked our beer and wine selections, especially the spatlese. Service was impeccable . Our server, Leander, is priceless!

    The food is excellent. Nick never disappoint. The portions are more than enough to leave you asking for a Togo box. The service is above average. They are attentive and polite. Don’t forget to make reservations or you will be disappointed.

    I am a Restaurateur and happen to be from Germany. Nicks is amazing! The atmosphere is super comfortable, the service is personable and the food is outstanding. It’s not typical kitschy German, rather, it feels like a high end restaurant that you would visit in your town in Germany. Highly recommend!

    Saturday night dinner, table of 5. Potato pancakes and Pretzels as an app, wonderful! We all had a different dinner, Vegetable Spaetzli (Excellent), Chicken Paprikash (Excellent), Weinerschnitzel (Excellent), Veal Liver with Bacon and Onions (Excellent), Beef Goulash (Excellent). For dessert we had Apple Strudel and Bailey's Creme Brulee, both were absolutely delicious. Can't believe it's taken me 4 years to find this place, we will definitely be back, often!!
