One of my favorite places to eat when in NYC. Amazing food and great atmosphere.
My Lady took me there for a wonderful, low-key post-birthday dinner. Very quiet; Hope you all get thru these tough times so I can come back for an MSG event!
Classic and reliable with innovative twists on traditional standard steak house food. What a warm, welcoming and caring staff.
Our waiter was great handle all of my odd requests 😀
I went alone prior to a concert at Madison Square Garden. It was extremely busy pre-concert but convenient and the staff were efficient under the circumstances. I enjoyed the cold seafood platter all to myself and a good martini.
Great spot before any MSG event !! Alan at the bar is the man to see !! Makes your time at restaurant memorable
Food was undercooked I’ve been there before and it was better before
My wife’s chicken was well over cooked, and the sides of mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach were very bland with no seasoning. Steak was cooked well, and appetizers were delicious.
Everything was just perfect. The wait staff is great.
Top shelf all the way. They know how to make you feel like the most important person in the room. Food is the best and service is great.
Dined prior to Rangers game, many patrons (including us) donned arrangers jersey’s and it was fine. No delay in getting table, wonderful attention from wait staff and food came without delay yet not on top of each other. Drinks were made very well. Would return and do recommend.
The seafood platter was outstanding, a great starter
The best place to eat before any Event here. You can walk right up the back stairs into MSG! Food is great and the service really friendly. I wish I went to more games.
Service and ambiance were excellent.food was above average.i had the bone in rib eye.very tasty,a bit tough to cut.The sides were excellent mashed potatoes and spinach. The coffee was superb
Great night out with the family
It’s was a great meal for a special occasion.
Good food and service- went after a Knick game- very convenient- need more option dessert
I am very disappointed with my experience. Our waiter was not very attentive. Our apps and entrees came out rather quickly. I had to ask for someone other than our waiter to bring over bread and I had to keep asking another gentleman for water. We never received our second glass of wine. In addition, I was celebrating my birthday by redeeming a promo coupon and no one ever said happy birthday or presented me with a piece of cake. When we received the bill, the birthday promo was not redeemed. I had to ask our waiter what happened with the coupon. Only after the second time the promo appeared in the bill and he stood there waiting for us to give him the method of payment. Weird! I felt as if the other guests around our table were receiving great treatment, the waiter was very attentive to their needs and we were just being rushed out. I have never felt so disregarded in a restaurant especially while celebrating a special occasion.
Great place to start the night before a game or show. Not Just Steak but great Seafood as well.
The food was delicious but seating is tight and it was loud but it’s a great upscale dining spot if you want great food before a show at MSG.
Great dining experience! Will definitely be back again.
I've never had a bad meal at Nick and Stef's, and today was no different. We had a group of nine for a business lunch and the service was excellent!
Great food and service. Food was so tender and side so yummy. Nothing left to take home.
In the mood for some lunchtime steak!? Go somewhere else.
I ordered the most basic steak, an 8oz filèt, and when that steak at $43 dollars is served, there shouldn't be one morsel of trimming necessary, let alone chewing through grit.
The steak I got was an oblong knotted piece with a nerve running through it. Plus, the side of asparagus was skinny and drenched in butter. If the kitchen isn't up to the task of serving proper steaks for lunch it shouldn't be a menu option.
That steak was definitely not Prime, nor was it ready for prime lunch time...
This os a tourist trap steakhouse. Our server, John, was charming & attentive. The food was disappointing. It was edible, but forgettable.
Perfect spot for a great meal before any MSG event
Porterhouse for 2.....Always a favorite. Cream Spinach is fantastic
Visited for a lunch meeting near Penn Station. A little expensive. But, great location, great food, fantastic service.
As usual the food was delicious. The service and servers are very good and extremely nice. I have never been disappointed. The prices are normal for a NY steakhouse. Always pleasure.
Outstanding in every way
Found Nick & Stef's on Open Table, perfect location and the food was delicious. The entrance right into MSG was also a bonus!
Food was fabulous, all including appetizer, main course petit filet, the brussel sprouts and a wonderful dessert. Service was just OK. Great place for a business lunch
Took my wife for her birthday. Good steakhouse experience and they didn't charge us for the birthday desert. At NYC prices that was a nice touch. We will be back.
Food and service are always great, this is the second time we have been here. It is very convenient when attending a concert at MSG. However, the manager came over after our appetizers and asked if we would mind moving over a table so that they could put a table of 4 next to us. Of course we had no problem. However, they turned the table sideways making it impossible to pass and they were so close they were practically having dinner with us. It wasn't a table of 4 it was a table of 5 construction workers. They were loud, drinking like a fish and on top of us. We will definitely go to this restaurant again but if asked if I would mind moving over, I'm sure I would do it again but will make sure how many next time.
Always get a great meal before concerts or events at MSG. This is best restaurant in MSG area. Clients love it and walk right upstairs.
Was perfect spot to go before a show. Our server was excellent! Nothing to complain about the food, but very pricey overall.
Absolutely loved our meal and as always our service was amazing!
Great waiter. Food was good but not worth the price they were seeking. Expect more to be a top notch steakhouse. Others at this price range are much better.
This place is GOOD. It’s expensive but it’s good. I just ate here for the third tine in four months. The food ( and the steak in particular) is as good or better than 90% of the NYC steak houses, and the convenience (if you’re going to an event at the Garden) is unmatched. Usually packed, the service is a little slow so leave yourself enough time. The waitpersons, the ladies at the desk, as well as the manager, are terrific. If you have any sort of walking issues, they will personally walk you next door to the Garden VIP entrance which takes you right into an elevator. All in all, a real find.
Food and service were great
