Loved the ambience and intimacy. Service was amazing. And the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.
Great dinner and phenomenal steak
Excellent greeting, seating, hospitality, service, ambiance, and food. I liked the classy jazzy vibe. Highly recommended for special occasions and high-end business dining occasions
A restaurant for foodies and the general fine dining crowd where indulging is worth every penny. The bone in rib eye is impressive and scallops were giant and perfectly cooked. Service was spot on and professional.
We had a remarkable bartender, Sean. A party of six people who looked like they came from the gym were placed next to us. They were loud and obnoxious.
A laid back steak dinner that hit the spot after a day of day drinking. Flavors were not heavy and the table side caesar is amazing!
Always great, one of our favorite restaurants.
I've been here a few times. The restaurant is pretty nice. The steak we've had a few times is always cooked well. It doesn't stand out for the steak, though (for me). The crab appetizer and the souffle desert were by far the better courses of the meal. It's a good date spot for a more formal evening. It is expensive for what you get steak wise.
Best steak I’ve sever had...dry aged ribeye! Mashed potatoes were pretty fantastic as well...can’t wait to go back
Excellent food and outstanding service. Pricy, but worth it.
Unfortunately the restaurant did not live up to expectations. The steak and the baked potato arrived medium warm. Furthermore the steak was too chewy. Did not appreciate the fly flying around our table while we ate. Best thing was the Cesar salad and the happy hour drinks.
We went for burger month. Tastiest burgers my friend and I ever had! And awesome fries.
Our serve, Will I believe was his name. AMAZING!! Best server by far!
Came here for Mother’s Day. The service was impeccable and the food was 5 stars. Highly recommend!
Spectacular meal. Stellar service.
We called as we wanted to arrive early and they told us to come in and they would work us in. We waited over an hour for a table and the restaurant really was not busy. The host told us we were going to get a fabulous table a booth and when they finally sat us it was in the back of the restaurant against a wall so I don’t get it...
They did not serve any snacks or appetizers at the bar while we were waiting and we were absolutely famished.
The restaurant is old and dated and I will not return again
I will say that our steak was very good and our waiter was very on top of things. But they did forget our birthday dessert and we were so exhausted from all the waiting we forgot as well
Overall, the food was ok but given the cost, I would expect the quality to have been far superior. The low rating is also because the cut of one of the ribeyes was mostly grisled fat. I would have expected more from a 62.00 steak. To add insult to injury, the waiter nor hostess came by and asked if everything was ok with the meal. This was by far the most disappointing aspect of the meal.
I will think twice before eating at The Restaurant again.
Food, excellent. Waitress, excellent. Cocktails, excellent. 5/5. Two thumbs up!
I’ve been going to Nick and Stef’s for many years. Its solid and always good.
Best steak I’ve ever had. Had the 24oz ribeye and would go back again.
We had a great time at, Nick's. Our waiter, Khyte, was fantastic and everything was delicious. Best steak I've had in DTLA hands down.
Overall it was ok, we mentioned it was my bday but they did not offer any type of dessert or sing like they do at other steakhouses.
Awesome dinner with the wife
Superb! In every way, a attentive staff, ambiance, and the food, of course, the Sea Scallops, exquisitely prepares.
Thanks to Kari for making us feel so welcome (5 star). Service was efficient and professional. On the down side: this was a reunion of 3 managers from N & S and not once did the MOD visit the table, we were stunned by this, EVEN when we left we saw the MOD at the bar...
Having been there last year, and really thinking the steaks were tasty, I was quite disappointed. Nothing flavorful. Nothing that couldn't have been made at home, just $200 more.
We wanted to go for a nice dinner while in LA.
What a great spot. Fantastic food, great staff,
Great service. The manager stoped by to check on
Our meal, we had a great conversation with him.
This restaurant is a gem.
Was very disappointed with experience that we had at the restaurant. They’re doing construction and had all the windows covered and you can’t see out . Makes you feel trapped inside. The Decour is very dated feels like the 90s in there. They’re supposed to be known for their dry aged beef it was very subpar. Best thing that we ate on the menu was the scalloped very good. Did not care for the management the woman working the front door. Waiter was very good kind of saved The evening.
The staff was very accommodating and their 1-hour power lunch was a very good option for a business meeting. Both my guest and I ordered fish, and although this is a steak house, the fish was a little lacking in flavor. I had the market fish (Barramundi with Chimichrri) and I thought the fish was a little greasy. I also had their mushroom side which wasn’t as flavorful as I had hoped. The mushroom were also a little underdone. Overall though, the option was good for a business meal.
Everyone should try the Tomahawk steak at least once in their life. You won't be disappointed.
Service was good, Food was good (not great, about an 8), Portions were small, Restaurant was noisy, especially a drunk group of 6 people about two tables away.
We really enjoyed it.
Super easy to get a reservation! The food was delicious and our server was so sweet. I got scallops and personally found them a bit salty but my friends’ steaks were delicious!!
My experience and Nick and Steph’s Steakhouse was wonderful! Since the moment we pulled up in our car everyone was so nice and polite. The food was incredible. Everything about this place was perfect.
just a great staff that took good care of my wife's birthday celebration on Easter Sunday
We had a great time at Nick and Stef’s. The steaks were excellent, our server was top notch, and their wine selections are incredibly diverse. Highly recommend the Szechuan long beans to pair with the Rib Eye or NY Strip!!
Was very good! Will definitely come back again!
Ambiance was nice, not as vibrant as the pictures online seem to suggest.
Something about the lighting made the place look older than it should.
Music was too low as to give a nice background setting to your ears.
No center table decor...
The steak cutting knives were dull and old.
The side we tried (Mac & Cheese) was definitely not worth $14... in fact, I wouldn't order it again.
The best thing about this restaurant was this:
2. The steaks.
The best Caesar salad that we have had in years!
