I've been to this restaurant before, and previously had a good experience overall. This recent dinner was a bust for two reasons. First, my friend confidently ordered a filet mignon based on my recommendation for great steak here. The piece of meat served was way too dry and unappealing to try, but she did, and disliked it. When the replacement filet came, i looked just as bad, and was in all ways nearly identical to the item returned. Second, the service was awkward. Drinks and water that my guests ordered were forgotten, and plates were cleared while other diners were in the middle of the meal. It just was an unpleasant experience that was supposed to be a grand event.
Great food and great service. We will definitely be coming back.
THe steaks were under par. Filet mignon was average at best . Ribeyes were just ok . One person did not eat their meat at all because they didn't like it . kind enough to take it off of our bill and we did not even ask . that was the right thing to do and much appreciated .

My husband and I are on a dating experience! We visit a different restaurant for dinner every other week in the DTLA area. Nick and Stef’s was recommended by a friend and come to find out this was a “great martini” go to place back when my husband was still working/living in the area. He of course started our date with his martini and enjoyed every drop of it!
This place is easy to access and I love the fact that there’s underground parking (valet available too). The restaurant itself is like something out of Pulp Fiction, or at least that was the first thing I thought of as I walked in. I was pleasantly surprised and loved the Art Deco look! We sat in a round booth facing the entrance and were right by the beautiful wine cellar. Our food server was extremely efficient, however lacked in the personality area. We thought he needed to be a bit more personable, but what the heck, we were there for dinner and not to make friends, so we didn’t let that get in the way of a great date!
We both ordered the highly recommended aged Ribeye and we shared a side of the Asparagus (we ordered Broccolini, but were told they were out of it...). The steaks were amazing! Cooked to perfection and just the way we ordered them. Our dinner was served with these cute little puffy rolls that my husband said were very tasty! I unfortunately skipped in the carbs department and not only missed out on the rolls, but also on the lemon merengué pie! My husband always says, it’s not a date without dessert and the pie serving size was definitely a slice cut for two, but he managed to eat his portion and mine too! Overall we truly enjoyed our food 😊
The reason for the four-star rating is due to the fact that a nice steakhouse is already limited in selections and when one of the sides isn’t available it makes no sense to me. Nevertheless this is a place I would recommend for those of you that love a good steak.

The service was outstanding and the food was even better. Could actually the best steak that I have ever had. The wine was very good but they did not have the first 2 bottles that I selected.

Wonderful restaurant. Tastiest fries and rib eye I’ve had in a LONG time!!! Fantastic salad and great wine and champagne choices. Loved it. Was visiting from Chicago—home of great steaks.

Upscale place with awkward parking and directions. Nice ambient lighting. Excellent service. For the prices, the food was average. Ordered the Tomahawk medium but it came out rare and we had to return to cook again. Ordered ribeye rare that came out medium. I know it’s hard to get this right but seriously? Halibut was seasoned well but dry. All the sides that we ordered were yummy. The cocktails and wine were excellent as was the delicious dessert. I would give this place another shot.

This is a gem among surprisingly few great restaurants in the immediate area. The service is impeccable, and the food is fresh, very good and perfectly prepared. Great for business lunches or dining with someone special.

The food was wonderful and the service fabulous. We were celebrating a birthday and had not requested anything but they served us a great dessert and it even had a candle!
This was pur first time eating here and we were hoping to get that wow experience but We were a little dissappointed to wait a bit longer approximately 30-35 min to get the meals , even though the restaurant wasnt that busy .. ..

Excellent food---their steaks are hard to beat. We had dinner before Disney Hall and it was enjoyable. Only downside: it was cold in the restaurant because the heat was down since there is extensive construction in the building.
Company Execs took a new hire there for a Welcome lunch. Excellent service and food. The short-rib plate is the best!!!

The food was good but I was expecting better, the dry aged steaks were unique but it tasted like something I could make at home. The next day I made a New York strip at home and it turned out better. I enjoyed Flemmings more. It was also very dark in the restaurant I could barely see my food.
It was perfect! It was the perfect setting, the food was great! Our server was personable and made sure we were taken care of. We had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I called the restaurant in advance to ask a dessert be brought to the table for my partner's birthday and I said I would pay for it, I wasn't expecting a freebie. No problem, the man said. It never came. We ordered a dry aged rib eye medium rare. It came rare, had no flavor, was tough, full of gristle and fat, and no higher caliber than Sizzler and I hope I'm not demeaning Sizzler. The recommended sauce was watery and flavorless. The broccolini was too al dente... nearly raw. In a city full of Brussels sprouts, this was the worst version I've had. Mushrooms were okay. The waiter came once after the runner brought the food and before we even had a bite to ask how everything was. We hadn't tasted it yet and we never saw him again until the plates were cleared. Otherwise, I would have complained about the quality of food. Our reservations were at 2 p.m. and the restaurant wasn't crowded. Honestly, this place just doesn't care. It's expensive, they are doing their job, but they just don't care about what's on the menu or the quality of their cooking or ingredients or their service. It was so disappointing and they can be assured I will never be back.
Food and service were amazing! It was little too noisy that we could not really talk quietly. It was as if there was a big conference meeting because of the noise. Other than that, the dry aged rib eye was just simply the best in medium well cooked.
Good place, steak was bland not worth it for the price was only edible because of the sauce I got everything was else was amazing and tasteful

Great food and a pleasant ambiance. The A La Carte Model leaves the meal feeling bleak though, I would want combinations sugested by the Chef as well as individual items.
