Went on Thanksgiving day. Place was moderately busy. Ordered an alcoholic drink and they didn't have one of the ingredients. Instead of telling me they couldn't make the drink, they went and got it and made my drink. They also accomodated us on changing our seats to another spot. Great customer service.

It was cold inside. It's hard to notice the ambience when everyone is eating with coats on. This was the case last time I was here at night, so it's not acceptable to still be so drafty. The Thanksgiving dinner was tasty, but the pickled cranberry was not a fave. I forgot that their Ceaser dressing has a good amount of dijon and was a bit heavy for the greens. That said, I enjoyed my meal and would come again (with layers on, of course) for a great steak.

Something has happened to this place. They used to be so good, but sadly, our service was severely lacking. We told them in advance we had a show to make. We sat for 45 minutes without even a salad brought out. By the time the steak and entrees were brought out we had 9 minutes to eat our whole meal. They kept apologizing for their service, but didn’t do anything to fix it. And we still paid over $300 for a 9 minute meal. The food is always good, but it’s now the second time where I’ve had awful service. Not sure if it’s worth returning.

After being served (by the separate server assigned that duty) our waitress did not check to find if everything was okay and barely appeared until we got our bill. I asked that my prime rib be "medium rare" and it was indeed as I ordered (so there was no fault of the chef) but when I saw it, I wanted to send that particular cut back to get it to "medium" but the Missing Waitress did not appear for me to ask for that to be done -- so I ate about 1/10 of my meat. I wanted salt and pepper but again the Missing Waitress was not around. Since I was going to a show afterwards, I simply had to leave a large portion of left-over meat on my plate. I have had good experiences at Nick & Stef's in the past, but now I do not know when I will ever return.

Sommelier was underwhelming. Waiter was same. Food quality was okay, but not what I expect from what was billed as a 4-star plus restaurant. Wish I had gone to the Palm.

Extremely slow service.
Skirt steak was inedible. Sent it back. Had to get the chicken to go. Undercooked.
Side greens were an afterthought.
Veggie soup was good. Mushroom appetizer was good.

We were celebrating a birthday and it was great. I hadn’t been to the restaurant since before the remodel. The Lao-back ambience was a nice and unexpected change.

Our server, Kyle was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. The manager came over several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We were celebrating a long awaited vacation and the evening was just wonderful. They were very welcoming to our children, 9 & 12, which is always appreciated as well! We had the dry aged bone in Rib eye and it was so delicious and it just melted! Perfection!

It was not easy to find this restaurant or get to the restaurant due to the construction. We were late and I feel our table or sitting table wasn’t great. Perhaps you need to specify sitting. Our waitress was amazing incredible super fantastic. Super knowledgeable and professional. We share the tomahawk, I wasn’t impressed but my guests were. I had better! The Brussels sprouts were alright, I had better. I don’t want to say the restaurant is blend, but maybe due to the construction something is missing. My guests enjoyed the meal very much, and that is what really matter. After all, we were celebrating a birthday and they though it was a good choice. I will like to return when the construction is finished.

IT was a lovely dinner...it started a bit rough due to the difficulty of handicap access for my mother. It's a long walk from valet for her, and the stairs on Hope are too difficult. Also, the waitress initially gave us pushback on something as simple as a table side caesar salad, one without anchovies. But in the end, she was great, and very personable. It was a beautiful birthday dinner for my mother.
Thank you.

Place was not full but was seated a nice table right by the kitchen... only got bumped into by waitstaff a couple times. Service, while very friendly, was a bit slow and out of synch. Server had to be prompted to take a drink order. Took a long time to get a cocktail and salad came at almost the same time. Two of us got aged NY steak at $68 each and both were a real disappointment - it was cooked properly but tasted bland and was rather tough with a lot of stringy connective tissue. Baked potato was somewhat gummy. I would try another steak house next time in LA.

We are exited to try Nick and Stef's, and left somewhat disappointed. There are so many great options for a high end steakhouse, and this did not hit the mark. The service was particularly disappointing; the server was inattentive. We ordered drinks, and they arrived after our main course. (We even had starters, so this is simply unacceptable.) We ordered the bone in tomahawk for the table, and it was fine. The overdone carving and presentation cooled down the steak. There are better options in downtown LA.

Very good all around dinner experience. The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was no back rest on some chairs. They provided pillows but it didn't provide enough back support.

I have been there several times and enjoyed it every time. I order the same lunch special Skirt Steak and salad. Usually it is very good, however, this time it was not up to par. I ordered the steak medium well and it came back more like medium rare. Sent it back and it came back medium. Ate only the salad. My business partner order medium and his came back medium rare, at that point he just didn’t eat it.

Again, we have been there several times and it has always been good, must have had a bad day!

We love this place! We come here regularly for drinks and dinner for our special occasions - to see a play at the Music Center, to celebrate birthdays/anniversaries/promotions/kids going off to school. The food is incredible; the 28-day dry-aged steaks are so tender and full of flavor. We took our friends this time who had never been and they also fell in love. One was a meat eater - the other not so much. He was able to order the fish of the day that he said was incredible. Highly recommend the long green beans, brussel sprouts and lots of pop-overs. Love that you can also bring in your favorite bottle of wine for a reasonable corkage fee. We will be back - hopefully in the not so distant future.

It was a great meal. I don't think the 25 day dry aged ribeye was any more flavorful or tender than non-dry aged ribeye's I've tried. But I still appreciate the extra step they took. The sides were great, especially the creamed spinach and potato au gratin. The chocolate souffle was not cooked enough so only the top was edible while the middle was slightly cold/lukewarm.

Was planning special occasion. Read awesome reviews on line. Service and food not living up to the hype. I expected Palm or Ocean Prime and the evening left me flat. Our waiter was nice and tried to make up through the meal, which was very slow. Pop overs are delicious however.

Top rate dining experience and a go to for our family celebrations. Can’t even come close to this quality and value at any other steakhouse of this caliber. The wine list so moderately priced. Lots of gems in there is you look deep. Customer for life.

最初に勧められる各地の水は飲む必要は無いかも。
グラスワインはナパのシャルドネが最も印象的、赤はフルボディーよりピノノワールの方が料理にはあっていた。
お薦めのサラダは絶品。
フィレがおいしかったです。

We've been to Nick and Stef's Steakhouse many times over the last decade or so, and the food and service have always been top notch. There really is something to say about their aged-steak process that gives the meat a very distinctive, rich taste, and the Chef's in the kitchen have always prepared it to our liking. The sides offered from year to year, and the changes they make from season to season has always been something we've really looked forward to. And last, but not least, the table-side Caesar salad is a must-have every time. Thanks for being such a great place to go out for a great dinner and/or special occasion! Jon C.
