Service and setting where the best part of this fine establishment. The food left much to be desired. We started a seafood tower and the shrimp was chewy and not as fresh as everything else. My steak of choice for the night was the 18 oz ribeye. I enjoyed the char, but my medium was more like a medium well. Now one over done steak isn't a problem since it was a good piece of meat, but almost every steak was a bit over done. My be a off night, I'll def try again.

Went for the first time in a few years to this classic steak house for DineLA. I thought the hanger steak was incredibly good -- more tender and flavorful than the cut usually achieves, and perfectly prepared. The sides and cheese puff were also good, though green beans didn't need the sugar in the sauce. My wife ordered fish and found it much too smoky in the preparation. The service was terrific -- warm and attentive. I'll return as often as I can with friends or on business, but I don't think I'll be able to entice my wife to return.

DineLA menu was very obviously pre prepared. Poor cut of meat, salad was wilted and soggy. The restaurant was under half full and it took the waiter ~15 min just to come to our table. For a $40 dinner I expected much better.

Food is great as always. The steais aren't heavily seasoned so you can really taste the meat. The sides are full of flavors.

Awesome tableside Caesar salad. Two people in my party had the Wagu beef and literally stopped talking and closed their eyes to savor it as they said it was the best thing they had ever eaten! The chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream was enough for four to share after the rest of the meal and was an excellent way to end the meal.

Superb steaks! Ordered the wagyu ribeye and could have not been more impressed. A great place for any occasion, great whiskey selection as well.

What a great experience! I loved our dinner at Nick and Stef's. The food and presentation of it is really outstanding. Our server (I think her name was Julie?) was superb. She made sure we were taken care of all the time...

My dinner at Nick and Stef was a wonderful. What stood out was a service it was impeccable! The food was good but limited as we were there for La dine week and committed to sticking with in that menu option. When we go back we'd definitely try other menu items. We've eaten at the Nick and stuff in New York and the ambience here in LA is so much better. I would definitely go back there again!
