   Another excellent fine dining experience last night at Nick and Stef's. We had the wedge and garden salads, dry-aged ribeye, burger, roasted carrots, and sauteed wild mushrooms. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked, as we would expect. Cocktails, wine, and digestifs elevated the experience. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. Everything was perfect from the time we walked in and this will continue to be our go-to restaurant before a concert/show.

   Waited an hour for our food because they were waiting for us to finish our salad. The food was severely under seasoned.

    Environment is nice. The steak not as good as expected. A bit too fatty on the tomahawk and flavor not so much but service is good and still enjoyable.

    We were looking for an excellent steak near the crypto center for the big Laker playoff game. The food, cocktails and service was excellent. We were able to get to the game on time for tip-off.

    It was a quiet Wednesday night which was perfect. The out side dinning is lovely however we chose a inside corner booth on the bar side. Great for business casual meet up. The Ribeye was amazing . Best part was the chocolate desert please be careful on the cast iron Skillet. There was a bit of commotion with an employee however it was handled exceptionally. I plan on returning on a warmer night to enjoy the patio.

    Service was excellent, but we were smashed in a table for two, next to another party, when several other tables were available. The steak was over cooked, and completely raw on the inside.

    First time at N&S and will definitely go back again. Didn't take any pics of food but everything we had was fabulous. The salads, a Caesar and a mixed green were fresh and tasty. The Caesar had a little too much dressing but it was still good. We had a couple different steaks and scallops... The scallops were cooked to perfection and the steaks season well very tender.... Great meal and a definite before a show... The only downside....... The steak knives were horribly dull and made it difficult to cut a tender steak....

    The Maitake mushrooms were so incredible! We had great service, the staff was super attentive. Would definitely recommend the hanger steak from the happy hour menu.

    I go to Nick & Stef's almost every time I see at show at the Music Center or Walt Disney Hall. The Food and Service is always excellent. The complimentary Yorkshire Puddings that they bring when you sit down are fantastic! Enjoy them with Butter for an elevated treat. I especially love the Scallops appetizer, Grand Filet Mignon, Loaded Baked Potato and the Chocolate Souffle. The complimentary Bordelaise Sauce is great on the Scallops and all Steaks. Our waiters were knowledgable and attentive. I love that the Manager came by to check-in with us. Thank you to the Management and Staff at Nick & Stef's for another enjoyable evening!

    My crab cake was very fishy tasting. Being with a brand new co-worker at lunch I didn't want to make her uncomfortable. Service was just OK.

    We were looking for a place to get a steak dinner after the opera at the Dorothy Chandler and this place is five minutes away. The restaurant wasn't full, and it was very quiet. Sorry I don't remember our server's name but she was outstanding. Unobtrusive but there when needed. We started off with drinks and complementary popovers. My partner had oysters which he enjoyed. We shared a wedge salad which they kindly split in the kitchen. Entrees were filets, cooked to our liking. He had a loaded baked potato, I had the gratin with mushrooms on the side. We shared a lemon meringue tart for dessert. Everything was delicious. But warning - this place is very expensive. Total bill $284 before tip (to be fair, he had a cocktail and we each had a glass of wine. If you don't mind spending, this is a great place.

    The staff and service was what blew me away at Nick and Stef's. The staff was so patient, and helpful - suggesting food and wine pairings and just made the entire dining experience so elevated. Along with the ambiance and the bustling DTLA scene, it really made my brother's birthday very special.

    The food was excellent, the complimentary little pastry type things, that reminded of Yorkshire pudding, were amazing. We had shrimp cocktail - excellent….My wife and I then shared a Caesars (recommended sharing this as portion size is big), it was amongst the best Caesars salads I have ever had…superb. We went simple with a petit filet for my wife and a NY steak for me, we shared one portion of mashed potato. Steaks were top notch. Nicely seared, very juicy and perfect in the middle and really well seasoned. I didn't use any sauce at all…though they are available for free, wines were great too. Lovely service throughout. It is a high end place and you certainly pay for that,but the experience, food and service were just 5 stars all the way.

    The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. Food was delicious, our waiter had recommended the age dried New York strip, it tasted so good. The potatoes au gratin is a must try. Whenever I get back to LA I will definitely visit again.

    Excellent service! One employee even stopped us walking on Hope St and asked up if we needed directions (we did). She was on the way to work - black pony tail, didn’t catch her name but she was very nice and helpful. All of the staff at the restaurant were friendly and very helpful. We were eating early before a concert and the inside was quiet. Food was excellent - we will be back!

    Had another great dinner last night with family/friends. Couldn't get the private room but was able to sit at a quiet table in the adjacent dining area. This was great since my dad is 94 y/o and hard of hearing so it made things much easier. Our server was great and the food was outstanding. Oyster appetizers, fries, green beans, asparagus, mash potatoes were all a good supplement to ribeye and filet entrees. All in all a great time had by all and will definitely come again.
