About Niche Restaurant
Niche began its story ten years ago when the historic post office in picturesque downtown Geneva was transformed into a space to bring the community a new source of culinary enlightenment. The response to our quest was well received and encouraged the evolving staff to continually strive for perfection. Delving farther into the traditions of the Earth’s diverse cultures, our goal is to balance the exotic with the familiar. Global diversification of ideas and practices introduces guests to a whole new experience each time they dine with us. An accompaniment to our rotating menu ranging from Small Plates to well orchestrated Entrees is an impressive list of carefully selected beer, wine, and spirits.

Niche Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Everything was outstanding! I've eaten at some fine restaurants around the world, most recently, in Australia and must say that the service, ambiance, lighting, candles, coziness, service, and food were top shelf! The variety of food, fresh ingredients and presentation stand up against the best. Service was very welcoming and non-pretentious... LOVE IT! We'll be back VERY SOON... Cheers! (P.S. GREAT Martini's and blue cheese olives!)
The food and service were both outstanding. Every course was exciting and unique, and although pricey- honestly worth it. The experience and ambiance alone were worth the cost. The dessert courses are different and fun, and sooo delicious. I had a great time, and will definitely be returning.
I took my husband and my 2 foodie tweens to Niche for my hubby's bday. The menu is on the small side but nicely varied. We all commented how we could easily make a meal out of the appetizers as that portion of the menu was fantastic. We had the cheese plate, sausage platter and mussels. The sausages were very flavorful and came with wonderful garlicky bread. The entrees were small (scallops only contained 3 scallops and not much else) but very good, although they contained too many components making it a challenge to find an entire entree that did not require modifications or pushing some food to the side.
We have eaten at Niche many times, usually for special occasions such our anniversary and birthdays. We have never been disappointed. Steve, our waiter, is excellent. He is able to answer any question and make recommendations. The food and service are exceptional. Niche is our preferred place to go for dinner.
To dine at Niche requires a desire to be part of a culinary experiment. The menu was so unique and unusual that there was literally only one item on it that my wife and I like. The rest seem to have been added without regard to patrons, just to demonstrate how "creative" chefs an be. WE will not be back. In addition, the seating was cramped. AND, like the food menu, the liquor selection carried almost NO standards. Who offers scotch whiskey and doesn't include at least a couple vintages of Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, and/or Balvenie? So all-in-all, this was a disappointment. I won't be back.
The food was amazing, from the appetizers through desserts! Wow! Great staff, again, from bartender, waiter and a very responsive water pouring young man named Charlie. We brought the other two couples here having such a great experience our first time. They now love it as much as we do.
Another fabulous meal at Niche. Should go more often as they never disappoint. Butternut squash soup with Pommegranite was great blend of flavors. The filet speacial was prepared to perfection and melted in the mouth. Wife had Scallops that were on spot with nice carmelized out side and moist inside. Beautiful bottle of Bordeaux for a very good price and even though there was cake at home had to grab the Cotton Candy. Yes that’s right! Back to childhood with flavors I never had in this wispy sugary delight!!
The food was outstanding. My husband had the rack of lamb and I had the beef tenderloin. Everything was delicious. The setting is warm and friendly. The Niche signature after dinner drink was was yummy. It was an enjoyable evening and I look forward to a second visit.
Very thing you want in a restaurant. Exceptional food, excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. Terrific wine list, but in this restaurant bourbon is king. Over 100 different brands to choose from. Have one of their signature manhattans, old fashions or a boulevardier, then a bottle of wine with dinner. Try the dessert trio. You won't be disappointed with Niche.
Way over priced, we had a $100.00 Gift Certificate and our bill was was still $320 before tip with the Gift Certificate 4 p4opl4, No bread/dinner rolls, when we asked for it they brought out some sort of fried chip almost like a Tortilla chip
This is the type of restaurant to come to repeatedly because everything they serve is wonderful. You want to try every entrée. The attention to detail is very evident in every dish they serve and in the way the servers take care of you. It's more of a special occasion place because the prices are a little high. It's worth it though!
I have always heard about Niche but never went. I had a gift card from a client and went for my wife's birthday. The table was ready for our reservation time and the staff sat us and one of the better tables. The waitress gave a complimentary glass of champagne for my wife's birthday. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dinner was outstanding and the cocktails were to die for. I highly recommend the house old fashioned. Entrees were great as well as the soup and desserts. I will be back. Great evening and dinner. Thank you Niche.
Niche never disappoints! Our server, Jeffery, was outstanding this time, providing helpful and immediate attention when needed, but not overbearing. The food is excellent and creative, incorporating local ingredients where possible. It is a bit louder since they redecorated, eliminating the use of table cloths and rearranging seating where diners are sometimes within what seems to be inches of other diners at another table.
First visit...Celebrated our 44th anniv....Steve our server started off with complimentary champaigne...nice menu...a little pricey but worth it...overall everything, drinks, food, and exceptional service...made for a most enjoyable experience...will definetly go back and recommend
