About Niche Restaurant
Niche began its story ten years ago when the historic post office in picturesque downtown Geneva was transformed into a space to bring the community a new source of culinary enlightenment. The response to our quest was well received and encouraged the evolving staff to continually strive for perfection. Delving farther into the traditions of the Earth’s diverse cultures, our goal is to balance the exotic with the familiar. Global diversification of ideas and practices introduces guests to a whole new experience each time they dine with us. An accompaniment to our rotating menu ranging from Small Plates to well orchestrated Entrees is an impressive list of carefully selected beer, wine, and spirits.

Niche Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Niche never disappoints! Our server, Jeffery, was outstanding this time, providing helpful and immediate attention when needed, but not overbearing. The food is excellent and creative, incorporating local ingredients where possible. It is a bit louder since they redecorated, eliminating the use of table cloths and rearranging seating where diners are sometimes within what seems to be inches of other diners at another table.
First visit...Celebrated our 44th anniv....Steve our server started off with complimentary champaigne...nice menu...a little pricey but worth it...overall everything, drinks, food, and exceptional service...made for a most enjoyable experience...will definetly go back and recommend
The waiter Tommy made you feel that you were the only guest in the room. His knowledge of the menu and his recommendations were fantastic. The food was exceptional in the way it was presented and the various uses of flavors in the dishes. For dessert I would highly recommend the "whiskey cake" - Niche is a great place for a good meal
Had an amazing time at Niche were their for our Anniversary Jeffrey was the best waiter just loved him, he made our dinner really special, when we arrived he brought us glasses of champagne for us to toast and after was so attentive can't wait to go back, food was great also corn chowder was to die for.❤️
Great what you might call nouvelle american food with attention to presentation. Second time here. Arrived on a Tuesday for an early (6pm) reservation. We were seated right away. We had lamb and scallops entrees. Both were great. Wine, beer and the special Manhattan were enjoyed too. Dessert was nice but not special. Server was attentive and timely, but likely inexperienced. She read the specials from a cheat sheet and served drinks on the left. I’m probably just nit picking on that, because we enjoyed the meal immensely. Definitely will be back again. Thanks, Niche for a nice evening.
Not worth the price! I don't mind paying for fine dining, but when you get a bill for almost $300 you expect to eat great. Tough NY strip steak, flavorless chicken, a sausauge plate that had there pickled vegetables that didn't really pair well with the meat...Just not a great experience. They had a great beer selection. But they really need to tell the kitchen that this is a nice restaurant, that seasoning is OK and that they're not cooking for a senior living facility. At least put some salt on the food.
Date night with my wife. Menu was recently updated, with another great selection. Amish chicken was perfectly done with great mix of flavors. The fettuccini was also great. Wide drink and wine menu. This restaurant is always a treat for foodies. Whiskey cake was a great dessert.
Had Anniversary dinner there. The service was outstanding and food was very very good. Recommend the off the menu NY Strip Steak. Great wine/beer list. Reasonably quiet atmosphere, its a small restaurant. Bar area small but cozy. Service very attentive, no request was too small. I have seen some reviews stating an older crowd, but there were children and young adults in the restaurant when I was there. A good mix but mainly 30+. Pricey, but you should expect that from this quality restaurant. Bill + tip came to $180 but I just returned from Paris and spent that much on inferior meals with bad service. Give it a try. A good local restaurant with superb food, drink and service. Weeknites are best for getting a reservation. I was there on a Saturday and by 6:30 it was full......
So we have been to Niche 2x in one week. We've had the bison, monkfish, swordfish and New York strip steak between us and each meal was delicious. The creamed corn soup is amazing. The Brussel sprouts are second to none and the bourbon cherries for dessert were incredible as well. If you like old fashioned's then take your pick! I have to say that I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. We had Jeffrey and Carley as servers and both were very professional and delightful. My husband and I highly recommend Niche.
Steve was our waiter and was fantastic. We enthusiastically savored our every bite of swordfish and bison. We feel this chef is creative, artistic, and obviously has a sense of humor. We ordered the sausage plate appetizer and it had pork rinds on it which we often munch on when we travel in the car. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary and Steve made it quite special.
Our plan is to frequent this wonderful place and try everything on the menu. I would give the food 4 stars!!!
Our experience was fantastic, from start to finish! We were celebrating a friends birthday and they went out of their way to take care of her and make her feel special!
The food was wonderful and our server was even better! I would definitely recommend and go back!
The Food was OK but not great and for the money not worth it. Service was not great for a high end place. I ordered a beer and the server looked at me a little funny and when I got it the beer was so sour it was almost undrinkable, If the bee was that sourer I wish he would have said something. I do not think we would go back here.
