Still best in Geneva. Prices are Manhattan, beware.
Really enjoyed our evening and experience at Niche. Food was prepared beautifully, and complemented by excellent customer service. Would recommend Niche to others, and will definitely return.
Best part about our experience was our server, Melissa. Friendly, helpful. She heard us talking about sharing the soup special and then had it divided into 4 servings so we each had a bowl. Served a glass of sparkling for our anniversary.
Food was amazing. I had scallops and three others had steak. All delish.
Only thing I question was a customer who had a dog on her lap. The dog was quiet and could have been a service dog though no vest or marking. In a higher end restaurant, consideration should be given to other customers who are not dog people.
Otherwise, a lovely evening.
A sequence of perfectly served and cooked dishes accompanied by one of the best bourbon and beer menus in the state that is meticulously presented by an outstanding team of server personnel.
This restaurant is extraordinary and probably one of the top three kitchens in the suburbs.
Great business and dinner location
Fantastic menu and wine selection but don’t miss out on the best cocktails and appies. Cool, urban vibe with excellent play list. Niche is a 10!
We took our daughter and son-in-law to celebrate her birthday. Our server, Jeffrey, was awesome! Great menu, unbelievable spirits choices, and incredible dinner. Best luxury restaurant in Chicagoland.
OUTSTANDING! Food is incredible (the chef has serious skills), service is spectacular, location is lovely with a taste of old Europe, drinks are delicious. Highly recommended, we are going to have dinner here again ASAP.
Everything was wonderful! We were there celebrating my birthday, and that was missed, but everything else was great!!
Excellent server! Tables are a bit too close together for my tastes.
The menu of main courses is far too limited. There are only 5 selections. My impression is that Niche is trying to cater to a high end clientele. The party at the table next to us also commented unfavorably about the limited menu.
It is too bad because it is a nice restaurant. They need some regular selections. Salmon, steaks, maybe even burgers.
I think the food they serve is French, which is fine but they need more options.
Service and ambiance were great. Food and drinks were also good. However, when the entrees arrived, I could not believe that there were only 3 scallops on my plate! $36 - for three scallops - that is outrageous!
Unparalleled hospitality, food, and drinks. Vinnie has put together an incredible team of industry professionals. Do not miss an opportunity to dine here or one of their outstanding beer or whiskey dinners!
We had a great dinner! Seated promptly , server was very friendly and helpful at adding his suggestions on what to order. Dont pass on all you can eat cotton candy!
The food descriptions sound better then the execution. Nothing we ordered was hot. The filet was tasty but butchered very poorly. Wine, beer and liquor options very impressive though at least the wine by the bottle is way over priced. Staff very attentive.
In celebration of a Birthday we decided to go to Niche. The food overall was good. The reason it was only good is the Hake, ordered by two people in our party, was way over salted. No, I did not send the food back. As I said this was a birthday celebration and I did not want to make a fuss. Just thought is was worth mentioning here. The soup of the day and dessert were all delicious. Too bad someone was to heavy handed with the salt.
Great place for date night dinner!
Been wanting to try Niche in Geneva for some time and I am glad I finally did. It's a relatively small place but quite cozy with a high-end feel. The food was incredible and the beer selection quite diverse. Very quiet (on a Thursday night) with low-key dark colors, low light, great looking bar with a huge whiskey selection. We had a mature server who knew the menu well. My wife and I dined and drank for under a hundred bucks: flight of beer and a pint as well, Titos and tonic, appetizer and entrees. I had the chicken and I have to say it was sooo tender and whatever was in the bed of veggies was really tasty. Great sauce. My wife was highly satisfied with her Gnocchi. Oh, and it was our 40th anniversary so the waiter brought us a free round of really nice French bubbly. A great first visit to this restaurant.
Food was awesome as usual, Love this place.
First time having dinner here - had only drinks before - cannot wait to go back.
Amazing burger - Amazing pork chops - Amazing Steak ... Amazing server - everything was perfect for our anniversary celebration 🍾
Lovely restaurant and food exsquisite!! love love this place
Very crowded dining room.....you couldn’t fit another table in with a shoe horn !! The food was excellent as was our waiter Jeffrey .....but the tables are almost on top of one another. You’ll get to know your “neighbors” quite well whether you want to or not !
Was a nice experience. Food was good, some dishes exceptional. Small tables made dining experience difficult. Waiter had to continually step in between our tables putting his behind in my face. Awkward to say the least.
The food was amazing and Steve our server could not have been more attentive. Excellent wine at a reasonable price. We have already made a plan to go back.
Creative menu and bar selections. Attentive service. Just a great experience overall. Make sure to get a reservation! We will definitely come back
Always great! Always new items on the menu. The combination of flavors accompanying each entree is fantastic. Flavors and combinations you just want to experience and never get to at other restaurants. Desserts are a not to miss experience. Conversation friendly, informal atmosphere but you feel you have been someplace special
Niche was OUTSTANDING!!! The food was DELICIOUS!!! The service was IMPECCABLE!!! Vinny the manager is quite knowledgeable about the alcoholic selections and Rochelle was an amazing waitress. We had the pumpkin martini, Purple kale salad, gnocchi, tuna, bone-in pork chop and then the cotton candy and another dessert. Well worth the visit and price. Loved the atmosphere.
Highly recommend this hidden gem!
I can’t think of one thing I would change. Food, wine, service, ambiance...Absolutely perfect.
Sometimes we find the food to be hit or miss. Tonight the steamed mussels appetizer and the halibut entree were outstanding. We also rarely stay for dessert...however they have changed the dessert menu and everything they offered looked interesting...I highly recommend the cheesecake. The service is always wonderful.
Very disappointed with the inability to bring wine to the restaurant (no corkage allowed) and the wine list on line and in the menu was not up to date.
We are regulars for a reason. This time a group of 6 for a family celebration and we got the same high level of attention we always get when just two of us.
Excellent food and service.
The place was nice but I ordered a pork chop and the portion was small and it had dill sauce on it. I do not like dill and it was not mentioned on the menu. The Brussels sprouts were also over cooked. The rest of the food was good and the service was excellent.
An overall excellent restaurant. From the hostess to the wait staff to the food and drink -- everything was perfect and all the employees seemed genuinely happy to be working there. No wonder this place is always busy on the weekends.
Great time and way to spend for our anniversary dinner
The staff is lovely. I would like to see a little more variety in the food. Overall a very good restaurant, especially for small plates. A bread offering would be nice as well, especially while enjoying the great variety of drinks.
Great place, love the atmosphere and selection of drinks.
Fantastic menu as always and changing which is great. Service is awesome! Ask for Jeffrey. Overall, a phenomenal restaurant. And ask for Brant for drinks.
Fantastic, as always
Great food, beverage choices, service and atmosphere, always solid
