Just the most wonderful night from start to finish!
We enjoyed a nice meal at Niagara’s Finest Thai. Ajay, our server, was friendly and professional and had some good suggestions on selections from their menu. We ordered two appetizers and two main courses to share. The spring rolls and chicken satay appetizers were tasty as were the Pad Thai and chicken curry mains. We had our leftovers packed up for us to take home to enjoy another Thai meal at home. The restaurant is nicely decorated with an open kitchen and good views out to the Main Street. We would return again when visiting the area.
Service was excellent. Food was tasty. Portions were good. Location is 2 minutes to the Festival theatre and 8 minutes to St. George theatre.
Prices are a little on the higher side for everyday dining.
very nice restaurant.extreemly busy so we had to eat earlier than we like but everything was great.make sure you make a reservation as soon as possible especially on the weekend. busy with people going to the various theaters in town
Delicious, fresh food and great service. Will definitely return.
Wonderful evening. Staff were warm and friendly, professional and timely. Meal was fantastic, servings are large and very tasty. Manager exceeded expectations. A great place before heading to the Shaw. I've been here a few times, and intend to come again.
Our server Marta was outstanding. She was professional, outgoing, and very attentive. Describe the selections. We will certainly return.
Nice Thai restaurant. Service and food were good. Moderately priced.
Loved the food and good value. Portions are large and food is full of flavour
Considering we booked 2 weeks earlier we should not have been cramped into a small booth next to a large group.
Excellent service, Carol was warm and nice to the kids. We travelled from Madison, Mississippi to the area for Spring break and felt very welcome. Kids enjoyed the food. Spice level was perfect.
We will visit again if we are ever in the area
Excellent quality. Great tasting. Authentic cuisine. Honest service.
Food was flavourful and service was good. Will return to this restaurant
Had a great meal that catered to vegans and the staff were incredible.
Food was excellent, as was AJ (our server). He was particularly patient and conscientious about looking after my wife's food sensitivities. It was also a nice change to not receive pressure to buy alcohol as soon as we were seated.
This is fourth time we have visited. It was New Year’s Eve so much busier than normal. Some loud party next to us so difficult to chat. The food as always was amazing. The waitress seemed distracted and brought the wrong dish. When I got my Pad Thai is was very tasty. The satay was really good.
Waitress suggested something with chicken stock was vegetarian. Water glasses weren’t refilled and we weren’t asked if we wanted a second glass of wine. Nearly had to beg for dessert menu to be presented. This was our third time at this restaurant and the service was shockingly poor.
It was the third visit for my partner and me. Food always interesting. Served hot. The menu is well explained and any questions are easily handled by the the delightful staff. Drinks that seem accompany the dishes are a good way to start the dinner.
Overpriced. Food was ok, but I could get something comparable or better where I live for under $10. $20 for chicken curry is excessive. Mojito had too much simple syrup.
Best Thai we've ever had. Apps, main dishes, drinks, all outstanding. My wife doesn't like peanut sauce and loved theirs so much so that when we went back the next day for lunch, she had the pad Thai. What a gem for NOTL.
Great vegan options if you're looking for those. Food tasted amazing, prices were very good for the area and our waitress was great and knowledgeable.
we enjoyed ourselves very much sharing the mixed appetizer platter and then two entrees, one noodle-based and the other a curry with rice. A nice bottle of reisling went well with the moderately spicy dishes.
The restaurant was packed when we arrived but the noise was quite tolerable. Service was excellent.
Stand out dish was the Beef Tenderloin Salad. Get it medium rare. 😊
I have found the food hit and miss. Last visit the coconut soup was the best I've had and this time not so much. Quantity is different too.
Great venue and food. Loved the open kitchen. Server could have been more attentive though. Would return without question.
As usual, great food, great service, reasonable pricing.
The curries we had were very tasty, a limitless heat but not that bad. The appetizer plate is amazing.
The food, as always, was excellent and the service was very good. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
Excerpt Taken from my FB Dining page posted 11/09:
The atmosphere is modern yet not cold. I loved the open kitchen watching the cooks and chef’s do their thing. They even had a bar that you could sit at if you wanted an up close and personal view. Being a newer establishment, the dining room and kitchen gleamed. The host and server very warm and welcoming which made the atmosphere even more relaxing.
We started with the Spring roll , coconut shrimp and the tom yum soup. The spring rolls were perfectly cooked and very tasty. I great balance of vegetables with not one of them over powering the others. The wraps, crispy and airy with no greasy aftertaste while the accompanying sweet chili dipping sauce added a nice sweet bite in your mouth. We were not really impressed with the shrimp, they seemed over cooked with very little flavor. The Tom Yum neither liked. It was WAY too heavy on the fish sauce it took over all the other flavors of the soup and left a kind of filmy aftertaste on your pallet. For the entre, I had the Pad Pak Ruam with Steak. Shane opted for the Pad Thai with shrimp. All you could taste was fish sauce. So much so, that it was almost inedible. The beef, shrimp, vegetables and noodles were cooked perfectly but, you just couldn’t enjoy it.
For dessert, we opted for Gluay Tod (Banana Fritter) with ice cream. It was "okay" be definitely something we would not order again. Too greasy.
As we were leaving I asked my husband what he thought before I said my opinion. It was the first time he has flat out said he would not go back. I was surprised. It is usually me with the strong comments. But, in this case, he just said it wasn’t worth giving it another try. I have to say though; the service and atmosphere was wonderful, and I would definitely give it another go and maybe just ask the staff to lay off on the fish sauce.
The food was amazing, a little spicy but very good tasting. The wine was reasonably priced too
This is one our favorite restaurants at NOTL. Great quality and flavorful foods. Worth the drive.
The restaurant was recommended to my group of 4 girlfriends, as the new place in town. We found the atmosphere to be "just okay" Not a lot of character. (but that is a style preference.
Tow of us ordered coconut shrimp as a appetizer and it came 5 minutes later than the appetizers ordered by the 2 other ladies.
I was served the wrong main dish and by the time the right one arrived, my friends had almost finished their meals. To add to that, I did not enjoy the Pad Thai.
The waitress tried to be considerate by bringing over 2 desserts (on the house) but none of us were hungry at that point. I would have appreciated my meal to be "no charge" instead.
The place has potential and some of the meals looked great. (my friends were happy with theirs) I would give it another shot, but I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone until I was satisfied.
Food was good, hot when it arrived to the table. Service was excellent. Try the coconut rice and mango desert it was fantastic.
Solid, authentic Thai food. Our favorites were the fresh spring rolls and the green curry with chicken which had a rich cocoanut sauce that soaked into the jasmine rice. Our waitress was one of the most accommodating servers and never missed a beat when we made some special requests.
As we were celebrating our daughter's birthday, she received a delicious on-the-house dessert.
Many thanks !
This was the best Thai food I have ever eaten!!!
I wish I lived closer!
The food was delicious, the service was great! Excellent meal before the theatre.
A favorite stop every time we visit Niagara on the Lake.
Sue is a wonderful server.
Nice meal--pretty setting.
Service was slow and the food took a long time to arrive and it was boiling hot that we could not eat it for a long time. Very noisy.
