This just one of the many times I have been to Next over the years. The food was great and the service was top notch without being pretentious. I had the duck breast and I loved it.
Outstanding in every way. I have been to 5 restaurants in Paris, Rome, New York, L. A., Florence etc and Next is right there. We plan to go again next week.
We are just concerned that there is not enough tables and people with exceptional palates to help it last long, ha.
Great for lunch or Dinner. We frequent this establishment quit often. Never disappointed.
As usual a great experience!
Great place for a quiet dinner for two or more. Food was excellent and so was service. It was a romantic place for a date . There was a large selection of wine. There was a wide choice of food. We enjoyed and know that you will too.
My wife and I had a fantastic evening with great service from our waiter Johnny and a pleasant discussion with the owner Tom . Tom is a great wine enthusiast with a huge selection of some really good and unusual wines . Having just moved to the area just over a year ago this is without doubt the best we have found .
5th time here and we'll be back again. Excellent food, wine, service!
Nice place - it has obviously been completely remodeled. Great Wine selections!
Next Bistro Outstanding, Food, Wine, and Service!!
Food was amazing. Probably the best seafood on the metroplex.
Very nice local dining. Food was excellent along with the service. Little expensive but very nice.
Loved the food, it was delicious and creative. The atmosphere was relaxing, quiet, and lovely
Never disappoints. Wonderful food, great locations, excellent atmosphere.
Had not been since renovation. Great job! We went for restaurant week lunch and had the watermelon salad and mahi-mahi entree. So 😋 yummy. Finished up with peach cobbler (glad we did). Server was excellent. Thanks for great experience. Will be back soon.
Our waiter was less than interested to be there helping us. Then, our food was not very warm when it came out. For the prices on the menu, I would recommend choosing a different restaurant where you get your money’s worth.
Beautiful remodel of this space. Unfortunately, the food at lunch was not so good. The wagyu meatloaf had an overwhelming herb/spice taste my husband couldn't identify but he definitely did not like. My halibut was overcooked, dry and served on a bed of tasteless creamed leeks. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing, but in any event, we do not plan on returning to eat at Next Bistro.
Next is always a great adventure with cuisine and friends.
Great 1st date spot ... started with calamari & then had the veal Spaghetti and meat sauce ... was amazing
My date had the Tuna. And the rum cake and coffee finished the meal nicely.
Everything was very good. Especially the Fried okra and peach cobbler♥️
Always glad to support Colleyville restaurants
2nd time here, food and service very good and excellent wine selection. Nice place to be able to enjoy a nice, quiet dinner where you can actually hear each other without shouting! Only issue which will not keep me from going back, quit charging $2 , for bread please! 🐶
The restaurant is newly remodeled and the menu was new. The food was amazing and the staff was truly friendly/knowledgeable/informative and also patient.
I enjoyed it and would go back as often as possible.
Next is our favorite area restaurant. Last night was absolutely perfect. The renovations made recently are tasteful and elegant. We both had perfectly executed sea bass after sharing their excellent fried calamari.
Wine suggestions from our very knowledgeable server were on point. Dinner ended with gorgeous and delicious Grand Marnier souffles and a perfect tawny port for me.
Next Bistro just finished their interior remodeling and it was very nice. Their menu offers something for everyone. I was very impressed by their wine list, especially the number of half bottle options.
The wonderful renovation of the best restaurant in the mid-cities is stylish and elegant. The food is beautiful and perfectly executed. Today for lunch I had the best pastrami (house made) I have ever eaten. My husband is a huge fan of the Cobb salad. Dessert was perfect peach cobbler made with Parker County peaches. If you have not yet eaten at this gem, make a reservation today.
I love this little place, the service is great and the food is delicious. It is a little pricey but quality is very good.
Went here for my birthday. They have a wonderful wine list. Our waiter, Johnny, was a pleasure to interact with. The elk was fantastic. The foie gras seemed to be a little frozen in the middle but tasted good. The baked brie was delicious. The bread was almost cake like and very tasty.
Great experience. Service was great... great ambience. Watermelon salad was incredible. We'll be back again.
The service was very good - attentive staff that provided good input on recommendations and the daily specials. We had a crab/avocado/mango appetizer to start that was very good and fresh. For entrees we had yellowfin tuna, lobster risotto, and duck - all were excellent. The chocolate deserts were fantastic. They have a great wine selection and very good wines by the glass.
Very nice meal. Food was prepared properly and presented well.
Second time for dinner and service and food were great again. Consitency we can count on.
Great good and service, always! Have never had a bad experience here, and that's why we continue to go to NEXT! Great staff and always a great menu!
Great place. Not inexpensive but the food is always wonderful. The elk is outstanding as are the many appetizers. Waitstaff know what they are doing and can make helpful suggestions.
I had not been to Next Bistro before and decided to give it a try. I had no idea what a great restaurant this is. The service was stellar, our waiter, Francois (from France) pacing the meal expertly, explaining the wide variety on the menu well, and doing a great job keeping our meal going at exactly the right tempo. The menu is pretty extensive leaning toward French cuisine with Italian and Asian influences and I had no idea what to expect. My typical experience in fine dining restaurants all over the metroplex through the years has been a gradual let down the further one gets from the appetizer. Most of them stumble badly somewhere along the meal and don't live up to any of the hype surrounding them. Next Bistro is the great exception. The food was stellar - everything we had was delicious, beautifully presented, perfectly portioned, and just terrific. My wife had Veal Porcini Bolognese - it was the best bolognese I've ever had around DFW and I've eaten in all the high end restaurants at one time or another. My Sesame seared Yellow Fin Tuna was perfect. The show stoppers were the dessert shuffles we had - Bananas Foster and Grand Marnier, easily the best souffles I've eaten in years. I could go on, but it gets too long, just go there and enjoy.
Excellent food and service. Great wine list.
I love this place.
Ever since learning they inherited the staff and chef from Arlington’s now closed Cacharel, we do not miss an opportunity to go to Next… amazing menu with soufflé! What’s not to love?
Great food, a little on the expensive side in relation to value. The semi classic feel, low ceiling, home setting not my cup of tea.
Spot on food. Nice variety and all cooked to perfection. A class wine list as well.
Lovely summer evening with friends. Everyone shared and enjoyed crab tower and pepper appetizers. I had fabulous Tuna tostada as an entree. Others loved the Tuna steak, flatiron steak and pasta dish.. no complaints....
We went there for a birthday celebration. There were 4 in our party. The appetizers were good. My entree was the cedar plank sushi grade salmon. The salmon was good, however I only ate 3 bites of it, bc when I took a bite of my vegetables, I bit into broken glass from what appeared to be pieces of a plate. We told the waiter, he took my plate away and all he did was take that entree off of our bill. I would have thought he would’ve comped our bottle of wine or anything. Our bill was over $300, we tipped over 20%, and will never go back.
