Sous-Vide Niman Ranch Double Pork Chop
with Turkish Aleppo pepper and Dijon mustard sauce
Always exceptional food and service. The mushroom risotto was fantastic. Nice quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
Our waiter, Maude did and excellent job. Very helpful with wine selections and well as meal knowledge. Made our dining experience pleasant and fun.
The food is amazing. The place is quiet and nice inside. The wine list is incredible. My service last night was very poor. It is expensive for small portions but beyond delicious !! I like to tell friends about it. I did have a bad waitress last night. The times before it was fine.
The only thing good about this restaurant is the atmosphere, but that was quickly ruined by the extremely slow and poor (borderline rude) service and mediocre food. This was our first and last time going to this establishment. I hope others don't have my experience, but I won't ever be going back there!
Wine list here is extensive and fun to explore. Our Server was great but the food was not very good. Ordered 2 steaks and 2 pasta dishes. The pasta was good but the steaks we ordered were not seasoned at all. The one steak was under cooked had to send it back for more grill time. It was better but still very little flavor. Sides were not very flavorful either. Prices we felt were comparable to better known steakhouse nearby but the quality of the food just was not there to support $$$. Sorry to say we like to support local business but this one I think we will skip next time.
The waiter forgot our appetizer and we didn't get it until after our salads.
The food was very good with great selection of wine.
Good & service were fantastic, as usual! We always look forward to dining at Next Bistro! Truly a Colleyville gem!
Always a winner
Food was really terrible. We could not eat the Beef Crostini appetizer. The meat was tough and the sauce was just not good.
We then ordered the “smoked” salmon with spinach Ravioli. It was clear they had taken a packaged smoked salmon and pan fried it. The ravioli was chewy and not cooked appropriately. The prices were outrageous for this restaurant also.
Not a good experience at all.
We revisited one of our favorite restaurants and were not disappointed. Salads are excellent, duck and shrimp scampi enjoyed, desserts always a treat. Service was excellent.
We didn’t care for the appetizers. We tried the fried okra and fried Visalia onion. The entries were delicious. We had lasagna and scallops. Shared the peach cobbler and ice cream.
For a “small” restaurant, it’s offerings are extensive and varied with a notable wine and spirits list.
Excellent food, excellent service, as always!
Terrible. Really felt bad for staff. Not going again. Been there in past.
Perfect spot for ladies who do lunch. Lovely ambiance, interesting and delicious menu, and lots of wine options. Definitely recommend!
As usual, Next Bistro did not disappoint. The service was attentive, the menu has some very creative dishes, the food was hot and delicious, and the wine list is impressive. Highly recommend.
Great restaurant, great food, great wine list.
Food is great but maybe a little overpriced. My real complaint was the service. Pushy when you didn’t want them to be (like while I was reading the very large wine list) and not there when you needed them (like when I wanted another drink).
This was a wonderful surprise in the heart of sleepy Colleyville! I was a little concerned at the long list of menu items, but it was great bistro style cooking and all the diners were happy with their choices.
Lovely meal, Lovely waitress, Maude, and an overall good experience.
Our table was right by the front area and in front of the wine rack, so it made it harder to hear and was a bit busy.
Overall the food was good. My pork chop was pretty good, a little overdone. The spinach salad was good--but way too much dressing--so I will ask for it on the side next time.
The sides of spinach and deconstructed cornbread were delicious.
Awesome food, wine list, excellent service.
We chose Next for dinner with our children (20 and 17) because we wanted them to experience excellent, creative food served by friendly and knowledgeable waiters. We were thrilled and enjoyed our meal and the service!
Excellent menu and food. Great service!
Great restaurant, one of our favorites for many years!
The best duck in DFW
We went to an early (6:30pm) dinner at Next on a Monday night. There was 1 table with 3 guest and a couple at the bar, so not very busy. We were greeted and seated immediately. There were 2 servers and 1 bartender. Although 1 server was assigned to our table both visited pretty frequently to ensure we had everything we needed also shared helpful information about the extensive wine list and dinner menu. Everything was outstanding!! We started with burnt belly bites then I got a cesar salad and lamb chops, my date got watermelon salad and duck a l'orange. The service, the food, the wine - all outstanding. We will be back!!!
Great food, wine and service.
We really want to like Next, and we keep trying to make it work, but we are usually underwhelmed by the service, find the ambience so-so, and are amazed at how quickly you rack up an eye watering bill. Our server didn’t really know anything about the menu when we asked questions and seemed a little confused when we ordered things. “Dover sole? Oh, Ok, let me see...”. She asked how to spell Kir Royale and the drinks didn’t come until we were well past the appetizer and nearly on top of the main course. At least 20 minutes and it wasn’t like they were overrun. The food was (as usual) very good...everybody loved what they ordered and the desserts were divine. But when you have two adults and a kid, split an appetizer and split desserts, and go easy on the drinks (one cocktail and one glass of wine each for the adults) and still walk out at nearly $300, you scratch your head at the value for money proposition.
Great date night.
Been a while since we have eaten at NB. Food was outstanding.
Seated and then not addressed for nearly 15 minutes. Service improved after that.
What a lovely little hidden gem! Our food and service were both fantastic, the house cab at $7/glass during lunch was a win, what a treat! Great quiet place to celebrate and enjoy a meal!
Our waiter was not friendly and was very short with us. He did not introduce himself or the person who looked like she was shadowing him. No one checked on us or asked if we needed anything. It was lunchtime, and we asked for a to-go cup for a drink, and we were brought a dirty cup. The woman we mentioned it to was not apologetic and didn’t offer to bring another cup. No one said bye or thank you. I had told them ahead of time that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they didn’t mention that. We wouldn’t go back.
I needed a last minute reservation for Mother's Day and I'm so thankful for OpenTable and for finding the best kept secrete in Colleyville! Next Bistro was a gem! Everything was seasoned to perfection and FRESH! The 3 course menu was also reasonably priced. Our main server Johnny was very outgoing and fun. I can't wait to visit Next Bistro again!
Our servers were great! Very attentive. Would recommend.
Mother's Day brunch. Nice experience overall. Beef en croute was excellent. Omelet and Eggs Benedict with crab cakes were both too salty.
Always love this place, whether it's daytime or evening dining, consistently wonderful.
