   Small menu but that’s the beauty of it all! The server (husband of the chef) helped us pick out the right dishes. He was also very sweet and personable. Every dish seemed like it had the chef’s own twist to it meaning it wasn’t too traditional but every bite had so much complexity in flavors. Chef also is an amazing baker, ended up getting all three desserts they had that day! Definitely check this spot out.

   Amazingly creative versions of Filipino food! Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. Chef and husband were very accommodating, service was above and beyond. We had an excellent experience. I’ve been twice and can’t wait to go back. The place was also very inviting with all their beautiful plants.

   Brought my mom and son here for lunch. Was greeted immediately upon walking in and directed us to our reserved table. Upon ordering, VJ notified us what was not on the menu and offered suggestion as this was my mom’s first time. VJ asked about food allergies and told them of mine and suggested alternatives/modifications which I truly love. The food was amazing. Food came out hot and were big portions. Presentation was immaculate. The vibe is very homey and bright that you know when walking in, you feel that they put their heart and soul into this business and want people to keep coming back. Upon leaving, VJ told us about upcoming events which is also posted on their IG. I always come here happy and leave with a full and happy stomach. Their pastries and drinks are also a big plus.

   My experience at Next Door Provisions was excellent. My favorite dish may have been the Kare Kare Mafaldini, which is surprising as I normally do not eat traditional Kare Kare from other Filipino restaurants. Going for Sunday brunch was a great choice, we got to hear about the most popularly ordered dishes, the hospitality was wonderful, and I am excited to come visit again.

    It was an absolutely flawless and incredible experience and a part of Jersey City. You don’t often go to. One of the most dynamic and interesting restaurants I’ve been in a very long time !
