   Another great celebratory evening and meal at Newman's. Very nice service, well attended, timely and seamless delivery of absolutely delicious and well-prepared food. We'll be back and perhaps staying a couple of nights.

   First time visit with family with out of town visitors. Quaint historical inn with resident cat and dog to greet you upon arrival. Nice views from outdoor porch dining area. Simply prepared fixed course menu with right amount of choices. Service was good with a long, but welcome pause before the final dessert course. Small but ample wine list. Could use more customer restrooms. We will return!

   Newman’s Restaurant at the Orchard Inn in Saluda, NC has been our go-to place for special occasions and special friends for 35 years. Our 45th anniversary was no exception. The food, service and ambiance are second to none in the western NC mountains. Our meals were excellent and their apple strudel was as good as my German grandmother’s! Highly recommended.

   We live about 40 minutes away from Newman's Restaurant at the Orchard Inn but try to get there at least 3 times a year for dinner or brunch. The setting is outstanding - reminding us of New England Country Inns - and the views from the veranda (where we prefer to sit) are a true delight. And we haven't even gotten to the food and service yet - which are both outstanding. We have stayed overnight in the past, but now don't mind the drive. Every time we leave, we are already looking forward to our next visit.

   Another great visit for me and I took 3 friends that were just as impressed with the atmosphere as I was. Matt was a great server and I highly recommend the Orchard Inn to others!

   Newman's, as always, did an outstanding job, food, service, location and ambiance can not be beat. Always leave looking forward to our next visit.

   We found the food to be just okay and significantly overpriced. Our biggest disappointment, however, was the service, which steadily declined as the meal progressed. The worst came with dessert—ironically the best part of the brunch—when I was left with only my used fork to eat strudel and ice cream. Our server was nowhere to be found, and this was after we had already waited at least ten minutes for dessert to arrive following our main course. It was my wife's birthday, and we had been looking forward to something special. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a most forgettable experience.

   Our first time at Newman’s. Exceeded our expectations. Add in the beautiful view, brunch was a wonderful experience.

    We have been eating at Newmans for years, and have never been disappointed! The staff have always made us feel as though we are the only ones there! Our waitress, Tammy is awesome beyond words! The in is always an unforgettable experience!
