Welcome to The Newbold Crown. We pride ourselves on delivering a great customer experience within our fantastic friendly pub. Our staff are looking forward to serving you with our new fantastic range of drinks and seasonal menu of pub classics. Enjoy relaxing in our bar trying our cask ales whilst watching the live sports events, out in the large beer gardens with a refreshing bottle of prosecco, or have a cosy catch up in one of our seating booths. Our new menu will certainly not disappoint. The little ones are catered for also with a children's menu to keep them full and a large beer garden out the back to keep them entertained. We can cater for all occasions and provide a buffet service.

I booked a table to dine at The Crown pub but on arrival we were informed that they haven’t served food for over a year so we left and went somewhere else. Very disappointing.

Didn't serve food although this platform allowed us to book a table so that needs putting right however I didn't want to mark it down for something we didn't have as the landlord was happy for is to get fish n chips opposite and eat them outside in the garden. Decent pub

did not know we were coming even though we had booked on line. menu nowhere near what was available in house. However the food available was cooked to perfection and staff friendly.

Was expecting to order delicious pub food, but all they could offer me is chips and a sausage. I have no idea why they would advertise food on thier website when thier in none on offer. My beer was stale and it had a funky metalic taste, lines to thier kegs are probably dirty. Terrible experience!

Attempted to eat here as part of a canal trip. Called up after making the reservation and told they’re not doing food as the person is the only one there. Said in an rude accusatory way like I somehow should have known that! In general such a bizarre phone call and experience. Woody have been told this otherwise as booking all went through fine, and we would not have been able to eat that evening.

Never got to eat made booking only to be told kitchen doesnt open in evening. Second timea booking at this pub has been cancelled, not impressed with pub or this site to be honest.

Staff were very friendly and helpful but gave the impression they were new to the job. The 'on line' menu is not the same as the 'in house' menu. There are similarities but there is no 'light bite' section on the in house version. The food was tasty and value for money and served without delay. It is also dog friendly.

DO NOT BOOK A TABLE THEY DON’T SERVE FOOD!!!! We Booked a table online for a meal as we were on the canal near by. We ordered our drinks then asked where our table was. We were told that they don’t serve food and it was the brewery’s fault allowing us to book a table through the website, even though they had pictures of the food on the wall and a sign on the bridge by the canal saying they served hot food! We were told if you want to eat there is a chip shop across the road, this is not what we came out for. In the end we booked two cabs as there were six in our party to go the harvester as it was the only place nearby that was still serving food at a cost of £40 for the round trip.

Pub advised Kitchen was closed and app shouldn't have let us book a table. Waste of time. Check with the pubs that they know how to inform you the kitchen is closed!!!!!!!
