New York Pizza & Pasta-River Chase
Food excellent and Rich who helped us was great! Definitely recommend.
Best pizza in Naples. All homemade ingredisnts.good service.good drinks.new York Italian food.
Prices are high portions are small no bread you are given an option to buy bread. There must be some kind of a car club that meets behind this building as they raced up and down from the back of the building with loud mufflers. Sad it used to be pretty good.
We return because of th food. The servixe is lacking. Too little waiter for the crowd.
Poor service from the minute we arrived and then reported us as a no show to Open Table.
The pizza was outstanding. We brought two couples with us and they both agreed, the best pizza in Naples. New York Pizza would definitely be our go to pizza place back home on Long Island. Wait staff excellent...friendly and willing to make recommendations. Alexa was spot on. A great place all around. We will be returning often.
EXCELLENT food and service. I would highly recommend it. We are outdoors which was GREAT. I do NOT recommend indoors as it is VERY noisy.
Our foursome had the Pasta Primavera (bland), Eggplant Parmesan (good - not over cheesy), Calamari Fra Diavolo (excellent - spicy hot this time -hotness can be inconsistent), Pasta Bolognese (good), salads (fine), and cannoli (very good but on the sweet side). All nice presentations. Waiter was excellent, giving us plenty of time to review the menu and keeping soft drinks topped up. We sat outside and were disturbed periodically by VERY loud car that periodically (every 20 minutes or so) cruised the adjacent parking lot.
Best place for pizza in Naples!
Large salad was not that large. Large pizza was not that large. Portions were smaller than expected.
Great pizza, right up there with the best.
It was bad. Twice now I have eaten there, both times the waiter was to busy to help or get the orders right. Both times I ordered pizza to go and both times the waiter forgot to place the order. I will take my business elsewhere.
I would recommend that people only pay CASH. My friend’s credit card was compromised when we were there. Someone used her card but luckily the credit card company caught it.
I am not sure if I will go there again.
Great pizza but also very good regular Italian food. Three options for dining, inside in the pizza parlor , inside in a dining room with high and low tables with a bar and TV’s or outside under cover. Also a very active take out place.
Kevin, our waiter, did a great job dealing with our part of 8. This was our first visit to this restaurant and I am sure we will be coming back.
Pasta dishes were outstanding, as usual!
It was packed, but we had a reservation and our table was ready on time.
Our server was friendly, but felt he took us for granted. Didn't have alcohol, and had to ask for refills on iced tea and even had to ask for bread.
But we'll be back--food too good to keep us away!
The best pizza in the Naples area. Very busy this time of year, service not up to par.
Our party of 4 was seated right on time. Nicole was our most pleasant waitress who served the cocktails to enjoy before our Fried Ravioli. Being from StL, we decided to compare the Fried Ravioli with the Toasted Ravioli in STL. We found the cheese centered Fried Ravioli to be lacking in flavor compared to the meat centered Toasted Ravioli.
The Veal Francesca was prepared to our satisfaction with a flavorful sauce smothering the tender veal.
Nicole handled our difficult party with friendly and courteous professionalism. She was great, but the kitchen missed a few requests that were missed by the delivery personnel, like pasta on a side dish.
[We also like Rich, but were very happy with Nicole!]
Always great pizza. home made ingrediants, served hot and filling. Best pizza in naples.
PIZZA and a HEADACHE: excellent Brooklyn-style pizza, good service but incredibly loud noise level with screaming kids and parents who think they’re cute.
The food was good, the booth was tight for 6 people. Service was quick and server was there when needed him
The food was good, service excellent, but very noisy
Love the food and the service is friendly and quick. It's just super noisy in there so it's not a place for a quiet romantic dinner but a great place for good food that's reasonably priced.
Seriously lately ever time we go out for a pizza , we go to NewYork pizza . The food is good but the service is very slow:) we may not go back 😒
Love the food and service! It's just a little loud!
Sat 6 adults in a booth, no way to move comfortably. Pizza came out 10 minutes before 4 meals came. 2 Adults were eating there pizza while 4 waited for there meal
Excellent food in a lively atmosphere
Worst visit there ever. Total confusion and poor service. Pizza was great as usual, but salads not so much. We go there often, and are big fans, but this visit certainly set the low end of the scale.
Food was excellent. Server did his very best, but could have used some help as he was the only server in the Lounge.
New York style is always a good choice. Their pastas are consistently good and their menu is varied enough to satisfy everyone. It is one if the few restaurants in Naples where you can go after 9 and still get an excellent dinner.
I haven’t been in a while and have to say will probably never go back. We had a reservation at 7pm for 8 people, seated at our table for 30 minutes- not ONE wait person came to our table - not even to give us water. I had to get up and ask someone where our server was and if we could get water!?? Than that even took 10 more minutes. After we ordered our food and drinks it took another 45 minutes for pizza??
Saturday night last minute craving for Veal Francesca drove us to one of our Naples favorites NYPP. We were able to beat the rush and were seated just before a few large parties arrived, which I think may have slowed the kitchen down a bit.
Being from St. Louis and liking 'Toasted Ravioli', we thought we would try the Fried Ravioli an NYPP. Not bad, but having a cheese center instead of meat kept it from comparing to the taste of toasted ravioli.
The Veal Francesca was superb as usual and Dirk did a good job on a busy night that saw James hustling along with the rest of the crew.
Needed more staff, VERY loud. Waiter worked hard but had to cover way too many tables to be truly effective.
Great place. Quality food and service. Dinner cost less than a drink at the pool at Ritz Carlton!
Love the pozza
The check in lady did not even bother to check my reservations even though I told her that I made reservations through Opentable. She proceeded to seat us. While we were eating , the restaurant called my cell phone to say that we had not showed up for our reservations . Our server Dale did an excellent job of servicing us.
The restaurant needs to fix their reservation/check in process. A major gap.
The food was excellent.
We had a reservation for 6:30 we arrived 15 minutes early . First they wanted to put us in the bar and move some tables together or we could wait 15-20 minutes we decided to wait the 15 minutes since we were early . We waited for over one hour to be seated. The waiter was very pleasant but rarely came around only refilling our drinks once the entire time we were there. We ordered a white pizza with spinach when it arrived no spinach he took it back to add some 10 minutes later it came back completely burnt but with spinach on it no apology. After the meal the waiter brought the bill and handed it to my wife stating she already paid and handed her the receipt to sign ( he charged it to another persons card ( no my wife’s). We have eaten here many times. This was not their best. The restaurant has truly slipped over the years and it’s a shame because they make a great pizza usually
