Extremely Disappointed – Discriminatory Behavior I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this establishment was deeply upsetting and cannot be overlooked. My wife and I were the only Indian customers present, and it was painfully obvious that we were being deliberately ignored by the staff. Servers attended to every table around us—while completely avoiding ours. We were neither welcomed nor served in a timely or respectful manner. This behavior was not just poor service; it felt overtly racist and exclusionary. No one deserves to be treated like they are invisible simply because of their race or ethnicity. In 2025, it is unacceptable for any business to operate with such blatant bias. We left feeling disrespected, humiliated, and deeply hurt. I hope the management takes this seriously and addresses the issue. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone—especially to people of color.

The food was great. I especially liked the maple bourbon bacon wings. The setting was beautiful with a great view of whiteface. The hostess and server did a great job. I recommend this place to everyone that wants to go out for a good night out. The price was also very reasonable along with a generous amount of food.

The perfect ski lodge vibe! Amazing space that brings you back to the 70s, just without the bell bottoms and bad hair. Bar area was great, and the ping pong and pool table provided some competitive apres dinner fun.

Had a 7:00 reservation got seated right away that ma the highlight of the evening. For 20 minutes we were not acknowledged at all. No bread , no water , nothing !!! Decided to go to the bar to get drinks. The bartender was way over her head , the taps weren’t working. Finally got drinks sat back down another 15 min go by and nothing. Started hearing people around us talking how they didn’t get their meals , got food at different times , waiting forever food and check. Finally we decided to leave and go to the Hungry Trout where we got food and great service. Don’t come here !!! It’s a disaster !!!

It is clear that New Vida has some kinks to work out in the staffing area, the staff is friendly, but runs from almost non- existent to clearly understaffed and stressed during busy dinner/ cocktail time. The atmosphere is a home run and menu selections are good. My husband and I both had to send our dinners back, initially. They gave him the wrong meal and my fries were stone cold and toppings on my burger were wrong. However, it was only a few minutes until they corrected the mistake and dinner was enjoyable and delicious. I could see that, in general, people were having trouble getting drinks and served in a timely manner. I would give it another try. For us, the good outweighed the bad, but they need to figure out staffing, in general.
