Fabulous food and great service! Definitely recommend!
We saved the best for last. This was the best meal we had while visiting The Big Easy!! Everything was wonderful. We had the blackened redfish with a medley of roasted potatoes and Cajun spiced green beans. Go, you won’t be sorry!!!
Always a wonderful meal and service (Benjamin did a great job!)
I do miss the soft lighting on the courtesy though (and the skeleton watching over the diners though). It’s the only time each year I will eat char-grilled oysters. They are worth the wait every time! I would love for you all to bring back the 12 platter in which you get 3 of each (char-grilled, bienville, and Rockefeller. Can’t wait to see you all next year!
Waitress brought appetizer, salad, and entrees all at once. Entrees were cold by the time we ate the salads and appetizer. Then she brought us our check without asking about desert. Food was just OK, but pretty expensive for what you got. Service was terrible, won't go again.
THE SERVER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND INVITING!!! The food and the drinks were awesome!!
Wonderful food and service! Lovely courtyard
We were sat between two loud parties. Service was slow and not attentive. Server was a little rude to another table but not to us directly. The entree was pretty good. The veggies were under seasoned. The patio seemed like it had a better ambiance. Dessert was really good!
Started with being told we couldnt use the groupon we bought earlier that day. Which was a lie. Then my friend got a different salad than they ordered and then the waiter argued with us. Then told at the end of the meal we couldnt split the check even though we saw no signs.
We ate here twice during our 6 day vacation! The food was delicious and our service was great both visits. We had lunch and dinner. Didn’t care much for the drink I had, The Big Easy, but it had nothing to do with the preparation of it.
We definitely want to visit NOLA again and will make the restaurant a place to hit up again.
Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. The filet would melt in your mouth and the fish and shrimp was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Would definitely go back!
Unfortunately service was terrible from the hostess to the server and food quality is just not there for the price. We've eaten at a lot of places in the quarter, but Unfortunately Cannot recommend this one.
Service and treatment was everything and more. Food was delish.
Outstanding. Great atmosphere. Great customer care. Loved Montrell a/k/a ‘Money’ who skillfully shucked oysters and prepared them deliciously. Awesome experience.
On the expensive side, but very good food and service!
Best red beans and rice ever
Great staff beautiful scenery
First time in New Orleans, the guidebook recommended it, it was delicious and nice athmosphere
Food and Service was good. We had a nice table by a window.
They made us leave our Hurricanes at the hostess desk and didn’t let us bring them in with us. Another table had their outside hurricane cocktails with them at their table. When we left we got our hurricanes back, but there were bugs in them. Mine was nearly full. For that policy, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Terrible food. Horrible customer service. Waiter was great as he did the best he could given direction from upper management. Would not split the tab up demanding 3 cards in order to settle the tab. There were none of us. Not cool. It wasn’t even crowded.
Horrible food seafood boil was very underwhelming especially for the price Not the Cajun boil you’d expect under seasoned and overcooked. Manager not willing to help make experience better. Don’t waste money and time.
Mother and daughter day
The food was just okay but the lack of service made it worse. We had to ask 4 times for bread before it was brought over to us. The dish that my husband ordered was no longer available so the waiter came over and said he ordered something else for him, without even asking. Then he brought out the wrong dish anyway and had to go back in the kitchen to get the correct meal. When he brought our meal, he wanted to drop off our check then as well. We told him that we were going to order dessert later. He never came by and asked us how everything was. It wasn’t even a busy night. I would never go back to this place as it was lackluster all around.
We loved sitting in the Courtyard and had a great meal.
Food amazing and the banana foster was beyond describable. Our waiter was helpful with a good sense of humor
Great taste of the heart of the city! We came here twice during our trip!
The food was awesome and the location is so close to Bourbon Street that we walked there after watching a parade on Canal Street.
What's not to love?
Dinner was delicious, well priced, great service. Highly recommended.
if friend looking for a romantic birthday dinner-no
The food was amazing. Something in my order got mixed up, bu
Never got our food
Good ambiance. Good service. A little bit too fast but ok.
Outstanding as usual. Come here every time I’m in NOLA!
We booked a table for two at 8:00pm, between parades. We were seated right away. 10 minutes later a server filled our water glasses say our server would be available soon. At 8:30 I talked to the hostesses that we had not had any service. Her response "It's Carnival, what do you expect? " The restaurant was not full. A quarter of the tables were empty. 8:35 a sever arrived and took our order. Then food came out fast, hot, and delicious. So much food neither of us finished our plates.
It was fine but nothing special. With so many options in NOLA to choose from, we probably won’t race back.
Wonderful Jambalaya. Portions are huge so if you have already been gorging yourself through town, you may want to split this dish. Oh, and don't follow where Google maps tells you it is. It is NOT on Decatur Street.
