   Food is superb. Waitstaff is kind but I think overwhelmed. Dinner took 2 1/2 - 3 hours which was unpleasant. Also much, much too loud!

   Great menu and delicious food. Very good service. Special occasion for us, and the international staff helped to make it special. Sat at a booth upstairs, which was pleasant. However, this area is where the occasional distant rumble from a machine downstairs was softly discernible. Pricey, but still well worth it. Hope to return again in the near future.

    The food is very good and the cocktails are excellent Our food came out awkwardly spaced, I got my app a few minutes before my husband but they were good. Server was very nice. Maybe a touch pricey but not the worst out there.

    Everything about the experience was good except for the fact that the service was just a tad bit slow. But the restaurant was quite full and I only saw 3 very hardworking women in view so it may have been a staffing issue. Very good dining experience overall.

    The "new" New Heights was excellent! Really enjoyed the halibut with coconut rice and broccolini--great Thai flavors. The pistachio ricotta cake was a sweet ending to the meal. Good service and beautiful space. Highly recommend!

    We came for Valentine's Day dinner and had a fantastic time! One of the owners served us, and she was warm, responsive and joyful. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. So grateful to have this gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood.

    The food and ambience are excellent, service very good. But don't come here unless you live in the neighborhood or plan to use Metro or Uber/Lyft. There is no valet parking, no public garage nearby, and a spot on the street is nearly impossible to find. I let our party off at the door and then cruised far and wide before finding a place nearly into Rock Creek Park, a half mile from the restaurant. I arrived at our table a half hour after letting them off. Since new owners and chef took over, the restaurant is nicely remodeled, and the menu is outstanding. The tempura mushroom fries were fantastic. So was the kale and mushroom paella. My wife loved the tuna poke tacos, and our guest was similarly taken with the pan seared halibut. Warning: The peanut soup doesn't taste like peanuts. Chocolate pot de creme was amazing. Service was very good, though occasionally on the slow side. While wife and guest finished dessert and sat over coffee they said was delicious, I trekked the half mile back to the car and returned to pick them up. Did I mention there is no valet parking??

    This was my third dinner at New Heights since late December—each with different companions, and each meal as delightful as the prior. I have especially loved the velvety halibut, the burrata-tomato salad, the honey cake and crème brûlée. My dining companions have variously sworn by the beef medallions, the mussels, the peanut soup, and the chocolate pot de crème. Those who tried the mock- tail on the menu found it too sweet. The two diners who tried the vegetarian “paella” gave it a thumbs up, adding that it would be even more interesting with more seasoning. The service at New Heights has been uniformly excellent. The bartender is charming and, I hear, very good at his job.

    This was our 1st time eating at New Heights. We noticed how quiet it was as soon as we walked in—a rare find these days. The Restaurant Week menu was impressive & the food & accompanying champagne were all perfect! Very sweet waitress, as well. We’ll definitely be back!

    We went during restaurant week, and selected New Heights because they offered a great selection of dishes for the RW menu. Compared to other restaurants, their offerings were much more expansive. Each course was incredibly delicious. I had tuna tartar, rack of lamb and banana bread pudding. All were fabulous. I will definitely go back again. I hadn't been in about 20 years, and had forgotten how great it was. THANKS

    The food was excellent, especially the cheese fondue. The entry - tenderloin - was excellent but the portion served was a bit small for the price. The ambiance was lovely and for a Saturday evening, it was easy to hear and talk. I highly recommend the restaurant. As an aside, the owner and several servers are Ukrainians who have family members on the front lines in the war. Our dining experience was heightened by our discussion with them.

    Nice setting and excellent service. The food was good, but nothing special, and it was pricey. The borscht soup was quite good. The mushroom "fries" were a disappointment. No taste and greasy. We probably won't return anytime soon.

    Four excellent dinners. Two of us had the branzino, one the halibut, and one the fairly new shrimp and fettuccini dinner. All were excellent. The one cocktail we had was terrific (a smokey mezcal concoction), and our service was exemplary. Kudos to the resurrected New Heights.

    My wife and I enjoyed our meal! She had the Branzino and I had the tenderloin. Both entrees were great! We also had the ceviche for an appetizer and the pistachio ricotta for desert. Both dishes were terrific! The service was fantastic! We highly recommend New Heights!

    Had a lovely meal with friends who were last at the restaurant 20(?) years ago. The pork buns were the outstanding appetizer and the seafood dishes also outstanding, while all were very rich. Pistachio ricotta cheesecake was very light, a great finish to the meal.
