Very very yummy appys and sides. The fluke, chicken liver toast and pastrami were outstanding. Also very good beets and caesar salad. The steak was a skip. Overall would definitely visit again.

Food was good overall experience bad! We had great expectations. The food was good. Fluke and salad were good Unfortunately, it took 30 minutes between clearance of first course plates and getting the mains. No apologies and the stake was completely cold! The second server suggested a new one which took over 20 minutes to get. Meanwhile we were offered some complimentary house pastrami (very good) Featured trout was ok. Babka desert was very good. Overall a huge disappointment bad experience for what was supposed to be a great evening.

Service was amazing! The value for the food was very expensive. One of our steaks was all fatty. Another steak was way too rare instead of a medium. Never seen a smoked meat that comes without a bread. Only with mustard. We won’t be back. Sorry.

Linny’s is a standout—easily my new favourite restaurant. We shared the tasting menu and were blown away. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and the portions were more than generous. Highlights included the house-made, warm and pillowy challah, decadent chicken liver toast with shaved egg yolk, perfectly sliced king salmon with cream cheese and potato latkes, juicy Romanian steak topped with the most flavourful butter and roasted garlic. Finally, hands-down the best pastrami I’ve ever had (don’t skip it!). The sides—especially the fries, house salad and beets with cream and pistachios—were just as memorable. Plating is simple and refined and makes you want a bit of everything! Dessert was a rich chocolate babka with vanilla ice cream, big enough for 3 to share. Service was warm and impeccable, and the interior design is understated but simply stunning! I’ve also loved sitting at their bar on a previous visit and loved it. Linny’s just gets everything right!
