Set in the picturesque village of Medbourne, in the heart of the beautiful Welland Valley, The Nevill Arms is an old stable yard and coaching inn bordering on Medbourne brook. The Nevill has ten boutique bedrooms, a stunning restaurant, welcoming bar and our brand new Josper Bar & Grill which is set back in its own private courtyard.

It was recently bought in 2021 by The Three Goat's Group and has undergone a major refurbishment whilst still keeping its original character.

A really good country pub. We went there for a Saturday lunch. Good wine list, menu and staff were spot in. It's not the cheapest but it's value for money because the food is top quality. It's in a beautiful village with a stran running past.

This boutique hotel was a great find and we will definitely be going back. The rooms are really beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The menu was lovely and the food delicious, the portions are generous and I struggled to eat two courses! Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Really good service and atmosphere. The courtyard was a lovely surprise as from the front you do not realise how big it is.

Further away than most places we would go to for Sunday lunch but expected to be good given reputation. Didn’t live up to it. Cursory but Ok service. Main course of beef was cool and dried out having obviously been left standing. Veg were soggy and I hate having the whole thing on the plate in a big pile. At this price I expect serving dishes. Decor nice but atmosphere noisy with lots of young families and unnecessary music playing through speakers.

This is our 3rd visit to the Neville Arms. We think it has good potential but always leave disappointed to some extent. Uncomfortable seating, food cold when it arrives and not overly tasty. This time it felt as it the food had been standing for some time and was congealed a bit! We always enjoy friendly, competent service and like the ambiance and decoration of the Neville Arms, so hence we keep on trying...

Lovely service & staff. Excellent food. Ambience nice and calm. Catered well for children. Childrens food served quickly, our mains were a little too long but when they came were absolutely delicious.
