   Without question, the very best steakhouse in Reno on all levels. We come to enjoy on a tegular basis and will continue!!

   They were very busy and probably over booked to meet the customer needs. My filet steak was good but it contained about 3 ounces of fat and grizzle. Service was super slow because we waited one and half hours after ordering our dinner to get it.

   Surf n turf was very good. Rib eye steak was a disappointment. Burnt and tough. I was happy. Hubby not so much.

   Food very good. Wish they had a veggie side option instead of just a starch option with the meal. If you want a veggie instead of a starch, it's an additional starch. Escargot hardly had any garlic on it and was bland. Server didn't tell us of any specials and after we ordered, we heard the table next to us order the special. We were bummed because that is what we would've ordered. I guess we should've asked if there were any specials but usually the wait staff will offer it. The bus boy was outstanding and did most of the serving.

   It was a late reservation for my son’s birthday. The service was excellent and the meal was wonderful. I recommend this establishment highly.

   The food was delicious Service was great. We ordered off the sunset menu, which was the perfect amount of food.

   We come here each year when we visit my parents for the holidays. The four of us were SO looking forward to our little double date (myself, my boyfriend, my parents). NV steak did not disappoint, as usual! Marc was our server, he was very pleasant and answered our questions thoughtfully, he even went the extra mile to find out more about our wine menu inquiries. We ordered a lot of food, and Marc timed it all perfectly. The drinks were absolutely incredible; I had the Blush and Smoke Mescal cocktail and my boyfriend had the Sakuro (?) Sour. So good! We always appreciate how quiet and peaceful the ambience is, despite being inside of a casino. NV Steak will always be our special occasion spot when we visit Reno. Thank you Marc for the wonderful dinner experience! :)

    We had an absolutely incredible Christmas/anniversary dinner! The table was strewn with fresh rose petals to celebrate. The staff was attentive and professional. Angel kept our water glasses filled, brought us fresh, hot bread, and an appetizer boat, gratis. Turns out our waitress was married at exactly the same place we were, a year later. We had wonderful memories of being married at Tahoe, 40 years ago. My husband had surf and turf and the fillet was cooked perfectly, we got the Oscar topping for it, which was more crab than I've ever been served anywhere else, ever. The lobster tail with it was succulent, and so big we shared it! He got the gigantic twice baked potato and I got the au gratin potatoes, which were a work of art. I had the top sirloin and it was huge. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal and begged off dessert, but were presented with two candles on a beautiful plate, with wish to blow out an anniversary wish together. The prices were half what they would be anywhere else, their servings were double and the quality was comparable, if not better. We are going there for every celebration from now on. And bonus, it's in a casino, so we could have fun before and after! Thank you to all for such a special evening.
