   Food was excellent. Ordered the Sampler platter for 2 as an appetizer - delicious! Lots of samples - the Ahi tuna and spinich dip were especially yummy. Main course, we both ordered the Nevada Grill. I got twin tournedos & scallops, hubby got pork medallions and scallops - both very good. Included is salad, veggie, and starch choice (we both got he colossal baked potatoe with all the fixins on the side). Too full for dessert - but 5 desserts to choose from - only $6 each. Service was perfectly paced and server was attentive. Water glasses were frequently filled which I liked. Ordering additional bread & butter - came right away. Overall nice evening.

    Second trip here, this time for son’s college graduation. Arrived 20mins early but got seated. Restaurant was very empty for a Friday night. Our apps arrived quickly but that was all that arrived quickly for us. As we ordered our apps another party of four was seated behind us. They received their apps and entrees before we received entrees. It was in fact an hour before our entrees were served. By then half our party just boxed our food and left. The food was excellent, waiters pleasant but made no mention or apologies for the wait. Sadly we hyped the restaurant up for our graduate son and a visiting son, both whom had never been.

    Nevada Steak is one of my 'go-to' places for a good meal. Sadly, last night was a disappointment. The normally excellent filet mignon was allowed to cool on the plate prior to serving, and the meat was 'mushy' - really hard to describe, but a very subpar cut of meat, poorly prepared. There was only one server for the main dining room, which was also hosting a large private party. Management has the responsibility to ensure an adequate staff. Not the server's fault. I'll go back, but they need to take this commentary to heart, as their future will not be bright if the issues of last not are not addressed.

    We have gone numerous times. It is always excellent. Ore server Andrew and Jesus were very good. They were courteous at all times. When they came to table they spoke to us about things other just the meal. We like to get to know people taking care of us. And the food was great as usual.

    They offer true value with their Sunset Menu. Their twice-baked potatoes are amazing and huge. My husband’s Halibut was the best he’s had. Service is truly outstanding! Booths in the wine room are a bit tight. Hence ask for a nice table; they’re very comfortable.

    Fifth or so times dining at Nevada Steak. Last night was not a good experience. Waiter was pleasant and told us up front there had been a lot of turnover in the kitchen…we should have taken the clue. Salads which were mediocre (a Caesar and a house spinach) came around the 30 minute mark and the bread was good. At around 1 hour and ten minutes we asked how long for the entrees. The restaurant was 1/4 full and very quiet. The entrees came out a few minutes later served by the manager (a little wierd). My wife’s lamb shank and polenta was good. My dinner was a mixed bag. The two steak medallions were 3/4 size of a tube of chapstick, and completely raw inside. The Demi glaze and bernaise sauce were almost visible and the steak was lukewarm. The gratin potatoes were the best item on my plate and hot. The four quarter sized scallops were room temperature at best. Options now at 90 minutes were a complimentary desert or reheat the scallops. I chose neither and they subtracted my entree. I went home and had a ham sandwich.

    Our food was great.....the halibut and the twice baked potato that I had and the Nevada Grill that my husband had. He said scallops were a bit chewy but steak was nice . I like the salad a lot and friend with us liked his lobter bisque a lot. Service was excellent and wine choices extensive. I do like the ambiance and lighting (dim) in the Steak House. Do not like the smoke smell when entering the casino, which is typical of all casinos and why we usually avoid dining in casinos. Occasionally ( like last night) we make an exception!! Glad we did.....all was good at Nevada Steak House!!!

    Rib eyes were average at best. Some kind of problem in the kitchen - took way too long for the food to be delivered. Waitress was apologetic. Prettiest disappointed as I’d heard great things. Won’t be back.

    Took an hour to get our food. I ordered the "Nevada Grill", received 2 very small tournadoes and a very small piece of Salmon, the potato was huge, made the rest of it look like an appetizer. The "Nevada Grill" price was $40.00 for what was barely passable as a light snack. This used to be a really nice restaurant with quality food, but not any longer, it's sad. The manager comped us a couple desserts due to the wait which was nice. We live very close by and I remember when this place opened, at that time it was a nice establishment with a quality Chef, but things have gone terribly off track here.

    The steak and lobster was great but the Cesar salad that we were charged extra for was the worst Cesar salad I have ever had. We only ordered that salad because the house salad was not a normal house salad with all the extra ingredients that are added. I did not eat my salad at all. Absolutely disgusting. The steak and grilled lobster was perfect and I did enjoy the vegetables. You have very good ice tea which I enjoyed but my husband was very disappointed with his cocktail. He said he couldn’t even taste the rum and it was supposed to be made with Captain Morgan which is a very good rum. He said it just tasted like mix only and he does not drink his cocktails strong.

    Eh, I would be overhauling that kitchen. Where do I start, flavor there just wasn’t much. The lobster had no flavor to it, overcooked, and the butter was unsalted and was served in a cold cup so it thickened up a lot it was like clarified butter. Steak wasn’t bad light on the seasoning, the béarnaise sauce didn’t even taste like béarnaise sauce it lacked the flavor and they charge extra for it, at least make it right. I don’t know I’m very sad back when it was Tamarack Steakhouse it was so much better. We won’t be back.

    A perfect birthday dinner! The lamb was well-prepared, and prime rib was perfect temperature. Their twice-baked potatoes are the best! Service was outstanding, and overall vibe is very cool. Of note: their booths in the wine room are a bit tight for four people. Thankfully the tables provide very comfortable chairs.

    We have dined at Nevada Steak several times with friends and family and on our own. Last night was just like all our other visits to your steakhouse - excellent. We had reservations as we always do and we were seated in a lovely booth away from any 'traffic'. Our server was wonderful ... we ask for the same person every time we go and she is always great. Our food was delicious ... my husband ordered the marinated pork medallions from the Sunset menu and ate every bite. I ordered surf and turf. I brought more than half of mine home ... Lovely dinner beginning with the hot fresh baked bread through to the ice cream sunday dessert ... just the best.
