   It was good food. The portions were small for how pricey it was. The service was very slow and not too tentative. Probably won’t go back.

   As first timers we sat at the bar near the kitchen and had an amazing time. Not only did we make a new friend, but we were treated to exceptional service by the bartenders. They patiently walked us through the menu, let us taste some of the wine before we ordered and just made the night extremely pleasant. The food was out of this world. We ordered the focaccia walleye and turnips. Each bite was an explosion of flavors. We will be back!

   Service was amazing, interior was gorgeous, but the food felt like it didn't quite match the price tag. One of the dishes, a mushroom pate, genuinely felt kind of bland? the drinks, however, are something special. When I come back to Nevarre, it will likely just be for cocktails and bread service.

   Nettare is an absolute 10/10. If anyone is even remotely debating going do not hesitate! Cocktails are amazing and the bar program focusing on local spirits and wines is great. Food punches way above its weight, with amazing flavor and balance. I cannot recommend this place enough!

   We had a great experience at Nettare! The happy hour menu is a great value and the noise level was perfect - noisy enough to have privacy at our table but not too noisy that we had to shout to hear each other. The food was delicious - each bite was a mouthful of flavor explosion. I strongly recommend getting there in time for happy hour as your dollar can take you a bit further that way. But overall, I would eat here anytime as the food is well worth it!

   One note: we were seated at last 2 seats at the bar near the bathrooms. Right in front of us was the spot where dirty dishes were scraped and piled up. It made for a somewhat unappetizing backdrop. You should consider whether dirty dishes can be “processed” completely out of the dining area. Otherwise food and service were great. Thanks!
