Great restaurant, great staff, great food. We will be back!

Excellent space. Service was attentive and helpful. Food is delicious, creative, and worth the price. Brunch buffet is outstanding. Come hungry. Oh, bottomless caesers and mimosas? Okay.

Exceptionally wonderful food delivered with elegance. Exceptionally friendly and personalised service. We’re sure to go again.

Food is soooo good, my roasted lamb shoulder was literally melting in my mouth and the manager and the staff are all very attentive, didn't even have to try to make eye contact to ask for things, I was just kind of looking around to see where I can get napkins and someone noticed right away and asked what I need. It was an amazing experience and I cant wait to visit in summer when we can go for a walk after the dinner by the beach!

Atmosphere is fantastic. The slight smell of the wood burning adds a very homey feeling which adds to the already homey feeling of the restaurant itself. Food is fantastic. Very reasonable price and extremely tasty. This is not your average steak. The staff is polite and very welcoming I would highly recommend to anybody. Will definitely go back !

Went there for the wagyu beef they had on the menu but they didn’t have any. Was disappointed with that. But our server was fantastic. The quality of food. Was a 9 out of ten. Food is fantastic. Ambiance and layout was great. But I found it a little bit over pricey for what u get. But it is a definite try. Great experience.

Inexperienced service

Food was good but I expected value for the price, small unrealistic portions. Chef would not take out an ingredient for an allergy so for that reason my date could not have the meal she wanted. Over valued for what is brought to the table. Came hungry and sadly left hungry as well. Bill was over 200 at the end for a set menu and one drink, if portion sizes were increased I would then recommend Neruda again.

I was there for Valentine's Day. They had a price fixe menu but it was great value. The menu even included a glass of bubbly. The food offering on the menu complimented each other greatly. Not listed on the menu but they gave some frozen cucumber shaved ice to clean your palette before the next dish. We thought that was outstanding! The only downfall was the waitress we had didn't explain to us what each thing on the plate was for the appetizer as they were not easily identifiable. Otherwise, the ambiance was fantastic and would definitely return in the summer to try the rest of their menu

Uninspired

The most tender, tasty, succulent ribeye I have ever had.

We had a brunch here with a larger group this past Sunday. The food was fantastic-- it was buffet style with loads of options to choose from. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the quality of the food and the cook on the meats. Try the deviled eggs, the avo toast, mushrooms, the pastrami and the duck hash. They also have bottomless mimosas and ceasers for 19$.

Highly recommended. The food was fantastic - easily the best high end steak I've ever had! The wood grill makes a big difference and gives the restaurant a nice welcoming smell. Great service and ambiance.

Very fresh and tasty food. Great environment and great service. The owner himself was checking each table to make sure everything is good. The chef was professional and on top of his job. Overall very satisfied and for sure will be back soon.

Food was delicious and our server was very friendly. Saw this restaurant on BlogTO and wanted to try the dry aged steaks. Honestly think that the steaks at Neruda were more delicious than the steakhouse in Yorkville. We will be back!

Absolutely recommend Neruda based on our experience the other night. Just have to shoutout to the dessert chef for some brilliant flavours! WOW I haven't tasted something as aromatic as the passionfruit dessert in a long time.

The apps and main course were also stellar (we had salmon, steak, cheese board and chaser salad).

Selfishly, I wish it was a little closer, but getting here is easy and the parking is free if you have a vehicle.

Also, I want to mention that the service was great. It's hard to believe they just opened. Generally, places need a bit more time to get into the swing of things but they seem to be running like a well-oiled machine.

The lamb and steak are my favourites on the menu. I'm so happy a place like this has opened in this area. The summer will be amazing to enjoy the fantastic food and the waterfront. I'd recommend doing on Sundays and trying out their brunches as well.

We had such a beautiful meal at Neruda. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection. I've dined at restaurants that have been headed by Chef Romain Avril in the past, and never been disappointed. He seems to be the heart of this place as well. I'm also so happy that the waterfront has a place like this now where you can enjoy something more than fast food etc.

The ambiance is quite nice-- the service was impeccable. Overall, we loved our experience and the free parking makes it super easy too!

Neruda is a great addition to The Beach. The quality and sophistication of the menu will be welcome to those in the neighbourhood as well as destination diners.

We absolutely loved Neruda!!! The food was fantastic! Our experience was exceptional...from the owner greeting us and giving us a little tour then explaining the process to decide which farmers to get their meet from and the aging process. Along with the wonderful service and just tasty food..the ambiance was just perfect. Windows around and I can imagine how wonderful it will be looking over the beaches during the warmer months. For being opened only 6 weeks it exceeded expectations. Oh did I say how great the food was...yum!! Will be back!!!

Neruda is not an inexpensive restaurant and as such, one’s expectations are slightly higher. Steaks range in price from $55 to $145 with the exception of the flank steak which was $28). The staff, although pleasant, didn’t seem especially knowledgeable about the meat cuts, the serving sizes and how many people the shareable items would serve. The steak was delicious, cooked to perfection - however, it comes with nothing. We ordered 3 sides, which our waiter assured us was enough for four of us to share - it really wasn’t. The sides are extremely small for $10 each, more single serving than shareable and ours arrived at the table cold. On a positive note, the owner came around to all of the tables and introduced himself and we received 2 complimentary deserts. Would I go back? There are so many restaurants to try in Toronto to try, so probably not any time soon.

I am actually beyond happy that I came here, their service is above and beyond, the food absolutely amazing. my steak was perfectly medium-rare, mashed potatoes just how I like them. The owner was very welcoming, gave us a tour of the place, I will definitely be back worth the drive ! Thank you for a great night out!

The restaurant is amazing! So happy to have a great restaurant in the Beaches. The food was fantastic. I had the flat iron steak and it was delicious. The bartender even made me a mocktail. Desserts were fantastic. I had the raspberry meringue which was delicious. I have to try the brunch. The atmosphere was very good. Highly recommend and will be back

A great place, food and service wise. My wife and I really enjoyed it, all I gotta day is just an overall great experience.

We went for Saturday brunch. Everything was delicious!

We ate lunch at Neruda’s last Wed. In our menus, there was a piece of paper, listing the specials on Tues & Wed, one of which was half price bottles of wine. Since it was a Wed, we asked the waiter about this. He told us that this only applied to evenings & took away the pieces of paper. We advised him that evening was not stipulated on the paper. He said that he would speak to management about this oversight. Needless to say, we paid regular price for a bottle of wine.
One of our party ordered the beet salad. The plate arrived with a small portion of beet salad on one side of the plate while the rest of the plate was empty. It looked like someone had eaten half of the salad before it was served. The salad was good, but much too small.
Another person ordered the Cobb salad. It was huge, but it consisted mostly of lettuce.
The third person ordered a brisket sandwich & after seeing the other two meals, was glad that it included a side salad. However, the brisket was overdone & almost tasteless.
The ambience of the restaurant is lovely as always, & the view is spectacular.

Early in their lifespan, so time will tell. They did however do a great job of simple and that is all too often overlooked.

Best brunch in Toronto! Don’t change anything, that’s perfect!

The food at Neruda is unbelievable. The brunch selection blew us out of the water and every single item was so flavourful. Can't say enough good things about this gem. You definitely have to try it.

Great and much needed addition to the Beach and overall east of Yonge restaurant options

$25 breakfast buffet was so worth it for their month long grand opening celebration!! Will come back for the regular $45 buffet during a summer party, since it’s by the beach!! The food was so good!!

Only one suggestion: You’ve done a great work decorating the place to ruin it with a cheap OPEN sign in the front entrance. Please remove it!!!

A wonderful experience! It's a treat to see the thought that has gone into creating the space and the menu. The 24 foot long wood fired grill and the aging room are impressive additions to the ambience. We enjoyed the oysters, the chipas in the bread basket are a treat, and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Really happy to see chefs Avril and Assie creating this vibrant spot at Woodbine Beach - will be back often.
