   Vibe here is amazing and this would be a great play to come for drinks but the food just wasn’t good. Bolognese was definitely the best pasta but was still not amazing. Octopus was okay.

   Interesting menu, and the food is always excellent. Nerea is one of our go-to neighborhood restaurants. I have only one quibble, which is that while they have a bar and wine, they do not serve beer. Otherwise, we always have a pleasant meal at Nerea.

   Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place! I booked a reservation for Valentine’s Day over a month in advance, expecting a smooth and enjoyable evening. Instead, it was a complete disaster. Upon arrival—on time—the door greeter or manager (not sure which) seemed completely flustered. A crowd had formed at the entrance, all just as confused as we were. It turned out they had overbooked and didn’t have enough seats. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they asked guests to wait outside in 20-degree weather, with no guarantee of being seated at all. This was beyond disappointing. I chose this restaurant over many others, only to be turned away along with several other guests who also had reservations. The staff was rude, disorganized, and unprofessional. Looking around, the food on other tables didn’t even look appealing—some plates were clearly overcooked, and many diners seemed just as frustrated as we were. For a restaurant that markets itself as “sophisticated,” it lacks the basics of hospitality and organization. Luckily, we managed to find another place last minute, but this was a complete waste of time, energy, and money. Afterward, I checked reviews and saw that others had similar experiences—I really wish I had looked beforehand. Do yourself a favor and stay far away if you don’t want your night ruined.

   The space was beautiful and we liked the vibe. Our waiter was a bit cranky, but the food was great.

   We had a 745 reservation. The woman called me from the restaurant at 5 o’clock to make sure that we were coming and then asked if we can get there at 7:30 instead or get there 10 minutes late. We got there 10 minutes later as agreed over the phone and she sat us at the bar when we had a reservation at a table. There were 3 open tables for 3-4 which they seated people at after we were seated, wouldn’t you think that they would sit the 745 reservation at a table before they sit the 8 PM reservation??? Not to mention it was freezing at the end of the bar by the door. We honored their request to arrive later than our reservation time, what would be the point of that if they weren’t going to sit us at a table either way?

   Food was good. Services was OK, the place was very busy, so understandable. Drinks were delicious. Place is small and moderate loud. Very pretty inside. Overall experience was good, and would recommend.

   I booked this RSVP for myself and two friends. We initially had our time for 630pm but I called and was able to change it to 830pm. Once we got there we had to wait a while because our table wasn’t ready. When we arrived I did not realize how small this place was. That was an eye opener for me. Secondly, I would say the waiter and person in the front were very nice and tried their best to make things right. Third, the menu options are very interesting and portion sizes are small. The food id rate it 3/5. Not bad but also not the best. Ambiance is cool and nice. I would say perhaps the best time to go is weekdays and only on weekends but after 830pm or before 5pm. It seems to get pretty busy over the weekend. Overall, it was okay. Calm and simple. We got the Tomahawk Steak which was a special bit it was not really cooked.

    We loved it. Had a large group (10 people) and the service was awesome. The server was attentive, and they had many assigned to our table to help with drinks and plate clearing. Small place, delicious food, looking forward to returning.
