Guests are encouraged to begin the experience in the sleek and lush BG Lounge upstairs, accessed by elevator. Here one can meet for more privacy, enjoy early or late bites paired with one of Nerano's original cocktails – the Costa Amalfitana or Pearbellini, or his interpretation of historic and contemporary classics like the Nerano Negroni Blanco, Aperol Spritz, Boulevardier and La Floridita Daiquiri. The lounge doubles as a private event space and includes a dedicated kitchen.

Overpriced ($68 for lamb chops??) but good food and service. Good, contemporary ambience with visible, glassed-in kitchen. Waiter said he was at Vincenti for 20 years and came to Nerano with the chef, who was the chef at Vincenti. That explained the somewhat cocky attitude, which was always an unpleasant aspect of Vincenti in the past (although not recently). There are so many good Italian restaurants around that I probably won’t hurry back. Prefer the incredibly gracious treatment — and wonderful food — at Sfixio, also in Beverly Hills.
A welcome addition to Century City. Food is excellent. Part I like best is is can be special
occasion or a wonderful neighbor spot for a salad and pizza. Great service!
First time out with new friends and the restaurant, food and drinks were delightful. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Excellent and attentive staff. Great food and best crudites dipping sauce I've ever had.
Great addition to the neighborhood and my first time dining here. Food is really excellent and different from the usual Italian restaurant menu. Maitre d’ was very welcoming. Service was spotty: table partially cleared when one of us was still eating. Music was a little too loud for quiet conversation. That said, I will definitely go back.
Nerano is a truly great restaurant. The experience starts with a warm welcome from the manager and hostess who had clearly read my request on OpenTable for a quiet table and had arranged for one to be available (not always possible, of course, if others requested first). Then a similarly warm welcome from the great waiter - who described a wide variety of wines by the glass that were reasonably priced. After the drinks arrived he told us about the off-the-menus specials (I chose the prosciutto and melon which were prefect, the portion was large enough to be a main course; my friend chose a beautifully composed salad). The special swordfish was fresh and cooked perfectly, served with a nice array of vegetables. My friend chose a wonderful pasta. We ordered a tasty roasted cauliflower for the table. We shared a sorbet-based desert. A perfect meal, beautifully pressented by people at every level who make you feel at home. Run, don’t walk, if you want a special meal.
We go back again and again -- love the food, love Nerano's people, love the service, love the wine selection
Chef is incredible...food and staff just as wonderful!
Love this place everything was amazing!
Nerano was excellent. Although I rated it as everyday dining it is because of the proximity to
my home. We had a simple meal. On other occasions we have a a wonderful Italian dining
Service is always warm and caring. Nice for lunch, simple dinner or special occasion.
Truly top experience.
Love the food here, consistent and always delicious. Service seemed to be lacking because of the short staff (2 servers, 1 busser and 1 bartender). Servers seemed to have arrived at 7, we sat at 6:45 and waited 15min before a server came over and no servers were around that we saw.
The Hostess and chef were running around as well, but not chaotically, just trying to make it all work. It was hard to watch being that I’m in the industry.
Will still come back, just hopefully with more timely service.
Lunch for 2 on a Summer Saturday-the restaurant was very quiet ..
We were assisted by the wonderful Jana. Really enjoyed the pizza bread, salmon carpaccio, burrata with eggplant and especially the gnudi with truffles. The beignets for dessert were also outstanding.
We returned the next night for dinner with friends- the experience was not as good.
The pizza bread and beignets seemed to be day old and the Grilled Dover Sole was disappointingly overcooked.
We will try again for lunch soon
The food was outstanding. The service was not. I stood at the front desk for five minutes to be taken to my unoccupied table. The waiter avoided our table for 10 minutes with no water or cocktail. His first pass at the table, instead of asking if we would like a drink, he launched into the specials for the evening. Food was timely and tasty. The waiter also claimed twice that he was running in the back to get the fococcia. No focaccia arrived. Main course arrived. The waiter did not. No pouring of wine, water, etc. Bad service took away from the overall experience.
We just finished a second great meal at Nerano. Everything was delicious. The space is bright, airy and casual cool. The service was attentive but never over-bearing. This is on our short list for out of town visitors.
Warm and friendly. Food is ok. Overall experience was fun!
Consistently outstanding. Simply one of the best restaurants on the Westside of Los Angeles -- a gem. Front of the house service is impeccable -- Patrick, the manager, and his team are true pros -- and Chef Michele Lisi is a maestro, turning out dish after dish that are as good as what you'd eat on the Amalfi Coast, which inspires this well-curated menu.
Excellent food and service, Amazing wine selection and beautiful pizza dough.
Starting with the beautiful crudite (instead of bread), Nerano did not disappoint! Tasty, yummy risotto and perfectly prepared Icelandic cod. Plan to return soon.
The always delicious Nerano is perfect for a bite before the movies in Century City; and the bar upstairs was perfect to return to after the movies for a nightcap!
Beautiful restaurant! Very “south of France”! Great food, beautifully displayed!
From start TO FINISH our dining experience was sheer perfection.
Food was good, but small portions and over priced for what you get.
Every once in a while there's a perfect restaurant, where the owner, the entire staff and chef are in perfect harmony. Nerano is that awesome combination. I've eaten there enough times where by now I'd find something... anything... that I could consider displeasing, but every aspect of this wonderful restaurant leaves me satisfied and wanting to come back as soon as possible.
Excellent dining experience. Good food, excellent service and warm ambience.
Expensive and excellent only for an eggplant salad and dessert. Pastas O.K, but not exceptional.
Good food. Good service nice people
Great Italian food!
superb food, superb service - quality ingredients, authentic Italian, which is devoid of heavy red sauce with a heavy dose of parmesan... outstanding pizza... GREAT SERVICE... gracious, first class staff from the moment you walk through the door - without being stuffy
A lot of compliments to the chef Michele Lisi!
He is so talented!
We had the best spaghetti with claims and seafood risotto!
Taste also his special dessert....nocciolino, delicious!
I highly recommend this restaurant
Excellent food, great service
Place was a bit more casual than expected. It was also pricey given that location and quality of food and experience.
Excellent food, attentive service - a great place for great food
Fabulous meal, so accommodating to our special requests and absolutely delightful all around. The saffron risotto with gold leaf was extraordinary, gorgeous and tasty yet light. The seafood was so fresh and not over cooked like most places nearby. Best Italian in town by far!
Everything was excellent.
Loved the food.
Seating situation was a little awkward with a large party next to us. I asked for another table and they said this was the only one they had, but the large group was leaving soon.
The hostess then returned with complimentary champagne which was very nice. The group also left soon thereafter, and the seating situation was comfortable after that.
Service was great overall.
Thanks Nerano - I will certainly be back.
Our meal was excellent. Service was truly caring. Unfortunately there was
a group of ten adjacent to us that were a bit noisy. We were in the front room as I requested.
I think I would prefer the back room.
Loved the crudities to begin with. They enabled me to feel no guilt for the outstanding
We would travel to this restaurant. We are fortunate that it is nearby. The food is wonderful. Do not miss the pastas or the fish...sublime. The staff is attentive. The atmosphere is pleasing.
This might be my favorite Italian restaurant in LA.
Authentic Italian food at its best that managed a seamless blend of “high quality” “gourmet “ and “comfort”.
The food is simply delicious and my “hall of fame” items are:
Pizza Bianca (and I am not even a fan of white pizza..but the burrata, truffle and squash blossom combo still have me dreaming...)
Gnudi-the pasta my server informed me got voted as sexiests Pasta LA’s (won’t tell why..just go and experience it yourself!!)
And if you can spare some space to indulge in some Dessert/Dolci dive “all the way down” to the bottom of a unique sweet flavor explosion named
I dare you to have a spoon even if you ought to believe there isn’t anymore room!!
Last but not least the staff!
Their knowledge about the menu and wine and attentiveness is perfectly on par with the entire experience!
And if you find yourself lucky enough to get served by Armando-your mind might just trick you to believe that you actually are at the Amalfi Coast after all......
Nerano’s is a greater place to have lunch in LA. We had a fabulous server, wish I remembered her name. At any rate, authentic Italian, not ostentatious, and just all around a good place to dine.
I was quite excited to try this restaurant given the relationship to Toscana- one of our favorite restaurants for many years. My daughter and her colleague were in from NY and I wanted to try someplace new and special. My daughter eats out 6 nights a week in Manhattan so she is very picky. First the good news: ambiance was nice and noise level conducive to conversation but not like a morgue. Our waiter was excellent. the appetizers and salad were very good. However, both my daughter and I ordered grilled fish-branzino and dover sole- and her friend the chicken. The fish was highly disappointing because it was so overcooked. Of course I could have said something to the waiter but chose not to. I must say tables around us seemed to be ordering pasta which all looked quite delicious. So if you go, consider that first.
