Meaning “smoke” in Chorotega, the language of the indigenous people of our region, Nemare is a Latin Steakhouse that celebrates the local bounty by using artisanal ingredients from neighboring farms. This restaurant is NOT located at the Four Seasons resort, but rather at the golf club. To start, it is LOUD! Blasting club music for zero reason. Very aggravating.

Table-side Ceasar salad was amazing! The tuna tartar appetizer was unique and great as well. Side dishes were good. We ordered the local rib eye wagu- not a good choice as it was very fatty. Overall Nemare was our favorite restaurant in Guanacaste peninsula papagayo

This was the nicest restaurant we when to on Papagayo Peninsula. Very romantic and beautiful setting. Beautiful cocktails. Delicious fried octopus and amazing tuna tartare pockets.

The food was amazing!! The location and view were spectacular and we had the best service! The Birria braised beef ribs were very good and melted in your mouth. The kale salad appetizer and the choco coco dessert were yummy. Totally recommend this place. It’s on the pricier side of things but we celebrated our daughter in laws birthday so it was worth it for a special dinner.

The food was underwhelming especially for the price and we expected far better cocktails for the Four Seasons. The bartenders at Nemare would do well to connect with their colleagues at Anejo, where cocktails were excellent. The service was top notch, however. Specifically our waiter William was great - helpful, informative, efficient and friendly!

Food was fine but not great, especially for the price. Service was ok but nothing special. Had a big miss for us as we were celebrating a birthday. They acknowledged this during our check-in w the hostess but then no mention again during the dinner. We had a second reservation here for later in our stay but cancelled after the subpar experience.

Good vibe and great service. Bone marrow was incredible as was the rest of the meal that followed. Staff was all very nice and attentive.

Our experience was sub par right from the get go. The service was something to be desired. Dirty dished not cleared from table Under cooked food Had to ask to get anything like drinks, desserts, etc. Our worst experience at all restaurants we went to during our 11 nights. We expect better and I hope they do as well in the future.
