   Over all did a great job with the Mothers Day event and menu… food was good, service was good; food took a little too long so some kinks to work out. But we enjoyed it and would do it again.

   Nello’s Pizza provides an enjoyable dining experience. They created a lovely seating area for our group of 8, our waitress was so enthusiastic and competent. She was thoughtful and made sure that we all had exactly what we wanted in terms of drinks and our orders. The food came out together but my husbands chicken parmigiana was cold. My 8” pizza was hot. I ordered pepperoni and sausage with cheese on the pizza, but only the sausage was on the pizza. I thought the pizza was pretty good but it was not excellent. Given the rave reviews I had expected excellent. Overall this was a fairly good choice for us, as it provided the social experience we were looking for after graduation.

   We love Nello’s! Excellent service. We had the cheese bread appetizer. It is perfectly crispy and chewy. Wonderful pizza. We like the thin crust. The charcuterie plate had strange components and might benefit from an update. Excellent tiramisu. We will be back!

    Food was excellent for the price: spinach salad was delicious with perfectly flavorful and prepared bacon and egg and surprisingly tasty house dressing. Ambience was fine, but it is located in a strip mall setting, so not ideal.

    Great location, great food, and great service. I like it when the owners of family restaurants stop by the table, introduce themselves and are genuinely interested in how our experience was. We will be back for sure.

    Nellos Pizza has always been one our favorites, but we hadn’t been there in awhile, so we thought we should give it a try again. We saw that they were offering Cioppino as a Friday special, so we ordered a Cioppino, salad and pizza. The salad wasn’t very good, mostly lettuce, the pizza was average, and the Cioppino was very disappointing, mostly mussels, no pasta and barely warm. This dish cost $20, but really did not have much substance. In addition, we had poor service. Very disappointing.

    Everything was good, we specifically came for the wood fired pizza, unfortunately the pizza we ordered was not fired in the wood oven. If you are planning a trip here for that make sure to ask the server, i believe he said only the thin crust is wood fired. Over all was very good.

    This was the first time we ate in Nello's, an Ahwatukee staple. We were seated immediately upon arrival by Hannah. Our server was very friendly. While there was some delay getting our food - the restaurant was very crowded on a Friday night - when we had a problem it was resolved with a smile. We ordered the lasagna, the pasta bolognese and a margherita pizza. My pasta bolognese arrived cold, but was immediately returned to the kitchen and a new order brought out. Our waitress took the charge off the bill too, which was nice. The pasta was delish! The lasagna was amazing. My daughters loved the pizza too. We will be back.

    The place welcomes you with a friendly hostess who led us to our table immediately. The server was amazing. The food was delicious. We tried the deep-dish pizza this time and it was very good! All of us said out loud that we should come here more often!

    Nice surprise. Place was recommended and we stopped by before flying home. We thought it was basically a pizza joint. Surprise was how good the food was - bolognese was delicious as was margherita pizza. Will come back - but….noise level needs to be fixed - can’t hear and that ruins the meal for us

    We found this place on Yelp- it was very good, I am not a fan of doughy crust but to each his own! The Gluten Free crust was crispy and delicious, highly recommend! It was all around a very good meal and we will be returning! This place is for sure worthy of its own building, heavy traffic, nice outdoor patio, great little bar!

    We had great service.I appreciate the high quality fresh ingredients. The food here is delicious. Had a great dinner with the family. Everyone found something to love, pizza, lasagna - decadent, and the arugula salmon salad with couscous.
