HOW IT STARTED
Four brothers and 30 years ago- a small Italian restaurant was born in Tempe, serving beef subs, Grandpa Cesare's sausage recipe, Grandma Cleone's spaghetti sauce, cheesecake, and our original deep dish pizza.

Our little Nello's grew into an award winning "Best of Phoenix" restaurant year after year, after year... after year. Family recipes, family genius and family drama all keep Nello's going 30 years later to new generations of pasta and pizza connoisseurs.

A FEW THINGS THAT MAKE NELLO’S AHWATUKEE UNIQUE:
We are the only Nello’s location to use a wood fire oven, which was imported from Italy.
Our pasta is made in-house daily.
We stretch our own mozzarella.
Some of our meats are smoked and cured in-house.
All desserts are made from scratch in-house.
We support local Arizona farms by purchasing their seasonal produce whenever possible.

As usual the food was OK. Nothing over the top. Service was great and our server was polite and friendly. This place is consistent but never over the top oh wow! Wife and friends like it so I can manage to find something to have a great evening out.

Every time we visit Nello’s it’s an enjoyable and very well worth meal. My boys ordered pizzas (2 standard crust & 1 deep dish) & they loved it. Not to mention their adult beverages are quite tasty as well!

Have not been to Nello’s for several years. We used to go to the location at AlmaSchool& Guadalupe when we lived in Gilbert. Always enjoyed the food and service. Glad we decided to go here for our monthly dinner with friends. Service was great. Food was great. They still have the best Margarita pizza. Prices are also reasonable.

Our evening at Nello's was great. The pizza which we ordered was gluten free and was soooo good. Also, we had a nice wine, and our server was sweet and kind. We will definitely go back again.

We tried the beer paring dinner and it was fantastic! The menu put together with the beers from the Shop House (AZ only) were phenomenal! Service excellent and the price point was amazing! This place never disappoints!

Great place to meet up with friends and grab some fancy pizza. So glad they brought back the market pizza. This month choice is no joke - delicious. Service is great as always.
